My husband and I attended a birthing class with Jess and honestly, hands down it was the best thing we ever did. My husband was present throughout a complex labour, he knew what positions to put me in when I was unable to think for myself, he knew to keep me hydrated and massage techniques which were helpful rather than annoying. It allowed him to feel in control and encouraged him to advocate for the 3 of us when previously he has been extremely scared of hospital settings. I honestly believe Jess's class made our birth experience as beautiful as it was and we cannot thank you enough!

My partner and I did an active birth workshop with Jess. Jess had prepared a really well structured session and left us with useful guide sheets that we were able to attach to our birth plan and use during labour when we were both exhausted and needed the reminder! The class was also a really relaxing and enjoyable experience.

On behalf of my wife: I started the pregnancy yoga classes towards the end of my second trimester. Although I had no previous experience of yoga, I read about all the benefits it provides for pregnancy and birth. After a little research I found Jess - I loved reading about all her experience, qualifications and style of teaching - I knew her classes were the right ones for me! I attended the classes until 38 weeks as Jess tailored the classes to all stages of pregnancy and abilities - it was one of the best decisions I made. They were so calming, confidence building and allowed time and space to connect with baby. Her birthing ball classes were great too! I especially enjoyed these as I could spend a bit of extra time during the week implementing the techniques she had taught, and I believe that's what helped my baby to engage so early on. After such a great experience, I also attended her active birthing workshop with my husband. I knew I wanted an active birth and the hands on, practical approach to the class instilled confidence not only in myself, but my husband too! Throughout all the classes Jess also gave lots of extra helpful tips and provided a safe space to air any concerns with other pregnant women. She also had lots of books you could borrow and read in your own time - I was so grateful for this as I gained so much extra knowledge without having to spend out money on new books. Our baby was born very quickly with no intervention or medication. I put this positive experience down to all the knowledge, intuitive positions and calming methods I had learnt with Jess. I cannot recommend her and her classes enough! They are an absolute pregnancy essential!

I started Jess’s yoga class as enjoyed yoga before I got pregnant and wanted to keep as active as I could throughout. Not only was Jess an amazing teacher but I got to meet so many lovely mums to be and have a nice stretch and social every week. The birthing ball class saved my life in labour and me and my partner took part in the birthing workshop. This was amazing as he felt so involved in the birth and like he could really help me get through with the tips and positions we had been shown. I am really grateful to Jess as I think all of this contributed massively to me having such a positive experience with the birth.

I started pregnancy yoga from 12 weeks and I’m now almost 38 weeks- it’s been the best thing I could have done for myself during this time! I didn’t know what to expect at first but it’s been the most perfect balance of relaxation, mindfulness, movement and, of course, meeting lots of other mums to be which has been so special. Thank you Jess for creating such a lovely space!

Me and my daughter Emilia took part in Jess’ 6 week baby massage course. I feel that myself and Emilia really benefited from the course as she loves the massages we do together! Jess is such a lovely woman and a fab yoga teacher! Thankyou Jess x

Jess’ active birth workshop is the best investment you can make during pregnancy if you would like to learn about active positions and ways for your partner to support you. We thought the booklet she gave us was very useful as you can take it with you to labour. She also gave us a goodie bag with little nice treats which was very thoughtful. And the medication at the end was just perfect. We would recommend this workshop to anyone who is thinking about an active labour.

I have attended the active birth workshop. It was so well structured and organized. It gave me knowledge and confidence to support my partner while she is in labour. Jess even gave us a booklet with list of useful information and some refreshments. I would definitely recommend Jess’ class. Thank you so much!

Attended baby massage and loved it! Jess is so thoughtful and very welcoming. We loved attending Jess' classes as it was some much needed time out for both me and my baby. Jess also provided useful resources which you're welcome to use and there are some baby scales which you can use as freely as you like...which I loved due to lack of local services which have now been withdrawn, such as baby weighing clinics. Jess is very knowledable and very good at what she does, highly recommend! Thanks Jess, from Amy & Toby 🙂

I have done pregnancy yoga and baby massage with Jess. I would highly recommend both, Jess is very knowledgeable and makes you feel very welcome. The Yoga helped me to feel more relaxed and confident in the lead up-to the birth of my baby. The baby massage sessions were set up beautifully with lots of age appropriate toys, a photo area and even weighing scales so that you can weigh your baby. It was a lovely opportunity to bond with my baby whilst learning massage techniques but also to meet other mums with babies of a similar age. Jess provides a hot drink and biscuits for the second part of the session which creates a relaxed environment and opportunity to chat to the other mums easily. Jess also offered recommendations for other services in the area that cater to mums and babies which was an added bonus.

Jess is a fantastic yoga and baby massage teacher. I had the pleasure of taking a baby massage course with my first born and was an immense help when I found out my second baby was in an awkward position in the late stage of my pregnancy. Jess not only immediately found a space in her diary but also recorded the session so I could continue to do the exercises with help from my husband who was unable to attend. The baby thankfully turned to the right position and meant I was able to avoid a C-section. Thank you Jess!

Myself and my 12 week old baby have just finished the baby massage course with Jess. Jess creates such a warm and welcoming space for new mums to not only learn massage techniques but to chat with other mums. The course was really informative and helped to make our bedtime routine relaxing. All the little extras Jess thinks of just add to the whole experience. We will certainly miss the class!

We did a baby massage class with Jess and it was fantastic, she showed us tons of techniques to help with wind, colic and generally for keeping a baby happy! She also made a wonderful welcoming space for a whole group of new mums, would highly recommend Jess’s classes!

Myself and my son attended Jess’ Baby Massage course which I thoroughly enjoyed. Jess goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and cared for, she is the only host of a class that I know who goes around and makes the mum’s a hot drink of their choice and brings you biscuits. Her classes are carefully planned for both babies and parents in mind, plenty of interactive toys for the babies, a weighing station, photo area and changing table fully stocked. The rooms are always beautifully laid out and warm & cosy. She is also very flexible with timings and makes you feel less pressure when you have a sensitive baby. Sadly I had severe anxiety throughout pregnancy so could not attend any ante-natal classes or socials but imagine they are super beneficial to pregnant women and partners alike. The massage itself is taught really well and thoroughly, taking babies lead which is very important to me. She’s a real gem and her kindness and thoughtfulness really goes a long way to help parents feel at ease during what can be a very exhausting and stressful time. Thanks Jess xxx

Me and my baby loved baby massage each week, my baby loved having the 121 time with me without any distractions and after each session having the chance to play with some different toys. Each session she was chatting, giggling and smiling away! I was nervous about joining baby classes as a new mum incase my baby wouldnt settle or needed a feed etc, Jess makes you feel comfortable and makes it clear that a crying baby is always welcomed. It’s nice for a baby class to not just be about the baby but about the parent too. Jess teaches you breathing techniques and comes round with a warm drink/treats after each session, this gives you a chance to have a natter with each other. We are sad that the session is over as we’ve really enjoyed it however we have gained some new skills. Thank you Jess! Bea and Emma x

I’ve been taking my baby to Jess’s baby massage classes and can definitely recommend as she goes through the massage step by step then goes round every one afterwards making sure if you want more support then it is there but it is also a great environment to chat to other mums at a similar point with their babies!
