Great ideas that haven't quite got there. Stuff like the rope climb were shut, bins were overflowing, amenities needed some attention. Sense was they were trying but just not enough of them. Other parks going down this resort style path are doing it better. The front office staff were the best!

The Park Lane chain are great and the amenities are always clean and tidy, great play area for the kids and movie night, popcorn is a hoot for $2. just needs some games for adults like pinball machines and then it's 5star.

Beautiful park, ensuite was spacious and clean. Perfect if you have children but also suited our purpose (waiting for house settlement and furniture arrival). Site level and large enough for car and 22' van. Would highly recommend this park. Not a top priority but internet was excellent

We stayed here for a few days. Itā€™s located really in the middle of nowhere and around 7km from any shops. The house itself was pretty big, but the rooms were a bit cramped. There was one master bedroom and another room with a double bed and another bed on top of it, where you could not sit up straight. They cleaned the house nicely when we were out. Didnā€™t get to try the mini golf. The gym was really small and had a bench which wasnā€™t really useable.

Shocked at the "quality" of my cabin for the price charged. I booked for 7 nights as I was waiting for settlement of my house so needed somewhere to stay with my small dog. Had been a stressful time so I'd hoped to get a comfortable, quiet place to relax and de-stress but that's definitely not what I received at over $200 a night! I was charged before arriving and definitely didn't want to end up homeless but was shocked when I entered my cabin. Broken bedroom door, no bathroom door, stained carpet, dirty oven, stained dish cloth, no DVD player, old TV which you couldn't mirror cast to, no ironing board and limited tea, coffee, sugar, salt and dishwashing liquid (all in satchels) which were never topped up. Of course the cabins are close together so you really needed to shut the bedroom blind to use the shower, with no door you're stepping out of the shower where someone next door could see you through the window! I started reading some reviews and saw it wasn't a good idea to complain as you'd be told "this isn't a motel" so thought oh well at least the bed is clean, there is a fridge/freezer, I had WiFi and the water is hot. I did find after 3 days my towels were changed which was appreciated but nothing else was topped up. I had luckily brought my airfryer with me as I definitely wouldn't use the oven so really services provided were limited. The worst part was the beginning of the "cup" long weekend. The park was inundated with campers, cramped in like sardines and they took over the park. Kids ran rampant riding bikes, scooters and skates around the park taking over all the roads so making it very difficult to drive in and out of your cabin - they'd appear out of nowhere running out onto the road from behind a van and then just playing there so you couldn't safely pass - even travelingat 10km you need to be VERY careful. There is a playground there but the kids seemed to prefer the roads. My cabin and car were continually hit with balls being kicked around, it seems the cabins and camping are mixed and there is no open area for the kids to play. Nowhere to walk your dog either so it's not really "pet friendly". WiFi died with the influx of campers so not sure if that was due to too many people using it but was back up and running once they'd left. The smell from the "ensuites" near me for the camping sites was bad on Tuesday morning, you opened your cabin door to a "sewerage" smell. I have often stayed in cabins around parks in Australia but this is the worst for the price that I've experienced as far as quality and service, it was very disappointing. I'd rate my cabin 2 stars which I think paying $200+ a night for is very overpriced - no discount either for a long stay which obviously saves them money when they aren't cleaning or servicing the room for a week.

Great kids activities, very clean indoor play room. Not walking distance from anything, however 2 big towns within 10 mins drive. Stayed in pet friendly cabin, clean enough but could do with some upgrades. Overall lovely staff and a good holiday spot with 2 young kids

It is a great way to escape Melbourne for a weekend without having to travel too far. Our cabin was immaculately maintained with everything you could need for a few nights, including a very comfortable bed. Fantastic activities for families, especially those with kids. Being only 5 minutes from the heart of Traralgon shopping and dining was also very easy.

One of our favourite Big4 caravans parks! Perfectly suited if you have kids (or not). Plenty to do such as mini golf, swimming pool, heated spa, indoor play centre, outdoor undercover playground, ropes course, laser tag, pedal kart, jumping pillow. The ride on train is a bonus! Our 4 year old loves coming here. So much so that on the way back home from our trip driving past, he cried when we didnā€™t stop because he loves it so much. Laundry takes card which is also a huge bonus if you need to do washing or drying as we always seem to be out of change. Weā€™ve been here many times and itā€™s never disappointed. Staff are wonderful as always.

We booked with Big4 because of its proximity to the hospital, but unfortunately, it was below the standards we are used to for Big4. We paid $250 for a cabin, my sister was charged for $350 for the same thing, same amount of people, both of these far exceed the value of the experience. The bunk bed was not made, no dish rack, broken tiles, splotchy paint, curtains that allowed the 24 hour light through (we might as well have stayed in a tent the curtains were that effective). The bouncy pillow was so low in inflation that our feet hit the ground around the perimeter. This is not a ā€˜howā€™s the serenityā€™ advertised big 4: the closest thing to aesthetics was the intermittent sound of truck air brakes throughout the night. You should also be aware that the ROPES and LASER TAG course is ONLY open on the WEEKENDS (we were advised later that this was in the fine print- which doesnā€™t help if you book in person). While the people on the desk were lovely, this was the end of a positive big 4 stay.

Our holiday at Park Lane was nothing short of wonderful! The staff were just lovely from the minute we arrived. They were happy and enthusiastic and loved my little girl and made her feel so special. The facilities are impeccable! Great playgroup, super fun bouncy pillow, mini golf, pedal cars, pool, spa, a play centre and a ropes course?! Thereā€™s even a little train that does rides around the park! A kids dream! We had some rain and some sun, and we had something to do for all kinds of weather! My little one loved making friends with all the other kids. Everyone we chatted with was happy and friendly, which I would say was a product of the fun, easygoing atmosphere created here. The showers, toilets etc were super clean and nice. The kitchen was the same, clean and well kept. We will definitely be back! What a wonderful place with wonderful people!

Did not live up to our expectations. I should have read the reviews before booking. Photos on the website do not match what you see. There is a lot of TLC that needs to be put into this family park. Understaffed - poor communication - staff not confident and available when you need them. Activities not opened at the correct times and no one there to help you and assist at the activities. Poor customer service on check -out. Hard to manage the families who are staying at the park and also all the outside people coming into use the facilities. Not sure if we will stay again :-(

Sad to say, one of the worst Big 4's that we have stayed in. Asked about site before entering and was reassured all was good. Well, I drove to site. Next door had encroached onto ours by over 2 meters. No sullage point. Also, even though the mini golf, laser tag, ect, is open to the public, anyone off the street can access the park and sites. Great idea's but wrong direction. We had issues with staff and service. It's a big park for the kids to roam around do you need to be vigilant, but that's it as mini golf laser tag you get at a discounted rate not free. The climbing ropes were closed for maintenance.

Stay here quite frequently for work, this last time for a whole week, disappointed that not once do you get clean towels, a cabin that sleeps 5 had 2 towels for 5 days, no room serviced at all, saw another review saying the same with response ā€œthis is not a motelā€ well you can stay in a motel for $100 we were charged $175 per night for a little cabin. Have stayed in hundreds of places that service the cabins during your stay. The second bedroom doesnā€™t even have a door just like a divider slide across curtain that doesnā€™t even close properly Very poor service for the price Asked for clean towels and was told to goto reception before 6pm šŸ¤Æ

Great for kids! Lots to do, was a great please to stay after being on the road so long, had a warm shower and washed & dried out cloths and was ready for the road again, did not want to leave. Good if u get up the front of the park so not to far to walk with kids.

Stayed onsite with pop top. Park pretty squishy, max two night stay, otherwise kids will get bored. Indoor playground great. Worth driving to terra bulga if nature is your thing. Outdoor play area in need of some TLC over winter. Jumping pillow good. Caravan shop next door a good place to get any spares needed and to check out new vans

The shower / bathroom full of black mould, there was a spill of red liquid on the wall that wasnā€™t cleaned up. The couch underneath the cushions was full of food and bottle caps that were not ours. It had clearly been a while since the couch had been cleaned / vacuumed. The toilet smelt like urine on the floor/walls. The curtains are mostly broken and falling off the rails. The playground was half broken. Upon arrival to the cabin we had no tea towel, no dishwashing liquid and no dish cloth. They provide some knives (a set that has missing parts) but no chopping board to chop anything on. The pool was dirty, the baby pool isnā€™t very deep but you couldnā€™t see the bottom it was that murky. The pool says solar heated but even on a 33 degree day during a week of hot days it was freezing cold. We ended up going to the Traralgon Leisure centre instead. It was nice to be away on a family getaway and the jumping pillow was good fun, so overall we had a good holiday but the place needs a lot of work. Itā€™s also quite small so it felt cramped as it was fully booked so a lot of noise. There was some metal plank connected the road to the driveway of the cabin next to us and kids drove over it on scooters about 1000 times during the day and it made a super loud clanging noise. They did it late (like up til 11pm) which was not fun. Not sure why it was there but Iā€™d suggest a different method to fix it than something temporary and loud like that.

Great family park just 5mins from city centre. Clean and updated amenities. Large kitchen and seating area. Clean and big tv/games room. Play area, jumping pillow and high wire course for kids. Large grass sites and cabin style accommodation. Park manager Heidi and her staff are very friendly and accommodating. Recommend you visit, we will be back.

Poor form for a big 4 I normally love them. Very small dirty pool (the pictures on website make it look way bigger) was very cloudy water not clear, looks like not enough chlorine couldn't see kids under water. All the kids became very sick on departure and it in hindsight I think this was due to the pool. Looks like no maintenance specific person attending to it and just receptionist doing it at night q. Also noticed major maintenance the ropes course is of course not open but there was a broken Jumping pillow, unsafe playground steps both became closed at some point during our stay. Leaves all over the mini golf, unsafe gym equipment, ball cannon not operating in play centre. The park is nothing special and doesn't live up to a big 4 reputation. Wrote an email and 7days later no reply even though reception said I would get a response. So disappointing. Not worth the money I expect more from big 4 brand.

Do not recommend this park at all there is not much to do around the area. The pool photos are very deceiving itā€™s the tiniest pool you will ever see. The staff is extremely rude, we had to wait 3 hours to get our cabin after the checkin time . There are way more better parks to explore than this one. The shared kitchen fridge is so tiny that only one family can hardly put their food in there let alone the whole park. I am not sure what the ā€˜Pet friendlyā€™ clause actually includes when nothing actually was pet friendly and or had any pet safe spaces.

Cabin was very clean and tidy and comfortable, bed was super comfortable. The grounds are very well maintained and staff were very friendly and super helpful. Only about 5 minutes from the heart of town. Would definitely stay here again

I spent 8 nights at Big 4 Park Lane Traralgon. First up the staff appeared to be lovely and the park itself looked well kept and neat. However, on my first night there, the blind to the sliding door was difficult to close. On the second night it fell off the hooks. I tried to contact the after hours number numerous times with no response. On my third day I went to the office in the late afternoon (as I was here for work and that was the only time I could get there) to be told maintenance had already left for the day. A staff member came and put it up and it didn't work. The next day they put up a new blind but it had mold on half it. Staff came to clean it and they where lovely. On this same day I noticed that the TV didn't work. When I first got here there was a second TV in the cabin but was removed while I was away the 2nd day. I informed staff that the TV didn't work on the day I noticed it didn't work (which was my 4th day and the day after) I was informed they will look into it and either fix the TV or put another TV by the next day. This never happened even though I was there for another 3 nights. The bathroom area had both vinyl and carpet flooring and the carpet smelt like mold and very musky. Also the near new looking bar fridge which has a small freezer did not work appropriately. The freezer could not keep things frozen and I lost ice-cream and the fridge part froze fridge items which in turn needed to be thrown out.

If you have kids on holidays, or the children want fun and adventure on the weekend. This place is perfect, suitable for children of all ages. My 11yo SN son loves it here and my 18mth daughter gets a thrill playing in the indoor play centre. This isnt just for caravaning, this is a place for all children, and the perfect spot for parents to get some peace and quiet. Well see you next weekend šŸ™

Negative- Property is rundown Wifi hardly works even though offered for free. TV hardly works It mentions heated pool, which is incorrect Amenities are old Laser tag, train ride, come at extra charge Positive - Reception lady and other staff are really helpful. All in all- Don't expect too much from this place.... Good for couple of days.

No complaints. The unit was clean and has everything you need for your stay except food. Indoor playground for kids was excellent and so is the outdoor playground. Highly recommended. Btw, if you have a Tesla, Moe Supercharger is not that far.

Great place to stay! The staff were amazing and went above and beyond with everything. The kids had so much to do and were never bored. Can not fault. 3 cabins hired and a powered site all clean. Definately will come back.

Amazing customer service! Needed accommodation at short notice and the staff did everything they could to accommodate us. The cabin was freshly refurbished and a delight to stay in. Heaps of facilities for the kids to enjoy and Stephanie at reception was super-friendly, welcoming and made all the difference. Will definitely be back!
