Staying at the Historic Waterfront Mansion was like stepping back in time to a more elegant era. The mansion's architectural splendor and period furnishings offered a window into the past. Our room was elegant, and we could gaze at the waterfront from our window. The innkeeper's knowledge of the mansion's history added depth to our visit. This is a place where history's echoes still resonate.

Fantastic lodge - extremely clean and warm which is especially welcome during the recent cold snap. Christmas tree was in place in the lounge which was an unexpected bonus. Lovely semi rural setting with Burton nearby for any essentials. Recommended.

Lovely quiet location, nice bread and cake left on arrival and the lodge was immaculate and clean. Hot tub is a great size and bigger than others we have stayed at around the UK.

So, to be honest, I booked our stay on a whim, I didn't want to pay the extravagant prices of the RIP package at Download and wanted somewhere nice for my family while we went to the festival. Have to say it, I accidentally pulled off a blinder! Knights Lodges are amazing, really comfortable, well planned out lodges, really kind staff, peaceful location, literally think of anything you really want for a chilled stay, that box is ticked. Can't praise the place enough, we're already booked for next year!

Absolutely fantastic lodges, and the views and scenery sublime. Don't hesitate to book your holidays here because you will enjoy every minute of it.

Wow just wow. The lodges are well equipped with everything needed. The hot tub was set to a great temperature and there was nothing which could be better. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice relaxing break!

Enjoyed our Bank Holiday stay, Welcome pack was so thoughtful, it's a bit of a distance to get anywhere, we popped into the Unicorn Inn for Sunday lunch (was amazing, definitely worth a visit) lovely views, spacious, dog friendly, clean, tidy, well equipped.. worth a stay definitely be back next year!

A perfect 4 night stay for our anniversary in Mulberry Lodge! The lodge was brilliant with a stunning view, so clean and we loved the sauna and hot tub. The extra additions like the Prosecco and fruit cake were lovely. We can’t wait to come back!
