I had a yearning for a Cuban sandwich with Black Beans & Rice! Delicious! However, I think it was a Medianoche opposed to Cuban because of the bread. The bread was more soft & bread-y than crunchy exterior & chewy like a Cuban loaf, but it was good! The Black Beans were just awesome! Seasoned very well and so delicious! This was my second visit to this place with my first being years ago, but I'm not going to let it be years again before I come back! When my Cuban sandwich urge hits, I know where I'll be heading!

After traveling all over the US and always eating in Cuban restaurants. This is the best Cuban restaurant I have ever eaten in the US. The food has the real Cuban flavor. I don't usually write a comment on Google, this is like my 3rd post. They really deserve my comment. The food and the mojitos are truly real Cuban and their people, te owner and waiters are exceptional people. You will feel like eating in your house with your family. If I could give them 100 stars I would.

This is a great Cuban restaurant with high quality food in the heart of Melbourne. I ordered chicken soup and steak sandwich (pan con bistec). Soup was like grandma’s; however, it didn’t have angel hair noodles to be more Cuban authentic. Steak sandwich was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised of the fries cut; not just the frozen kind, but homemade. Price is fair, neither too low nor high. Overall review: Recommended!

Great little spot for Cuban food. Quick service for a Saturday night. Tasty appetizers, entrees were all huge portions, we were too full for dessert. Sangria was excellent and followed up the meal with some Cuban coffee. Rated 4 instead of 5 stars because their mojitos are not made with rum. Get the Sangria instead.

This place was some SERIOUS good. First, the mojito was amazing. Good size and delicious quality - very refreshing. Then, the empanadas were so so - certainly not bad. Friend got the tamales and they looked much tastier though and he seemed to confirm. Then I got the filet mignon which was quite good and a very generous portion. Finished it all off with some tres leches cake which was also very good. And honestly, for everything we got it was not crazy expensive by any means. Quite glad we came here, I think 4.6 is too low, easily 4.7 or 4.8 caliber.

Omg, the food here is wonderful. It is truly authentic and the space is quaint with lots of Cuban memorabilia. Will definitely make it my go to for date night. ADIS was a fantastic waitress.

Was here earlier in August. Yes, I'm Cuban (half). And yes their food is legit Cuban food. Super delicious. I probably gained like 10 lbs from that night. We had the croquettes, beef empanadas, mariquitas, Pollo con arroz with maduros, sangria, and chocolate mousse cake. Everything was MUY DELICIOSO. You will definitely get your Cuban food fix here. The environment also brings me back to mis abuelos casa. It's so homey. What a gem.

I've been in the area for 9 days and this is by far the absolute best food I've had. The Pollo Asado Caimanera comes with an exquisitely simple meat sauce which accentuates the flavor of the quarter cut fall-of-the-bone chicken (just be careful with the small chicken bones). I later learned that the sauce comes from an original recipe from the owner Nini, a Cuban grandmother who passed away. Before passimg away she taught her grandson Chef Jorge all her cooking skills and recipes. In a world where food is over-flavored it is an absolute delight to experience unique minimal flavors that make your palate jump with joy! Some people bring a little joy to the world around them, that's what grandma Nini did. I really appreciate simple clean food that's not trying to be something else. Thank you grandma Nini, from a first time customer but an eternal admirer. The staff was warm and friendly, I felt like a family member, especially after they explained the story behind the restaurant and showing me pictures of Nini on the wall. Amazing!

Don’t let the unassuming outside appearance fool you, there is plenty of charm to be found inside, along with lively Latin music and friendly service. After deliberating between a Cuban and a few other dishes, Sofia recommended the roast pork, and she did not steer me wrong. (Always ask the servers!). It was in fact some of the best roast pork I’ve ever had, served with black beans and rice and some tasty yucca with mojo. I wasn’t planning on dessert but after Sofia suggested the flan, I could not pass it up, along with some strong Cuban coffee. The food was reasonably priced for the quality and I look forward to returning for dinner in the near future.

Good environment and enough dishes selections on the menu and prices vary, not too cheap but not too expensive. It is a small restaurant, maybe 35-45 can eat at the same time in between inside and outside tables but it’s still a great atmosphere and there is still plenty of space. Me and my family ate right after the beach in Melbourne so if you’re looking somewhere to eat Spanish food after a beach day? This is the place. Thank you Nini’s for great food and great service.

Definitely on our traveling list. Can’t wait to revisit. My wife has severe food allergies and the server was so sweet, going over every detail to make sure there would be no reactions. Awesome place, food, staff

The food was absolutely amazing. It was all so good and just tasted great!! Our server, Sofia, was excellent and very attentive. She went above and beyond helping our party with suggestions and ideas. If your ever in the area of Melbourne Beach I would strongly recommend stopping by!

Been here 3x (edit:4x) and just love it! Great people running it with genuine expertise not only in Cuban cuisine but also how to make their guests feel welcome. The ingredients are fresh and high quality, the spices and flavors are clean and tasty, and the atmosphere is fun, I had the best steak salad of my life, and my companions loved their dishes. Next time I'll have the pincho beef skewer that's crispy on the outside but still medium rare inside. I mean, how do you even manage that!

We were visiting family in the area and wanted a good lunch. We love Cuban food and enjoy it whenever we visit Miami. Nini’s was an amazing surprise! The Mojito was the best my wife has ever had! The servers are friendly and attentive. The food is fresh and so delicious! My Salmon Sandwich was wonderful and my wife enjoyed her Cuban sandwich very much. Order the black beans as a side-authentic and tasty!

We live in Tampa and came over for a couple days at the beach. We had dinner here and were extremely impressed! Best Cuban food we have ever had. Great service as well. It is very small so make a reservation if you don’t want to wait.

Holy delicious Cuban cuisine. Stopped in for a dinner and fell in love with this quaint Cuban cafe. Their mojitos are AMAZING. They are all hand muddled and expertly crafted. Their sandwiches are where they excel. The Ropa Vieja had the most tender roasted beef combined with the tangy pickled onions and creamy tzatziki sauce and it was a great combo all served on their Cuban bread. Their fried plantains were perfectly sweet and crunchy while their black bean soup was so hearty and well seasoned.
