Thank God there is somebody open for a decent coffee in Inverloch ( read very decent ) add to this a good selection of coffee incidentals with all the sweet creamy goodness. If you are travelling this way Cafe Al Mare is well worth the stop.

We visited this café in the middle of our camping trip during cold, rainy, and windy weather. Despite the unpleasant weather, the café manager and staff made our night amazing and unforgettable with their kindness and empathy. Their warm hospitality was truly remarkable and turned a dreary night into a memorable one. We highly recommend this café and can't thank the staff enough for their outstanding service.

Great spot, friendly staff, and yummy food. Had a freshly baked croissant. They have several cosy areas to sit, and look on the street, they also have some cosy tables out the back. Perfect. Highly recommended.

Did a little detour after soccer today so the kids could enjoy an ice cream from a place we frequented whenever we were near Inverloch. I stayed in the car with the dog confident the kids could make their usual and simple choice of flavour for each of our ice creams. That’s where things turned sour - not the wake-up-your-taste-buds delectable kind of sour. So many flavours not available, so they eventually landed on the unexceptional vanilla and hazelnut. A couple of bites in, master 12yo described the ice cream as “chewy”, resembling that gelatinous texture from ice cream that should have been eaten a while ago. Sadly it was destined for the bin. The choc sorbet was also really very average too but master 10yo ate it . Each cone was a double scoop (unsavourily small) and the 3 ice creams were $31.79 including eftpos charge! Kids couldn’t find a price list or menu and like me, were totally shocked at the price. Needless to say we were disappointed, dissatisfied and gobsmacked at the experience. As I pondered how tricky it can be for small business, I reminded myself that as a customer entering a premises to buy ice cream, regardless of it being the off-season the quality and selection should be more generous. No more detours there. Ever.

Love the warm reception we receive every time we visit here. Staff are so attentive, never have to wait long at all and the food and coffee are always delightful. This is such a great spot in inverloch and the layout lends itself to a great time no matter what season.

Best ice-cream in Invy - locally made delicious flavours, cones or cups - anything salty is good for me - salty caramel or peanut are great. Jen loves macadamia and honey comb - honestly one scoop is enough. Most importantly this place is clean and well managed. Prices are 3 stars but thats what u expect for the best

My "go to" place for coffee and dessert after having lunch around Inverloch's main strip. The service is good and the gelato always hits the spot. Was really nice when you could order this and sit in their backyard and just relax. Went back recently and they've since moved the gelato to a take away counter and closed off the back area. Nevertheless, still hasn't stopped me from going for dessert.

Look no further for the best coffee in Inverloch! The cafe has a good selection of housemade brekky and lunch items including veg options (today's burger special a yummy beetroot, quinoa, avo and aioli on a brioche bun). There's still their famous ice cream which is now served from the side of the cafe so plenty of dining room inside and a bar area out the back for summertime cocktails and some evening meals.

Such a find in Inverloch, great selection of smoothies and breakfast options. Had ham and cheese toastie with relish and fruit toast and a peanut choc smoothie and freshly squeezed juice. Would have loved to take some of the cookies away but already had too much to eat!

Food was very basic. Asked for scrambled eggs instead of fried and was told it couldn’t be done. Coffee was average too. Ended up walking down the street for a better coffee and atmosphere at The Local
