Well, haven't been in there for years but starting going in there in 1989 as a kid, sister worked there, had my 18th birthday there, many games of pool and snooker, won an award or 2. Remember the surname smales ! Last time I was in about 5 years ago. Had my dad's 60th there in the annex .

The beer's cheap and it has a very good atmosphere and it some times outside music, quiz and card games in the evenings

This place used to be a decent place but I believe it has gone downhill over the past few years - rarely any entertainment but still worth a visit every now and again (once in a blue moon) for the odd one or two pints.
