Great experience made even better by lovely staff. The food was very high quality with fresh ingredients. We shared 3 pizzas and a pasta between 6. This suited well as we had coffee and shared dessert too. Online booking was easy and we wouldn't hesitate to come again.

People recommended this pizzeria in the city so I gave it a try. Not bad I got pizza and a garden salad. The red wine is a nice local Pinot Noir from Geelong and also got their Prosecco 🍕🥗🍷 (Second visit) Nice Montepulciano by the glass here 🍷 But I really wasn’t impressed by this pizza. It’s the +39 pizza at @39pizzeria. I think they’ve made a mistake putting mascarpone on a pizza, especially this much, as it’s sickly sweet and makes the whole pizza soggy and un pizza like. The other thing is that the Gorgonzola cheese doesn’t go well with these other ingredients either. The other ingredients on the pizza were fine. Prosciutto and sausage and the base is ok. Maybe their other less expensive pizzas are better 🍕

Been there few times before, and this time we ordered linguine and I am pretty sure the pasta noodle itself going bad. Asked the waitress to double check and they said it’s normal because of the sauce. But sauce itself didn’t taste any sour. Hope they can make sure their food quality before serving it

🍤 prawns & zucchini 🍕 margherita 🍝 salmon ravioli 🎃 zucca pumpkin & italian sausage 🍅 lasagne croquette 🧀 stracciatella cheese dip 🍄 truffled mushroom dip 🥩 beef bresaola carpaccio 🥗 radicchio treviso 🏠: @39pizzeria 📍: Little Bourke St, Melbourne 📝: Have you visited +39 Pizzeria yet? They’ve got a branch in the city as well as Toorak. Do you know that the name of the pizzirra, +39, came from the international dialling code for Italy. Just how cute is that! ❤️: Visited twice in a month because their pizzas were just so good! The best part is they even have an option for you to order dips (pesto, cheese, mushroom & truffle) to eat with the pizza crusts. I definitely recommend the 🥒🍤 Prawn & Zucchini Pizza as well as the 🎃 Pumpkin Pizza. They were DELISH 😍

Fantastic pizza joint close to Hardware Lane. Large choice of pizzas as well as pasta dishes and daily specials. Great wine selection. Service was very fast, friendly and professional, even though the place was very busy. People queuing up to get in so do yourself a favour and book. No split bills. Surcharge for non cash payments.

Glad to live just a few blocks from this gem! One of the best pastas I had in many years! Parpadelle: the red wine taste in the end was special! The pizza was very good too, we had the Wagyu one - delicious lemon touch. For dessert make sure you order the Raspberry Panacotta! Service was very friendly and fast, atmosphere is of a classic cantina italiana! Highly recommend if you’re after good food

This is a lovely little Italian pizzeria. They have an extensive menu and the quality of ingredients is excellent. Ordered two white pizzas. The Wagyu pizza is truly unique and I would recommend over any other. Every other pizza is a standard pizza you can find anywhere. Service was great. Overall, this was a lovely experience and feel like a little Italy.

Loved the food here. It was one of the best pizzas I have ever had. Pros: 1. Super yummy pizza, thin crust. We ordered Tartufata pizza with pesto dip. We were also offered chilli oil which made the pizza even more delicious 🤤 2. Nominal pricing. Areas of improvement/challenges: 1. Their reservation system had some other language other than English which made it harder to reserve. But thankfully they had an opening for us. 2. The table setting is too closed up. The table for two barely had any space for keeping mobile phones. But, it also prompted us to keep our mobile phones inside and just enjoy the delicious pizza. Maybe it's a conscious decision!?!

The mushroom pizza was my fav, the wagyu pizza was a bit underwhelming. The rest of the dishes were okay, the apple pie was great though! Overall positive although it's a little expensive. It also wouldn't be not worth the wait if there's a queue around, book in advance if possible as it can get crowded and there's not much seating space. Staff were nice and friendly, there's also a clean toilet at the back.

I had one of the best mushroom pizzas of my life here. They have got such delicious options. We also had Rose and some sparkling wine which was divine. Eggplant parmigiana waa tasty however small portion. And our most favorite was the dessert- Tiramisu. I’d go back in a heartbeat!

For the past 15 years, +39 Pizzeria in Melbourne's CBD has been my sanctuary for authentic Italian pizza, securing its place as one of my go-to spots. The quality of pizza here is nothing short of amazing, consistently delivering on taste and authenticity that's hard to find elsewhere. What sets +39 Pizzeria apart is their innovative approach to the menu, periodically introducing new pizzas to keep the dining experience exciting. A recent standout has been the potato, port sausage, and rosemary pizza—a culinary masterpiece and arguably one of the best pizzas I've enjoyed in Melbourne. This creation exemplifies their commitment to unique flavors and high-quality ingredients. The establishment also boasts a decent selection of wines and beers, complementing the dining experience with a variety of options to suit different tastes. It's a thoughtful addition that elevates the meal beyond just pizza. Admittedly, the prices of pizzas have seen an increase over time, a change that's noticeable for a regular diner like myself. However, the unwavering quality of their offerings justifies the cost, ensuring that each visit is as satisfying as the last. I highly recommend +39 Pizzeria to anyone in Melbourne seeking an exceptional pizza experience. The combination of delicious, innovative pizzas, a well-curated drink list, and the consistent quality over the years makes it a standout dining destination. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it's a must-visit for an authentic taste of Italy in the heart of the city.

Excellent pizza, mixture of buffalo mozzarella, prosciutto and tomato salsa. Flavour is sublime and brings out the authentic Italian flavour. The pastas were also excellent, lobster linguine the most balanced and exciting of the tastebuds one can have and the lobster strings melt in your mouth. The marinara was cooked to perfection too.

+39 is simply the best pizzeria I have ever visited. They provide over the top quality in every aspect of a dining experience. Their service as soon as you enter the greeting is friendly , the atmosphere is authentic, and the food (pizza, why else go to a pizzeria?) PHENOMENAL. When asking the wait staff anything from opinion/suggestion to menu suggestions they are on point. +39 you’ve made the journey of eating my way through Melbourne a delectable dining delight. As the terminator said, I’LL BE BACK.

One of the best pizzas I’ve had in Melbourne. High quality ingredients and the idea of a dipping sauce for the crusts is a great idea. Loved it and will make excuse to come back again

I truly commend this restaurant for consistently delivering outstanding high-quality food and service. Lovely staff, nice atmosphere, great menu choices: you can tell a lot of love is regularly poured into this place. I highly recommend any of their pizza (the dough is perfect!) or pasta dishes. I come weekly to the restaurant in the city to have linguine marinara (seafood pasta) and my San Pellegrino aranciata. The food is so appetizing and the service is great. The place is packed even on a Monday so it's essential to make a booking so as not to be disappointed.

Had a great Christmas lunch here. Great food and great service and great value. I had the Fiore di late and mushroom pizza. It was delicious. People raved about the risotto and the gnocchi too. There was a free glass of wine with every main and I broke my alcohol drought and had a glass of proseco. It was fresh and crisp. All in all it was a positive experience and I'm very likely to go back.

Great place for some wood fired pizza. Pizzas are very fresh when they come out and just taste so great, wouldn't want to be sitting there and not eating. No complaints for the pizza. Plenty of these fantastic places around in the city Located in smaller alley in the CBD, this place can be packed, best you book. Interior and table spaces are quite tight, so be careful when ordering a bunch of items. If you're someone who needs a bit of space or need a pace when eating, this is not for you. Pictured is the prosciutto and capricciosa pizzas.

We walked in 8pm on a Thursday night, lucky to get a spot! Ace service, waiter was kind and we got little chocolates at the end when we we paid, super fast with bringing out the dishes too!! We got the lasagna croquettes to start as well as the beef carpaccio 😮‍💨 the dressing on the carpaccio was delicious, sweet, savory, tangy from the vinegar, and the ever so slightly bitter rocket just went so so well together!!! The lasagna croquettes are definitely something I can get around and would love it if they did a take home version where I can cook them at home, paired with the marinara, was just the right amount of sauce so that it wasn’t too dry and the inside was piping hot, and cheese perfectly melted! PIZZAS 🍕 We got the truffle mushroom pizza and the signature +39 Pizza! My fav was the mushroom, so fragrant in truffle and absolutely delicious bites of mushroom too, if you are a mushroom lover, this will definitely hit the spot! And the spots of gorgeous cheese just paired insanely well My partner LOVED the +39 Pizza, I thought the mushroom was better but each to their own! He said it blew his mind, I thought it was nice, prosciutto nice and soft easy to break, and the little dollops of Gorgonzola was so creamy, and we usually don’t like blue cheese but this just 👌🏻 And too much for 2 people so of course we took some away! Can’t wait to have it tomorrow

Been wanting to visit this place for ages based on recommendations from so many and it finally ended up being an unplanned night out that brought us to taste the amazing food at this place. The food is just soooooo good, yummiest pizza at it's authentic best that I've tasted in a long long time and the pasta and desserts were good too! Will be back for more no doubt..

Stumbled upon this restaurant while looking for a place to eat on a late Saturday afternoon. Ordered the risotto and +39 pizza to share; pizza was simply amazing with generous ingredients and a lovely light crust. Risotto was top-quality too, moreton bay bugs was fresh, melt-in-your-mouth and bisque was just delicious! Delightful experience.

Ordered a wonderful patate salsiccia pizza with a side order of garlic focaccia based on the recommendation of a friend who highly rated +39 over a recommendation I had made. I was pleasantly proven wrong, the dough was beautifully stretched and the mouth feel with every bite laden with great toppings was great! Reducing one star for the priciness but I have a feeling I'm going to be adding it back in the future. You've found yourself a repeat customer!

Updated from 5 years ago. The food was very good. The pizza dough looked dense but pillowy with a nice chew and strangely could almost melt in your mouth. Had +39 pizza and the flavour combination was very nice. The dollops of cream on top were nice additions to the pizza. The tagliatelle was al dente with a good flavour of mushroom and truffle, seasoned very well. My favourite was the rocket salad (specifically the dressing), love love love it. Also had a plain garlic bruschetta which was nice and doughy too. Lastly, their Orange fizzy drink, it was delicious. Service was attentive and friendly. The place was bustling for a Saturday lunch time but I think probably not as packed as it was 5 years ago. Will definitely return.

I recently dined at +39 Pizzeria and had an absolutely delightful experience! The staff at this restaurant are truly exceptional, and I couldn't be happier with their service. Initially, I encountered a small issue with the pasta I ordered—it was a bit chewy. Being unfamiliar with the authentic Italian way of eating pasta, I was taken aback. However, the staff at +39 Pizzeria were incredibly understanding and accommodating. They kindly offered to replace the pasta with a more well-cooked option or let me choose from their selection of delicious pizzas. I decided to go with their +39 Pizza, and it was a culinary delight! The flavors were simply amazing, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Overall, my experience at +39 Pizzeria was fantastic. The staff's attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction impressed me. If you're looking for an authentic Italian dining experience in Melbourne, I highly recommend +39 Pizzeria. The food is top-notch, the ambiance is welcoming, and the service is outstanding. Thank you, +39 Pizzeria, for providing me with a memorable dining experience. I will definitely be back for more!

It's a popular restaurant, so it gets very crowded at dinner time. The restaurant had a good atmosphere. The freshly baked pizza was delicious and the tagliatelle tasted really great. We had a great evening thanks to the friendly staff and great food.

The pizzas were great. The place was very busy during dinner. Maybe there weren’t enough staff on the evening we went, it felt like the service wasn’t quite attentive enough. No one came around to ask if we wanted another round of drinks or dessert after we finished our main, so we probably left earlier and spent less than what we would have otherwise.

The line out the front was a giveaway of quality. The staff are very friendly and efficient, smiling the whole time. The pizzas are as good as it gets. When the food arrives you think it could be a small pizza but given how perfect it is you soon realise you might not finish. So tasty so filling. One of the very best pizzas I have had

We were in a group of 5 walk ins and were seated in about 5 minutes. The staff were very accommodating and polite despite being absolutely humming for a Thursday evening. We ordered a few pizzas from the specials board and a few off the menu including Soppressa, Crudaiola, Prawn & Zuchinni. Absolutely delicious! I’d love to come back and try the rest of the menu.

The food was serviceable, definitely not worth the price. One pasta was over cooked, the other was over seasoned and the pizza was soggy. The only dish with nil issues was the lasagna. FYI there’s a 10% surcharge (not properly communicate by the restaurant) for weekend in addition to card surcharge. Probs the worse squid ink pasta dish I had in recent years.

There’s a genuine welcome upon arrival and the fact that +39 is so busy is testament to the quality of the experience you can look forward to. Plenty of people were having the pizza, which looked delicious, but do yourself a favour and try the lasagna. The pasta and filling were spot on and the crispy top finished it perfectly. There’s a great selection of wines to pair with your meal too. I was in and out very quickly, which suited me well but others seemed to be enjoying a more relaxed meal. Well worth a visit.

Good pizzas Italian classic pizzas, both red and white. I would rank my red pizza 3,5/5 and the white pizza 3/5. Good but not extraordinary. The best thing about this place is the vibe. It feels authentic Italian and they have a great selection of typical beers and spirits. Recommend!

+39 Pizzeria was very busy when we got there but we were lucky to get a seat! It was rather rowdy and noisy but aside from that, it was a good experience! We ordered 2 pizzas, the +39 and the Soppressa. Both were great and the crust was crispy. The next table was having a pasta and it smelt awesome so much so that we had to order one as well. It was the truffle mushroom carbonara . It was fragrant and very good. We enjoyed our meal there and the service staff were efficient and friendly as well.

From when I pressed “submit order” button to when the pizza arrived, 6 minutes had gone by. Allowing 1-2 minutes for transportation, that means the pizza I had was made in 4 minutes. What $23 pizza is made in 4 minutes. But let’s just ignore that for a second. The pizza itself is pretty big, fills two people. Nice. But the flavor wasn’t present at all. Just salty. I was originally going for a pizza from another place I’m used to (and love!) then switched last minute to this, which I really regret. We had the mushroom pizza btw, disappointing. Overall I don’t recommend.

A lovely little restaurant in the heart of Melbourne. The menu is small bit they do each item well. Had the lasagne which was delicious, it had many layers, much more than you'd see in a traditional lasagne. Others in my party had pizza which was wood fired and looked so appetising. Dessert was the standout dish. I could've eaten more of it. Would definitely like to come back again in the future.

Delicious meats and pizza. One of the best Italian places in Melbourne. Check it out

Outstanding pizzas as always! Nice atmosphere but slightly cramped. Love how their pizzas taste fresh out of the oven every time. Generous with the flavourful toppings too. Hard to pick my favourite because all their pizzas are on point 👌 - #melbfoodiemark #39pizzeria

Pizza is their main push and it's obvious why! The base is nice and soft but with a bite as well as the quality of the toppings being superb. Lots of pizzas to choose from but also provide a few pastas too. Great vibes and exceptional service. Booking or going early is a must as it gets packed quite quickly!

The pizzas there were phenomenal, the waitress with the red hair went above and beyond with her service!

It wasn't worth the money for the vege pizza, it was kinda dead in looks. The taste wasnt great and lacked that joy in having it.

The italian destination of Melbourne. The surrounding atmospheric is like a big warm hug. Fell in love with the delectable food and wine. The staff were so welcoming and warm!! I suggest getting thé carpaccio for sure, as well as the Crudaiola pizza. I couldn’t recommend this place more🤎

The pizza was very delicious. I am amazed by the punch of mushroom flavour that you get every bite. I thought the white base would be on the heavier side, but I was very wrong! It was absolutely delicious. The crusts were also crispy and wonderfully toasted. The gnocchi was my favorite out of the two. They were very tender and I absolutely love the sauce. It was zingy and refreshing. The cherry tomatoes added bursts of sweetness. I loved how they paired it up with some mozzarella. An absolute treat.

Pizza was good but the signature lamb ragu pasta was too bland. We added some salt and it tasted better after.

I walk by most every day and finally stopped in for a pizza. Glad I did. Pizza was delicious. And topped it off with a tiramisu and grappa!

Great pizza, Italian style. Puffy edge and thin middle. Quality ingredients. Staff was a bit late with my wine but oh well..no big deal. Give it a try but get something traditional / gourmet!!

Pizza was pretty good, we had the Diavoli I think. Lamb ragu pasta was tad bit disappointing the pasta was really bland although the lamb is tender.

Good. But the pizza was a bit salty for my taste. We also tried the mushroom truffle sauce because Google reviews raved so much about it but it was a bit overrated. It was nice but not insane.

The food was fantastic, it's easily the best Italian dinner and dessert I've had for a long time.

This place is incredible. After hunting around for some pizza joints in the city we decided to come here for my Dad's birthday. Firstly the wait staff here are incredible, they joked along with us and gave the place a great vibe. The pizzas were amazing. Authentic, home made dough, fresh toppings, incredible variety. The staff found out it was my Dad's birthday and surprised us with a tiramisu with a candle!! We came for what I thought would be delicious pizzas and we were greeted with that and so much more! Our experience was fantastic and I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. Thank you for the wonderful dinner!

I was lucky enough to get a table during peak dinner service the other night and had a great time. We ordered the Margherita and Prawn & Zucchini pizzas and while they were slightly soggy in the center, they had great flavour. The star dish of the night though was their Lasagna. Well portioned, rich and cheesy, what more do you need. Would definitely visit again, preferably with a booking 😅

Amazing pizza right in the centre of the CBD. Smashed it so fast that I barely remembered to get a pic! (so our half eaten VIP pizza will have to do you!) Do NOT underestimate the pizza crust dipping sauces!! These are an absolute game changer for pizza....why isn't everyone doing this! It meant we could have the buffalo motz VIP, plus still get a mushroom hit with the shroom +truffle dipping sauce! Mega win. Desserts were simply, traditional, and delicious. I can't believe I've walked past this place heaps of times going to all the outdoor shops on Lt Bourke..... I'm so glad to have found it now.

We had Italian on our mind and we found this place in Melbourne CBD. The staff is very respectful, he spoke to us and helped us place an order. The menu is small, and it avoids some confusion - I am a big fan of small menus. We ordered VIP (Very Italian Pizza) and Tartufata. Pizzas turned out too good. I personally liked both. However, others loved VIP more. I am not used to eating such Pizzas & I simply loved each bite of it. I should’ve also tried the chefs special which was written on wall. Hopefully, I try it again when I visit Melbourne.

I ordered Mushroom cream pizza and lasagna. Lasagna was more that good, but about pizza, it was one of the best I have had in melbourne. Very good crust, well managed cooking temp and beloved mushroom sauce. So happy about experience

Look no further if you're craving an authentic Neapolitan pizza experience. I have tried numerous pizzas with both red and white bases, and they have consistently surpassed my expectations. The same applies to their focaccia—opt for the buffalo mozzarella topping; trust me, you'll be grateful later. That being said, the pastas at this place don't quite match the deliciousness of their pizzas. Additionally, the ambiance can get quite noisy, and on weekend nights, you may find yourself waiting in a queue.

We have had the pleasure of visiting on numerous occasions, and each time has been nothing short of delightful. The warm ambiance, attentive staff, and delicious food never fail to impress us. In light of our positive experiences, we recently made the decision to bring my mother and aunt, who are visiting from overseas. We started our day early and, by dinner time, our appetites were eagerly anticipating a truly satisfying meal. We began our dining experience by indulging in some refreshing beverages. I, personally, opted for an Aperol spritz which truly hit the spot. Additionally, we ordered a bottle of red wine as well as two non-alcoholic drinks to suit our individual preferences. To kickstart our meal, we opted for two salads - a rocket and radicchio variety. Both salads were exceptionally well-prepared, but if I had to choose a favorite, I must admit my preference lies with the rocket salad. The flavors were wonderfully balanced, leaving us craving for more. Ofcourse no visit to +39 is complete without sampling the thin crust pizza. We decided on three different flavors - the classic margherita, the VIP, and I believe the +39. The pizza game is undeniably strong; however, the margherita truly stood out as the absolute favorite amongst our party. The simplicity of the ingredients combined with the perfect balance of flavors created a truly memorable culinary experience. The quality of the food, the attentiveness of the staff, and the inviting atmosphere all contribute to making this establishment a true gem.

+39 Pizzeria CBD in Melbourne… is a true Pizzeria with an atmosphere of Italian trattoria 🇮🇹 Everything is said in the name … this the place with a multiple choice of pizzas 🍕 which look and smell very very good ! Unfortunately I went for Caprese and Pasta 🍝 Good but not excellent… you could clearly feel that their main business is pizzas 😉 Desserts are excellent 😋 Nice service with Italian accent … but if you are not into pizza … you will not be the priority of the service. But will still recommend the place … and would have to come back … one day … for pizza 🤣
