What a wonderful pub restaurant. Absolutely fantastic value for money with truly delicious food, I can't recommend this place enough. If you visit here I'm certain you will not be disappointed. Lots to offer on the menu which will cater for all wallets. My gammon was 16oz and £15.50

Great pub, nice staff, great for families and kids. My 10 oz(?) Steak was the smallest I've had anywhere but it tasted great and no fat, gristle on it at all, I ate 100% of it! Pudding was small child size, again tastey but mean portion size!!

As an establishment that sells a wide range of steaks I was very disappointed as a chef with 13 years experience i expected better. Firstly was told they wouldn't season my steak with salt a pepper which should be standard! Then when it come out it was over cooked and definitely didn't taste fresh. Was recommended from a mate but it's not somewhere I would go back to. Definitely needs a more knowledgeable chef.

A nice meal, staff were all very friendly, super quick with bringing the food out. Fair prices. If we're ever back that way we would definitely consider returning.

Very nice place for the whole family to enjoy time together in friendly surroundings. I wish I had found this place in Summer - it didn't stop us sitting outside, though, because the patio enclosure at the back is great. Can't comment on food or service, and I only stopped for a pint. I had a chat with some local bikers that made this place their target.

The first time going certainly won't be the last. Serving staff extremely professional. Food mouth watering. All staff amazing. Clean and very roomy. Hidden away, definitely a lovely find. Just in love.

The food was really good. I had a fillet steak and it was cooked perfectly the only down side to it was ZERO seasoning. No salt, pepper or anything. The sauce is an additional cost as well.

A family friendly pub restaurant but not my personal choice. Customers wandering round without shirts on, children shouting, just not my idea of comfortable dining. The staff were pleasant and the food was good value it I just not how I prefer to dine.

Our first time there. Yes, very down to earth place, but the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We were there for lunch so neither wanted nor expected a large portion. I ordered the 6oz steak with peppercorn sauce. My wife had the fishcakes. Both were piping hot and absolutely fabulous. Yes, you can say cheap and cheerful but the service and the quality of the food was excellent. We'll certainly visit again and certainly recommend it.

Last time I went was disappointing. We ordered 2 10 oz rump steaks and a bottle of wine deal that we've done many times before and had some delicious steaks. The steak was too well done.. the guy behind the bar recommended med to well done, I usually have medium. The steak that came was very well done, a burnt taste.. we sent them back and got another one. it was OK but we won't be rushing back.

A bit, spit and sawdust type place, with staff that will interact with you, they're friendly and helpful, the main thing is the food, which is excellent, with a varied choice menu, the food arrived hot and more importantly, tasty..... This restaurant is spacious and cater for large group bookings, with a great atmosphere, if there is a drawback, it's located, out in the sticks and you need transport to get there but it's so,,,, so,,,, we'll worth it. Love this place,highly recommend, enjoy.
