Sadly, no longer a quality fish and chip shop. Given the benefit of the doubt several times recently. Not again. Tonight's offering was greasy and overcooked - not to mention arriving home to find one meal was missing, despite being charged for it. I daresay it would have ended up in the bin anyway, along with the rest of the order. Didn't even merit the one star I had to award it to give this review

Hands down the best fish and chips I've had anywhere near Nottingham. Fish was freshly cooked, batter was light and crispy, and there was no excessive greasiness which you get elsewhere. Reasonably priced and good portions. Great staff and service. Parking can be tricky, but it's worth the time looking for a space nearby for the quality here.

The best Fish and Chips I've been to. Beats Platten's at Wells and Waldo's at Sutton OS. Very friendly staff and the building itself is well-cleaned and organised. Ordered a large haddock and small chips; Dad had mushy peas and small chips. Haddock was very large (gr8!) with thin batter (which is good); meat itself was delicious - flaked away perfectly and was piping hot. Small chips are actually a large portion (but that's just me lol). The fish is cooked to order so it is extra fresh. However, the peas were a little hard. Be back again and definitely recommend it!

Easily the best fish and chips I’ve ever tasted. Fresh, not greasy, chips not too hard or mushy, just perfect. The staff were so polite and helpful.

Absolutely the best fish and chips away from the coast. I live in Cotgrave, but after many disappointing experiences in Cotgrave fish bar, I tried Lady Bay based on other reviews. Very pleased I did ,choice and service second to none, more importantly the fish was freshly cooked to perfection chips excellent. Can tell the fish is fresh as no fishy smells left behind. Don't have fish and chips often but will only be using this chippy in future. 5 stars highly recommended.

What a great fish & chip shop - probably the best fish & chips I've ever had! Charming team serving, and the shop was immaculate too. Can't recommend highly enough!

First time coming here, all food was delicious but the fish batter could have been a tad crispier but other than that perfect
