Had a delicious crepe, so goooodd!! Perfect place for breakfast, the location is nice, i liked the outdoor seating, the service was good. The dishes are decorated instagram ready, but i couldnt stop myself so ate first and there was no food left to be captured haha

I came to Roule Galette with absolutely no idea what to expect. I didn’t know what a galette was before my girlfriend and I received a breakfast invite from her family and I googled it; I’d never even had a proper taste of French food before. Boy was I shocked. Roule Galette is tucked away on a sleepy alley that provides a lovely atmosphere, and is staffed by many French travelers and French Australians! The galettes themselves are beyond belief, a savory pancake-type food perfectly suited for my general avoidance of a sweet brekkie. Tonguy (unsure of spelling mate, sorry!!) was a brilliant waiter, as well as the other staff member who helped us with our coffees. Kudos to the whole team for serving up a truly amazing experience for my first taste of France! ???

The gluten free crepes are to die for, both the savoury and sweet variations. They understand cross-contamination requirements for people with coeliac disease and I feel safe eating here. The service was also super prompt!

This is, without a doubt, my favourite Melbourne cafe. Everything about it is just so lovely. They serve delicious, authentic crepes, with just the right amount of toppings, all so well balanced. They don't try and be fancy or clever, and simply let the food speak for itself. The staff are so friendly and nice and the food is reasonably priced for an inner Melbourne laneway cafe. I have made it a point to visit here at least once everytime I visit Melbourne. Highly, highly recommended.

Cosy and tasty. Savoury crepes were just delicious!!! Very petite place so there are limited number of tables. Expect some wait times on weekends.

Tasty crêpes! A bit sad a four-cheese gallete wasn't in their menu, but it's a great little shop to discover as you walk around Melbourne CBD.

Only found this place because a local took us there. Absolutely wonderful French staff. The food was great but the service made this place.....great atmosphere. Very small but adequate wine list - the petite Chablis was lovely and crisp and chilled.

Close with City library ! And i had a recommended crepe with chocolate, bananas, strawberries, almonds and ice cream. Also one flat white! Very nice, my favorite crepe already ?. And staffs here are all nice and friendly. Crepes are around 15AUD. Reasonable price i guess. Recommend! :)

Cute little place and enjoyed their signature galette♡it was not too heavy and not too light, I would like to try crepes next time. I also liked hearing French in the kitchen and between the staffs who are working there?

Very nice place for authentic French crepes hidden away on Flinders Lane near Flinders Street Station. The Roule Galette complete is very good sms we also enjoyed the dessert crepes. We had the Chamonix and the flaming Famous Suzette. The staff are also very friendly. Highly recommend this place. ?

Nice place to eat amazing crepes! The food portion is fair and the place is cozy with friendly and kind staff. Perfect to have some brunch over there and it surprised me that they are open from 7.30am until 8pm during the week. Highly recommended.

It's a beautiful little spot for an amazing crepe experience. I highly recommend everyone who wants to treat their sweet tooth friends to drop in and try their crepes. Possibly the best Melbourne has to offer. Love em to bits. The service is always amazing and having visited multiple times, I can guarantee you will have a good time.

I did not know your restaurant was there! As a special surprise we had petit dejeuner there last week and loved eating authentic French food. We loved a welcoming Bon Jour, and the staff trying to teach us a few more words. Beautiful food and great atmosphere. See you all next time.

I got the monkey crepe and roule galette complete. Both were delicious and the galette was so filling I saved the rest for breakfast another day. I love the cheese they use.

Fancy restaurant, just a bit pricey. The staff is friendly and I'd go there again, maybe with a bit more money ^^

(Translated by Google) A place I found while searching for restaurants. A lot of people came and ate while waiting, and the seat circulation became faster. The taste is okay, but the price is a little It was salty for personal taste. Still, the taste is okay ^^ (Original)

(Translated by Google) Nice welcome by a friendly team. For the food (and especially the pancakes) it's just good (and at $ 6.5 sugar butter, a simple classic, you can expect a lot better). Pity! A slightly disappointed Breton. (Especially with regard to the rating of 4.7) (Original) Bel accueil par une équipe sympathique. Pour la nourriture (et en particulier les crêpes) c'est tout juste bon (et à 6,5$ la beurre sucre, un classique simple, on peut s attendre à vraiment beaucoup mieux). Dommage! Un breton un peu déçu. (Surtout au regard de la note de 4,7)

Too slow the service. I waited 35 minutes for my coffee and the crepes where to crispy, the Asian guys serving us was way to arrogant. Mmmm yeah no cool experience.

  • 1Brittney P. 1 year ago
Extremely rude staff, food is decent but definitely not worth it to be looked down on and belittled. Would much rather go to the crepe stand on swanston street, much friendlier and welcoming
