My favourite favourite favourite pizza restaurant! I've dined here many times now and always leave happy and satisfied. The pizzas are so full of flavour and there are so many delicious options on the menu. The bases are thin and crispy and not doughy like many other pizza restaurants. My go-to pizzas would have to be 'Da Guido' (for the mushroom lovers) and 'Scampi di Mare' (for the seafood lovers). Oh and the service is impeccable, staff are so friendly and attentive. I cannot recommend this place enough!!

Best pizza I’ve ever had in Australia! It brought my tastebuds back to Venice! Amazing service ! The pizza was authentic beautiful, fresh, Light, thin and crispy. I ordered the Parmigiana. Pasta was also very good parpadelle mushroom and sausage. Affordable prices too! Probably the cheapest u can get for the quality.

The best Italian I've ever had! I've been to alot of Italian restaurants in Australia and my friend has been to many in Italy and this tops them all. The service is second to none and always have perfect recommendations on food and wine. Then the wine arrives to the table and one glass goes a long way. The pizza was exquisite and the pastas are perfect portion sizes. The family run vibe this restaurant gives make you feel welcome! Definitely a stop if your ever in Melbourne. Cannot recommend highly enough. Fair pricing aswell.

The staff and the dining environment are nice, but the reason why I give one star is because of the food. I ordered a $36 seafood pasta which was recommended by one of the staff members, the portion is a bit small for it's price, but I am fine with that, however the pasta was undercooked. It was clearly undercooked rather than cooked it in an 'authantic italian style'. I even asked my friend to try as well and she agreed with me. I ended up only eating the seafood on the top and barely touch the pasta.

I ordered the ravioli to be delivered. I was really disappointed as it's over $40 when you factor in the delivery fee and service fee and I was left very hungry afterwards. Maybe charging $35 is acceptable when you are sitting in a restaurant and getting attended to by a waiter but this is a ridiculous price to charge for one or two handfuls of ravioli squares. The sauce is butter based as well and butter is hardly an expensive ingredient. There are several other reviews complaining about price or serving size so maybe they need to reduce the price for home delivery vs having it the same as dine in.

Service is absolutely fantastic and so is the food, dessert and coffee. You get the full authentic Italian experience. Amazing, friendly and funny staff.

when you walk in the door you are instantly greeted by Italian servers. the atmosphere was lovely, cosy and ambient. it would be perfect for a date. the food was quite good. for the price the servings were reasonable. the highlight was the pizza, as all the cured meats on it tasted rich and delicious. the only thing i would say is that the food sat on the counter for quite a while, and when it reached us it was not that hot. the pesto was very rich, a little bitter but it was quite nice. the carbonara was cheesy and creamy. overall it was a lovely experience and the kind service made it all the more better.

While residing in Australia, I stumbled upon this charming Italian bistro while in route to another popular spot nearby in Melbourne. If only using one word to describe it that word would be welcoming. Like being invited into a modem Italian home for dinner. The candlelit ambiance-inviting. The welcoming in greetings by hardworking passionate staff. The wholesome delicious food to warm your belly. And for those that follow me, Italian cuisine is not my top choice but more experiences like this one and that just might change.

Came in for a birthday dinner and everything was perfect. The waiter was extremely kind and helpful, inside of the restaurant was gorgeous and had a great late night atmosphere. Sitting down we were offered between water or sparkling, we also were given complimentary bruschetta to start off which was really nice. We had the Margherita pizza and Lasagna, both of which I highly recommend!! Absolutely delicious and fulfilling. For drinks, their homemade limoncello!!

Da Guido 365 is one of the finest Italian Resturants in Melbourne. Everything was exceptional from the food to the staff and atmosphere. The meal at Da Guido 365 was easily the highlight of our holiday to Melbourne and was so good we returned the following night to celebrate our final night in Melbourne before returning home. If you're travelling to Melbourne or a local you can't go past Da Guido 365 for top quality food and friendly and attentive service. We'll definately be back.

The wait staff here are phenomenal and the atmosphere is lovely, unfortunately the food wasn't as great as we were hoping. We were given complimentary focaccia to start and it was amazing, however when the main meals came out they ended up being a bit disappointing. The flavours just didn't quite hit. I would probably visit again simply because the wait staff were so friendly, but next time I'd try a pizza instead of the pasta.

Truly exceptional experience last night. The service was absurdly good - enthusiastic and perfectly timed making us feel very welcome. The current special "deep fried calzones" was an all time highlight for me. It was unlike anything I've ever tried before and is right up there with my all time favourite dishes. Hard to describe but like a beautiful child of a traditional calzone and fried dumpling. The squid ink linguine was also exceptional, the calamari ragu is quite unique. Definitely on my "must go back" list. This place NAILED it.

Nice little somewhat hidden Italian restaurant. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They happily answered any questions we had in regards to the menu. They even gave us a small complementary entree to share which was lovely. I ordered the San Daniele with buffalo mozzarella and it was very nice. A friend ordered the Cacio e Pepe and she really enjoyed that too. We enjoyed our lunch here.

We’ve been to this place on a Friday night, and no booking was necessary to have a table available for this amazing experience that we had. The staff was friendly and a nice manu of food and wines. Starting with a cured meat plate and garlic bread. It was a delicious select of meat and well amount of food. After that, we had a delicious beef ravioli and the best carbonara ever! Both dishes was super tasty, perfect texture, juicy and creamy for carbonara. Totally recommend this place for a great Italian dinner in the city.

A real surprise and somewhere I’m looking forward to visiting again. I brought my mother and her friend here for dinner and it was so good - the service was fantastic, friendly without being overbearing and you can see that they care about the food they serve. We had an incredible mushroom and truffle cream pizza, a homemade Macheroni pasta and a tiramisu (usually don’t eat dessert but why not when you are having a great time) - all rounded out with a bottle of Soave recommended by the waiter. The fitout reminded me of being in a modern restaurant in Italy - it’s comfortable, not pretentious and somewhere to go as a regular visit. Thank you guys. Really impressed from someone who doesn’t always get impressed!! 😅

We discovered Da Guido as one of the few Italian places open after 9 pm. When we arrived, a man seated us without much enthusiasm, and the overall welcome from him and the server wasn't the greatest. The restaurant's interior felt rather empty, and even though we were among the few patrons there, it took a while to get acknowledged by the server to take our orders. The server presented the option of still or sparkling water, we chose sparkling but were surprised when she brought us branded sparkling water instead of what we expected—more of a tap sparkling water. We ordered a pear salad and a Capricciosa pizza, along with house bread that felt a bit like a joke, as we received two very small pieces of bread. The salad was passable, nothing special, and the pizza was similarly underwhelming, a bit more chewy than desired. After finishing our meal, it took an extended period to receive the bill, and I had to stand up to initiate the payment. The server appeared disinterested in serving us, which was a significant letdown, especially considering the generally positive reviews this restaurant has received.

What a shame. This place looked great and the atmosphere was welcoming. However the food let it down badly. I only eat fish when I’m out and I have never, in thousands of meals, had to ask “so where’s the fish”? The serving was minuscule, I’d guess 200 grams at most( probably more like 150), which for $49 was a bit rude. I asked the waiter/maybe manager? who said quite aggressively “it’s a regular size serve”. Sorry buddy, it’s not. He did offer to take $10 off (and told me not to cause trouble and to leave it alone!) which to me also indicated that they knew full well it was a tiny serve, and I probably wasn’t the first to complain. He was quite rude about it too which didn’t help. It did taste ok but literally five small bites and it was gone. They also offered a special of the night red wine which was fine but at $18 a glass (forgot to mention that to us!) it should have been. More fool us for not checking that price first. Overall a very disappointing experience, would not recommend and would not return.

The food was amazing, the service was excellent, I will definitely be recommending this place to others. I’d say this is the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to. Only minor thing is the serving sizes were a little small for my partner who’s eats bigger portions but I found it perfect.

The waiters was really kind and we enjoyed their service!! We liked The atmosphere and the design of the restaurant, but we expected for better dishes from Italian restaurant- we took the "San daniele" pizza and the "maccherony all' amatriciana". The pasta was cooked perfectly (al dante) and the pizza dough was very good as well, but we didn't like how the topping was served - the prosciutto pieces was to big and it was hard to separate the slices from each other. the pasta's sauce was basic and boring. same about the tiramisu "guido" - was tasty, but we expected something more special.

I found this amazing restaurant on Trip Advisor and we walked easily from our accommodation in Collins Street to find the best food, best service and lovely atmosphere!

Looks a bit like a cafe/bistro but is actually a casual restaurant. Took away penne amatriciana during lockdown. The pasta itself was of high quality, al dente with a nice bite and flavour to it. The amatriciana sauce was also tasty and full of fresh tomatoes and italian style ham. Prices reasonable. Friendly service. All in all highly recommend this little laneway gem.

Lively, fun atmosphere and great service. The owner is so charming and made everyone, including kids, feel special. The food was typically Italian with complimentary olives, dip and bread being a nice touch. Because the staff seem to be enjoying themselves it makes you feel happy and the whole experience makes you want to go back again. We were visiting from Perth but we felt just as at home as we do in our local Italian restaurant. Definitely worth a visit if you're staying in Melbourne.

Fantastic professional and friendly service by the Italian gentleman, food displayed perfectly on arrival and tasted wonderful. Gorgeous pizza base and generous with toppings, my oasta dish was delicious, filled with a rich creamy sauce of salmon and zucchini. My only gripe was I felt the pasta had a little too much bite. Needed an extra minute or 2 of cooking. Wonderful menu that provides enough detail and options for additions. Nice space to relax for a while in. I'd love to see a specials board for maybe an entre and main option that changes around but there are suggestions not requirements. Great as it is.

I came here in July and had the most amazing dinner with my partner. The spinach and ricotta gnocchi was INCREDIBLE, as well as the four cheese pizza, and the complimentary bruschetta. Guido 365 is an inviting and bright space. I enjoyed this place a lot, people working there are friendly but not too in your face. The gentleman working there is really friendly (and has good taste in music) and the food was extremely fast (5-10) minute wait. We ordered a margherita and the gnocchi in Italian sauce. Very happy with our choices. My only note is that we came at 6 (opening time) so staff were setting up the restaurant still, it was a bit hard to get their attention to order but that's just a small blip. Overall, everything was lovely. Thank you guido! We'll be back

Best Pizza in Melbourne! Really nice and lovely, family owned bistro in the centre of Melbourne. We had a funny and cheerfully waiter who recommended us the pizza Diavola with N‘duja and chili oil and it was the best decision to take! I had the San daniele pizza (on the photo) and it tasted delicious, with a thin dough and fresh ingredients, like an original Italian pizza. The restaurant has also a elegant and romantic ambiente and serves a good selection of wine. The prices are totally fine for the quality and food you get, really good price-performance ratio. I can totally recommend the restaurant, we had a really good time at la guido and will definitely come again.
