Best place for a bit of daytime bromance

Best breakfast we've had in two weeks traveling in Aus (Sydney to Melbourne). Lovely (if not calorific) food. We had Fried chicken wallfles, a side of potato latkas and two coffees. That was enough for three people (though they do have lighter options). Really friendly service too. Bill came to 35 dollars so decent value. Highly recommended, just come hungry and forget about the diet.

A nice food joint, that as someone from NYC was very accurate in its cuisine and new York flair

Good Morning! After watching 4 season of Seintfield I had to try Ruben for my self. Oh brother and it was amazing. Bagels are next to nothing as well. Recommended!

This is a very hipster joint, and as such the food doesn't disappoint. I couldn't bring myself to have the Elvis Presley (banana, peanut butter, etc. on waffles) but instead settled on the hash - it was amazing. I will probably be back tomorrow for the Presley! Edit: I did go back. The Presley didn't disappoint either.

Brisket with eggs and cornbread was the perfect way to start the day. Melt in your mouth meat and eggs were amazing. Massive pot of tea to wash it down which was plenty to share for two people.

We finally made it to sit-down for breakfast after the restrictions started to be lifted. Lots of gluten free options for my wonderful wife and I loved the beef brisket.

Loved this place so much we came twice within a week! Staff were all lovely, coffee top quality, and the food was delicious & serving generous. Highly recommend the brisket on rye sandwich, or the chicken waffle if you want to go all in- the fried chicken we had was so well seasoned and crunchy!!!

Service is amazing, food even better. Just a delight to eat anything off the menu.

I'm lost for words at how AMAZING the food was here. It was all so delicious! Loved the home made lemonade too. Great friendly staff Highly recommended this place!

Mind. Blown. I don’t give 5 stars easily but I was skeptic that an expensive Philly cheesesteak will be THAT good. It is. It so is. The meat is perfect and the amount is generous. There is the perfect amount of cheese on there. I barely resisted hopping back on ubereats and ordering another delivery. I can’t wait to try other items on the menu, reuben especially!

Great little gem serving New York Style Jewish fair. I had the shakshouka which was one of the best I have had and very generous servings. Also great coffee and friendly and attentive staff. Will definitely be back on my next visit to Melbourne.

Chilled coffee stop with a nice long communal table. Coffee is consistently good and you get a little chocolate too!

Had the shakshuka eggs and my partner had the southern south chicken waffles. Both were absolutely delicious, with an excellent balance of flavours and heaps of food! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, with a deep knowledge of all the menu items. Worth a visit!

Friendly and helpful staff! We were seated quickly and our order taken within five minutes. I got the Elvis waffles and they were just incredible. I had worried they might be overly sweet but they were a perfect balance and I haven't stopped thinking about them since! The chicken waffles were also incredible. The potato latkes were good, just not the right dish to choose on a colder day perhaps!

Cherished this spot. Staff are well disposed and set desires for you toward the beginning. Have somewhat of a comical inclination too which is constantly a decent sign there making the most of their activity. We had the bagels which albeit a little pricey, where scrumptious. Incredible spot for a nibble in the city.

Amazing food, cozy place and the food portion is worth the price! I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

The staff are very friendly and the food is good but not great. Don't think of it as being genuinely New York and you'll enjoy it more. The seating is great if you're young, hip and don't mind yelling across the table while eating breakfast. Not ideal if you're with someone with accessibility issues. The coffee is weak and Milky (which might be how you like it, but they'll charge you the price of an extra coffee if you need to add a shot for flavour.

Nice staff, fine atmosphere & good coffee, but was disappointed with the fried chicken & waffles. Seemed like fatty chicken, batter was soft & greasy and didn't taste too good

Melbourne is known for its great eateries-sadly this was one of the worst eating experiences we’ve ever had as visitors to Melbourne. Split milk coffee, frozen fruit with granola, diabolical rubber scrambled eggs... please take our advice and skip this as a breakfast option when there are so many better options in the city.
