Burger project is tucked away in a corner on the top floor of Collins Lane. The burgers were made fresh and fast. I should of read the menu board more carefully but the classic does not come standard with cheese. The burger itself is not bad. The patty was not overly seasoned , the salad was fresh and the buns were soft. Update May 18: Came back and tried the cheese burger. It's amazing how much a slice of cheese can change a burger. Patty was cooked perfectly pink in the middle. Chocolate thick shake was also very good!

Tasty burgers. Nice balance between moist patty, crisp bacon and crunch of lettuce and pickles. Popular at lunch so expect a wait. Seems burgers are the big thing in town at the moment with multiple choices in a 2 block radius. I do recommend this place.

Fresh food, made to order. Chocolate thickshake was THICK. Amazing. Burgers taste like real food. Location is away from the city noise and crowds which is great. Two of us couldn't get through our lunch, too much food!

I had the Bacon burger, which was okay (the salt from the bacon was over powering), and the Mrs had the mushroom burger (delicious). I paid an extra seven dollars for a small soft drink and chips. Which brings me to prices - they're a little gold plated. BUT, you're paying for location, so it's definitely worth a visit.

Great tasting burgers, cooked well on the outside and a little pink and tender on the inside. Very juicy patty’s and comes with the low carb (no bun and more lettuce) option for those curious. Chips are well seasoned and a deserving side along with this meal. Fast enough service and gets busy during weekday lunch due to its location.

Tried the cheeseburger deluxe $11.90 with added smoked bacon $3 extra. On first seeing the burger, it appeared quite small, but the taste made up for this. The flavour of the meat Pattie (grass fed Cape Grim beef) was excellent, as was the bacon and relish. Overall a pretty good burger. Burger project is on top floor of Collins Lane Mall in the newish food court area.

Great tasting burgers, the beef patty was of excellence quality and cooked to perfection. Value for money is ok, just wish the burgers were a little bigger. Plenty of seating available, service was lacking though as some of the tables weren't cleared for some time. I recommend the American burger, great combination of flavours.

If only there was 2.5 stars. Was happy last time with cheese burger. This pecking chicken isn't what you expect. Chicken was nice and crispy. But there was little hoisin sauce. But was so thin. I didn't want green onion and asked for extra cucumber instead which came to $1 extra. I didn't expect the cucumber to be pickles. Try other menu, just don't buy this one, it was a waste of $15.90 👎

Only had the basic cheeseburger. Satisfactory without any distinctive traits to others. Meat tender and juicy, not overcooked or too thin, brioche style bun complimented nicely but seemed no different to buns you can get at supermarket. I'm not a family of onions, but that's a personal preference. Would have no complaints returning but given the marketing around this being a prestige burger, left a little disappointed.

I had the Mushroom burger with chips. Burger taste good, not soggy just nice. The chips was okay... not the best I have had. The price is ok. but the size is a little small. we (my friend and I) were still hungry afterward. We reckon that we can eat 2 burgers.

The food is definitely very good you can see in the photo the place is very nice the design also is great the staff are all wonderful the kitchen is an open system no doubt the burger patties are really wonderful juicy and the beef is really tasty but a bit expensive because the beer is very rare fine agreed mate must drink with great wine or red beer they have white wine and red wine together with burger which is very unique it is never been seen in our country before but really funny halfway almost finishing my food that is a hungry mouse running out perhaps you want to eat the dinner also. See the little mouse mice RATTATOUIEE !!! LOL this is hilarious but the burger is one of the best o ever tasted I never go for the Fries. Overall tip top. And who cares about the hungry little mouse running around LOL
