Valentine’s Day dinner $320 for 2 entrées, 2 main dish and 1 dessert to share. Portion is small, main dish Murray cod was tasteless. Service could be improved. We waited for approx. 1 hr for the entrées and when we asked the waiter, they told us that everyone is waiting. Not very satisfied for the service or food. I believe they should restructured their menu, lots to improve for them.

Pleasantly surprised with the quality of food here considering most restaurants in the casino are not that good. The only seafood dish that we ordered was calamari Spaghetti and it was delicious. The calamari was soft and the sauce complemented the calamari really well. The steak is cooked medium rare perfectly and the roasted garlic melts in your mouth giving that aromatic element to the meat. The service is attentive and very accommodating. The place is huge with seatings indoor and shaded outdoor. Food - 9 Service - 10 Vibe - 10 Price - $$$$

Went tonight as a walk in for dinner as we had heard amazing reviews about the place and my family enjoy seafood. Appetisers were great, although the service and being mislead to order the catch of the day and told it was $52 and could be shared… only to receive the bill and have a huge $280 fish on our bill and told that was what we ordered… if we had known the price of this underwhelming no tasting fish we would have never ordered it because it’s a ridiculous amount to pay for a plate! We advised the waiter of this and how bland the meal was only to be told we should have scooped juices from the bottom. Will not be returning and if anything should be refunded for the dishonesty and being mislead.

Nothing special with the food other than paying for exceptional price. Went on Fri dinner, it was full house. Pls. note any cancellation of booking required to pay 50bucks per pax. Our table ordered Wagyu beef(normal), oysters (normal),Murray cod fish (normal), snapper (good), fish and chips (normal), catch of the day which was a flounder (normal), risotto (normal). Desserts were good. The server was exceptional and I supposed it was the ambience customers are paying for, unless there's special occasion to celebrate, else we prefer to try other places with the same amount of money spent.

We celebrated our anniversary here. Nice food and great service... all the staff were so welcoming. A huge shout out to Phil (sorry I couldn't pronounce his actual name, so he said I could call him Phil), he was so lovely, he recommended the soft shell crab, which was delicious! We loved the conversation with him and he was very patient and helpful to everyone around us during our visit. He made an extra effort to make sure everyone was happy. Great experience overall!!!

I am disappointed to have to give this place such a low star. However, the customer service is so atrocious that that I have to provide this feedback. I have attempted to come here 2 times, but knocked back for ridiculous reasons. The first time I walked in with my husband a few days before Valentine’s Day and was told that the bookings wouldn’t open until the day before Valentine’s Day and therefore they wouldn’t and couldn’t take our booking. Didn’t bother. The second time I had booked and came with a friend and the food was nice. The service was average. It was relatively busy. I had made a booking for last night a night before and left them a message and also left a message on the booking to say we were seeing a show at the palm and would be late. It was 3pm and no one had called me. So I ring them and explained the situation. Mariam had advised that they could hold the table but we could only order mains and dessert. I decided it would be best to cancel as I would have liked to try their appetisers. We finished the show and decided we would actually see if they could accomodate us. I walked in at 9:25pm as the show finished earlier and said we had a booking but I cancelled it. Would it be okay for us to dine in. The lady went and asked this manager with glasses who approached us and literally said “ yiu would like a table for two?״ I said yes and explained the situation that was offered to us earlier in the day ( mind you there were still plenty of people dining) he then goes to say “oh sorry we’re closed.” Right. We left and had a three course dinner elsewhere. The next day (today) I made a booking. 2pm I got there. The waitress had a language barrier. The floor staff were clearly untrained. Pouring water from a jug she couldn’t even hold because it was so big and heavy and holding it in her hand whilst pouring. At the price you pay you expect professional wait staff. We had 4 DIFFERENT servers. Had to continuously wave them down. Ordered fresh oysters. The waitress asked if I wanted fresh or kilpattick and I said fresh. She then brings out kilpattick. I said to her I’ve asked for fresh oysters and she raised her voice at me and said “you said kilpattick!!! I ASKED YOU!!!” Ummm excuse me? I have never in my life ordered kilpatrick oysters. The wait staff waited for us to finish each course of the set menu instead of bringing it out and asking if we want it to come all together or separately. I didn’t know this was happening until I asked where the steak was. They said we are waiting for you to finish your food? I’m like it’s a shared menu and you taste the different foods? You could communicate this is what you’re doing. We finally left at 5pm 😵 that’s how long it took!!! The food was a 5 star quality. Well made, presented and tasty. But the service infuriated me. To top it off they charged me for the kilpatrick oysters and I realised after I had paid. I brought it to the waitress attention and she said “ didn’t you check the bill?” Excuse me? I think I should have enough trust that people will do the right thing. She did refund me. The octopus delicious 10/10 Salad was nothing special 3/10 The steak 10/10 The salmon with grapefruit, pomelo and orange maybe was so bland and boring 1/10 Fries were okay 6/10 Tarama with bread 10/10 Snickers dessert 10/10 After this poor customer engagement experience I won’t be recommending people to come here unless they improve their customer service. If you are happy to pay premium prices for significantly below average service. Go for it!

Dinner out after the footy in Melbourne with 6 of us. Fine dining is not something us blokes generally do. Everyone was very impressed with how good the meals were but the price was probably a match for the quality of the food but much more than we would normally pay. Those that got the lamb were very happy. I had the octopus and enjoyed that. Snickers dessert was a winner. Somewhere I will probably take the wife when next in Melbourne.

2nd time here. our special starters for CNYE: crab spring rolls and razor clams were impressive and cooked to perfection. This time I had moreton bugs with spaghettini for main. It was ok but not fantastic. My partner had the risotto but he felt underwhelmed too for the prices you pay. We loved our desserts though: cherry sour and snickers parfait. The cherry sour is delicate and not too sweet and was suggested by our waitress. Few people mentioned the music too loud on google I agree. We were here for lunch and it felt like a bar not a restaurant. You could get better reviews just by putting it down slightly. Big shout out to your staff, they are amazing, lovely and helpful. I still think it is too expensive.

We had a great experience here ordered all the small dish's and small bites which we found all delicious The hoya anchovy and chicken liver toast Stuffed zucchini flower Split grilled leader prawn And cured ora king salmon were the favorite's for us. Staff were exceptionally friendly and made the night welcoming $370 for total of 14 dishes Would recommend and definitely be back Thanks Atlantic and staff 👌

Highly recommend the experience! We overall had a great night with the food and service but it was a bit loud and express to be able to relax for an intended romantic evening for our wedding anniversary. But the food was very good (we had Kilpatrick oysters, squid ink and the Moreton bay bugs spaghettini pastas) and the waitress (from Holland) was fantastic!

Waited 1hr 45 mins for food, Warm beer, no service. Left with a huge bill and bad vibes. Won’t be back! Tried to take the Mrs out for a nice birthday dinner. Shocker of an experience! The only time we got any service was when we got up to try pay for the bill at the counter and the waitress screamed at us thinking we were trying to do a runner…🤦🏻‍♂️ No compensation either for the huge wait for food, instead got hit with extra surcharges for the meal.

My wife and I came here for dinner to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. From the moment we walked into the entrance way we were greeted by extremely friendly staff. This exceptional service continued for our whole stay. The meals were very good and the service was quick considering it was a busy weekend. Will definitely return and recommend to family and friends

Lucky me, a friend who had a birthday voucher took me to lunch. Delicious food, not big serves but very filling. The crispy skin barramundi and cauliflower couscous cooked perfectly.

From the moment we stepped through the doors we were welcomed Iike old friends ... we turned up between lunch and dinner, enticed in with the sign offering Fresh Oysters and Champagne and even though they were closed and preping for dinner service we were seated at the bar and never once treated like an "inconvenience". The oysters were so fresh and the staff so friendly and genuinely focused on making this more an experience than a meal we booked again for lunch the next day. When we arrived for lunch we were seated and within 5 minutes attended by 3 staff members, remembered by the owners and made to feel just as welcome as the day before. We ordered and enjoyed amazing fresh sea food, a to die for wine and cocktail selection and some of the best service I have ever had. As the afternoon got busier and you could see they were understaffed (as everyone is post COVID) the staff conducted themselves in a professional and courteous manner, going above and beyond to give us the most amazing dining experience The food was perfection, with every dish complementing the one before. We left and were invited to drop in later in the day, later in the day for us was approx 4.30pm, where once again we were welcomed. We sat there watching the staff once again prep for dinner service, had a couple of cocktails and then booked dinner for that evening. The second 6pm rolled around we were seated and ordered another dozen oysters and the seafood platter ..... words can not describe the purity and freshness of the seafood, it was just perfection. We had an amazing evening and felt like we had been embraced into the Atalantic Family. All the staff were professional, customer service focused and truely dedicated to their jobs. Not only will I be taking away with me memories of the most amazing seafood, I'll be taking a renewed passion for customer service. Thank you to all the staff, you have not only given me great memories but have renewed my enthusiasm towards making every customer experience the best I possibly can.

The Atlantic is one of the very few seafood restaurants in Melbourne, but it's a good one! The restaurant itself is large with good seperate rooms and outside dining options. The fitout is beautiful so a good place to impress for a work lunch or date night. The menu is beautiful with everything you would imagine from a seafood restaurant. The dishes are good sizes and have great flavour combinations. The seafood is fresh and the staff are quick, knowledgeable and friendly. A must try for any seafood lover!

Nestled in the heart of the Crown, Atlantic is renowned for its opulent ambiance and delicious seafood menu. On the recent evening of Thursday 21 September 2023, we celebrated our anniversary, ready to experience the restaurant's famed gastronomic delights. However, we encountered such a lengthy delay that the experience left a sour taste in our mouths! The lavishly decorated dining room spared no expense in creating a truly luxurious atmosphere. The dimly lit room was adorned with candlelit ornaments that cast a warm glow over the tables and it was the ideal setting for a night of fine dining. The food we finally received was a culinary marvel, and our waitress was attentive and tried her best to make up for the shortfall. Although the restaurant and food itself were amazing, as the minutes turned into an hour, and then another, the courses failed to arrive, and our growing hunger pangs and the empty plates in front of us became increasingly noticeable. Our waitress approached our table and apologised profusely for the delay, explaining that the kitchen was facing challenges due to a surge in diners. Although we understood that such situations can occur, the lack of communication and updates during the wait left us feeling somewhat neglected. Although this may have been an occasional misfortune based on staff shortages, or any other reason, the pacing of the meal meant we had to engage in conversation for close to an 1.5 hours without any food, feeling rushed to eat our meal when all the courses finally arrived. Despite the prolonged wait, Atlantic managed to salvage the evening with its delicious food and service recovery. The chef even sent out a complimentary dessert to apologise for the delay, which was a sweet gesture that helped soothe some of the frustration.

Such a fuss about this place but saying is average is already a compliment. We were 2 couples and was the first time for me.The Restaurant looks nice and classy. We stayed in the first table on the right on the outside area right next to the private area. The first bottle of wine that i asked they didn't have it...second one i asked when the waiter came to present the wine i notice was the wrong year wich he apologise but unfortunatly they didn't have the year that was specified on the wine menu wich makes me think they are in need to restok properly or re-do the intire wine list (the 2 BTL i aksek one they didnt have and the other was the wrong year),i mean...what's the point of having 200 plus wine list when then you can't keep up?! The lemons wedges that were served with the seafood were dry (were cut during the morning as mise en place preparation for the lunch and used for dinner already dried out). The deep fried scallops were so deep fried that to be honest any fish and chips can school them in how to make them. They had 3 kinds of Oysters in the menu and we order 2 dozen of each but in the end they had ran out of one of the them...when we got the bill we were overcharged 24 oysters (we had 24 and they put 48 on the bill)...an overcharging of 200 plus $ wich they fix it when we point out. The table where we were seated was right next to the little plant strip wich had a rat trap right next to my chair 4 inches from my arm. We had 2 cockroaches going around on that wall right next to tables. But the most shocking was when one of the Head Waiters that came to the table (blue Jacket with blond/ginger beard) to place the seafood cutlery...my God...this guy look like he was a bum.He smelled so bad that when he lean over and open his arm to reach the side of my plate i feel like vomit with the smell of his arm pit...he looked and smell like he didn't had a shower for a week.In the end when i went to take care of the bill just quickly went to the toillet and saw the restaurant manager going up the stairs (on the end of the corridor where the open kitchen ends) to his office i assume and when i came out i asked one of the waiters to call him that i would like to have a word with him...she came down after left me waiting for 5 minutes to tell me that he was not around anymore...disgracefull. Will not come back for sure. Consider that i'm quite tolerant as i have 20 years of hospitality under my belt...but for an expensive reataurant like this where they charge top dollar for fine dinning this place is a joke. Ps.If you think this review is to hard...if this head waiter with a beard comes to your table pay atention to his index finger and middle finger (smoking fingers) and check how yellow they are...this guy must be on a 2 packs a day the way he stinks...on a top $ restaurant the Manager needs to pay attention to these details...

We were utterly spoilt by the Ocean to Plate experience full of beautiful flavours, diverse dishes and perfectly paired wines. Looked after by Phil, we couldn't fault the hospitality throughout our generous four course meal, served with welcoming professionalism, knowledge and happiness. Many thanks for a wonderful night! Would highly recommend if wishing to celebrate a special occasion or just looking for a lovely night out.

A great place to celebrate an occasion in the heart of the Melbourne city. The Morton Bay bug rolls were excellent. The whole trout was excellent and juicy. The kilpatrick oysters were excellent. The risotto was excellent. It is on the pricier side but the dishes were faultless.

Visited The Atlantic during my Melbourne trip for lunch after It all I could say was wow!! I had the best squid ink pasta ever ! The food was top and the service impeccable 🙏 The restaurant has a lovely ambience and the staff are attentive which makes a hudge difference.

Unfortunately, although purportedly specialising in marine cuisine, the dishes are prepared to compensate for the limitations in experience that appear to constitute the kitchen. With sodium-laden pasta and saturated fish servings, it is clear that much of the natural flavour profile is not extracted, but simply substituted. The Atlantic is by no measure the culinary bastion it pretends to be.
