I was purely astonished. Do believe the hype. This place deserves more interests. The place is spotless, well put together and excellently staffed. The meat is fresh and well seasoned enough to melt your tongue. Prices are reasonable, so it's always busy that make this place not easy to get in. But i can guarantee you will never regret to visit here.

We booked to celebrate my bday in this restaurant as we believed it has a good review on Google. Food was quite good however we all disappointed in one female staff who has a silver hair with glasses on. Firstly when we make an order she didn’t talk or confirm with us at all. No smile too. She came back to server our Bbq meats few times but we all could feel her attitude was quite cold. One of my colleague even said she has never seen a staff attitude like this in Melbourne. Other staff were very friendly except her!! At the end the korean boss came to clean our table and ask how was dinner going. I almost told her about our bad experience we had at the restaurant but that girl was nearby so I decided to keep quiet. I wish the Boss could read this review and give that staff some feedback, otherwise it wouldn’t be possible to bring us back again. By the way food was great tho.

This was my first time going to Korean BBQ. This will be a quick review. Now we chose this place based on its high review score. Turns out it’s so high because of the price extortion based on if you give the place a five star review, you get 5% off the price. There’s posters everywhere and we were asked to give a 5 star review when paying. I refused to sell my real thoughts so here we are. Food was fine. Not really my thing but the people I went with would have given it a 4 out of 5. The service was fine as well until the end when I couldn’t get anyone’s attention to get a doggy bag and find out how to pay. The table we sat at was too small for the amount of cups, plates, bowls and trays that needed to be placed on it. The water was in a plastic jug with paper cups to drink out of. Would have preferred glass ware. The price was pretty decent for a 4 person dinner. Definitely no 5 star review place.

I adore this place, from the moment we walked in to paying the bill the service was on point! We ordered the pork (2pp) set kbbq as well as the kimchi pancake, korean fried chicken and teobokki to share across 3 people. Definately too much food, would have skipped out on the teobokki next time. The pork set kbbq was delicious, the staff cooked it for us on the table beside and cut everything up and served it ~ amazing service! They also made sure we were comfortable under the aircon cause it was a hot day so really appreciate that! Thank you ❤❤ water was also consistently topped up and the food came out at perfect timings. The kbbq and fried chicken was delicious! Spot on, so were the side dishes! The kimchi pancake was a little thick to my liking but it was so stuffed with goodies that it still tasted good! The teobokki was super spicy lol, I had to take it home and add more veggies and rice cakes to it to tone down the spice but super delish! Thanks to all the staff for the amazing service! I'll be back again!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐❤❤

Best Korean food!!! The small dishes taste really good and they have bbq beef intestines with rice cake and potatoes, very CRISPY. After that, they use the oil from beef intestine to cook fried rice. MUST TRY IT!!!! They will cook it for you. It is the trend of Korean food before.

Great Korean BBQ place. Very casual atmosphere (about to be renovated they said). Large menu with many set menus which makes ordering easy. Also many gluten free options. Our main server was fantastic, so attentive, friendly and looked like she was really enjoying herself. Not sure why there are negative reviews about this place. Would go again.

We absolutely love G2 ! It’s our number one go to place, we love the pork belly in particular and the soju. The atmosphere, the service and the food is amazing. We keep coming time and time.

Incredible experience that needs to be done if you head into the CBD for a holiday. The food was amazing and it is such a cool experience to see the food being cooked right in front of you. The only thing I would advise people to be conscious about that it is a little bit expensive, but I believe that it is totally worth every dollar you pay.

The pork here was amazing! & the server was so nice & helped us cook the meat :) we got the pork set for 2 & it came with a blueberry salad which sounds weird but was super super yummy

First impress of the place was that the staff are super friendly. Eventhough they were short staffed and took longer to order our foods, they apologised many times. A few things i like about this restaurant apart from the amazing food was that the staff took their time to explain each and everyone one of the side dished, which i really appreciate. We ordered the beef and pork set, which comes with beef and pork belly, one entree, a soup, 2 bowls of rice and a variety of side dishes. It was more than enough for 2 people and we even had some left over at the end. Summary Customer service: 5/5 Food: 4/5 (though the food was amazing and the seasoning was on point, there wasnt many variations of marinated meat, only the sweet soy. Also the dipping sauce was limited to only wildly used sauce across all korean bbp restaurants and there wasnt signature dipping sauce of the restaurant. Cleanliness: 10/10 (the grill used to cook our food was spot clean to the fact it was very skiny and had lights reflecting off it) I recommend booking in advanced for larger groups, but for 2-3 people walk-in should be fine as i went on a friday night which is usually very busy. Shout out to Lucas who served our table ☺️

I would say this is the best Korean bbq place I’ve been to. It’s small but very cosy and the ambiance is nice too. We were taken care of by the professionals and didn’t have to worry about my food being burnt or undercooked. They gave us honest advice about the proportions too.

We love this place and try to go back regularly. The quality of food is well worth the price and the staff are always so friendly. Would especially recommend the meat sets and the fried chicken. As a personal preference we try to sit upstairs where possible as it is slightly more spacious and other patrons tend to not close the front door behind them.

My first Korean BBQ experience, the vibe/atmosphere is great and all the food was delicious. But it was a bit weird, they cooked the meat for you at your table so you can't really talk to the other person or reach for certain foods because the staff is literally blocking your food or obviously conversation is different if someone else is listening. Might be for insurance reason they cook it for you? I'm not sure but found that unpleasant. They also use a lot of non reusable things e.g. cups, bowls etc... just feels like you're adding a lot of waste just from one meal and make the experience feel cheap. But yes the food is good but just isn't something/an experience that I enjoyed.

Nice Korean bbq shop in the central Melbourne area , nice and friendly staff especially the lady . Ordered the set $88, which was more than enough for 2 pax The best thing is, they open till 1am on a Friday night, which is perfect for supper I found the beef to be very good, and the egg seafood pancake is very thick Although it’s a popular place, we didn’t have to make booking today

Waiters were too busy so we waited for too long for the food. Food is just ok, expensive maybe cuz of the location. There are a lot of Korean bbq restaurants out there to choose from tho.

They are a bit pricey but come with good quality meats as well. Went here to try the intestine (gopchang) and it didn’t disappoint. I totally recommend getting the kimchi fried rice which will be cooked with some leftover fat from the gopchang itself (10/10 chef’s kiss 🤌🏻). There was only one guy serving every table, he had to run here and there to cook from one table to another, to welcome new guest, and be the cashier as well. He was super friendly and helpful. You da real mvp bro.

Food and experience was great, also more affordable for the quality/ qty compared to nearby venues. Someone will cook for you if you'd prefer, or you can do it all yourself off a provided platter. Would recommend to anyone wanting a Korean BBQ experience. Be aware that this restaurant offers discounts for 5 star reviews. They are actually good enough in my opinion to not need this, but this was still the case.

Korean BBQ place conveniently located in the CBD, the food is quite pricey in comparison to its competitors however servings here come with rice plus condiments, the staff are slightly rude and dismissive however the food is soft and succulent.

The staff was so arrogant and didn’t have a service mind at all, especially the blonde-haired girl with glasses. We asked for a refill of a side dish but she expressed her facial dissatisfaction to us. She grilled our meat burnt and we saw it, and we told her that was too burnt and couldn't eat it… but she tried to hide it and didn’t apologize or do anything. So disappointed and no more for this restaurant!
