Awesome compact nature reserve and pond. Lots of seating to watch the sunrise and sunset 🌅 Beautiful to just take a walk around the lake which is about a mile - comfortable for most. Good free car park and an atmospheric chapel opposite full of old memories. If you are into meditation this is the perfect setting on one of the benches in front of the lake 🧘‍♀️

Spent an amazing afternoon walking around the lake, feeding the ducks & swans and following it up with a walk around the beautiful, very old St Chad's Church. Very well looked after, I was using my manual wheelchair. I found no issues and was able to complete the walk. Well worth a visit.

Lovely local nature reserve, ideal for a short walk. Free car parking. Good for push chairs and wheel chairs, however parts of the path are eroded at the moment due to flooding in the winter. Had a lovely peaceful walk even though it's a sunny bank holiday!

Very small car park, but reachable by footpath from Breaston and surrounding areas. The carpark is (or should) be locked at night. Lots of benches to rest on, the path around the pond is gravelled, and suitable for wheelchairs and push chairs. The church yard is very quiet and picturesque. Lots of birds to feed, and an active bat population at night.also great for mayflys.

Beautifully maintained wheelchair friendly area with interesting wildlife and very tranquil setting. Great place to sit down, read a book and reflect.

An easy stroll in a place that's easy on the eye and is nothing but pure therapy. Easy to find, great for parking and very pushchair friendly. There are plenty of strategic benches, some picnic tables and loads of different water birds which are always up for a few crumbs. Lovely St. Chads church is right there too and there are countless footpaths and bridleways criss-crossing the whole area. Well worth a visit.
