This is the best pub we've been in for a long time. The landlord/lady and staff are super friendly and super helpful especially with my wife using a wheelchair. They don't do food every day but the Sunday lunch is very impressive and great value! The regulars are very friendly and the beer / drinks are reasonably priced...overall top marks!!

We had a pool match last night at the red lion and wow what a cracking pub, cheap beer compared to other pubs around and the food was awesome 👌 we will defo be back for Wednesday steak night

Just shared my 1st Sunday dinner at the red lion with my family. I had the lamb was absolutely beautiful. My 5 yr old son was catered for. I asked for a smaller portion for Theo, nothing was a problem. My son had the chicken again I tasted the chicken was done beautifully. All the trimmings where delicious and came separately to help your self. The Yorkshire pudding was big crispy and tasty. Staff and the owners where polite helpful and cheerful. The owners are just passionate and very hard working and this shows in food and service. A really nice homely well cooked tasty Sunday roast. In a beautiful well presented village country pub Highly recommend. Erica❤️

Came to this lovely wee village from the north east coast of Scotland for a old friend bday weekend . Stay in the refurberd room upstairs . Very comfy ,felt very welcome Fiona and Andy are the heart of the pub . Will defo visit again

Highly recommend this pub. We visited here last Sunday for dinner, it was amazing. Everything was so tasty, fresh and beautifully presented. The portions are very generous and definitely value for money. 8 different types of veg I counted!! The chocolate brownie is just something else too! The pub is beautifully decorated with such a cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
