One of my favourite Italian restaurants. If only I could stomach more, I would have ordered more. All the dishes were amazing and super hearty. The service was exceptional. Highly recommend this place. I will definitely be back

Scopri lives up to the hype! The service is sublime and we enjoyed the atmosphere. The food is unreal, probably some of the best calamari I've ever had. The rabbit pappardelle was perfect and delicious. All I wanted to do was stay longer and try some of the other amazing dishes coming out of the kitchen. We will certainly be back and I'd strongly recommend a visit to this establishment sooner rather than later. Bookings are essential.

We were lucky enough to get a last minute booking last night at Scopri. We chose the feed your table option to taste as much as we could. The flavours were impeccable and complimented each other so well. Everything was fresh as they grow most ingredients on their farm. The service was excellent as well, we had a lovely waiter “Patrick” who is such a beautiful man and really showed that he was passionate about what he does and wanted to make our experience very special. Thank you Patrick and team! We will be back.

Great value, high quality Italian cuisine. We have frequented this institution in Carlton several times for BYO wine nights with friends in the upstairs function room which caters for 14 people. The set menu provided has always been innovative, prepared exquisitely with local ingredients and a delight for the palate. The dedication and professionalism of the staff is top class with outstanding knowledge of the food and wines. This is the place to go if you want to open a bottle of special wine to be accompanied by excellent food.

A bit expensive for us but if you consider what you get, definitely worth every cent. Food was amazing from starter to mains, even the desserts. After gorging ourselves, we left with smiles on our faces. Add to the fave list!

I have only recently discovered Scopri- tucked away from the rest of Carlton on Nicholson street, and I am so glad I did. There is a warm atmosphere from the moment you are greeted, almost like you’re visiting an old friend. The staff are professional and efficient, but still maintain that authentic and genuine Italian experience. The food is consistently delicious. I’ve visited Scopri a few times now and everything I have tried has been cooked to perfection. I have spent a decent amount of time in Italy and Scopri’s food is among the best Italian food I’ve had- even in Italy! My favourite dish is the agnolotti- a beautiful harmony of flavours and textures. I also recommended trying the kingfish and oysters if you love raw seafood- they’re always super fresh and zesty. I highly recommend visiting Scopri if you love good, authentic Italian food- I’ll definitely keep coming back ☺️

The kingfish came with rocket salad and dressing, all fresh and delish. The pasta was freshly made, the duck ragu had generous chunks of duck meats and had beautiful sauce. Agnolotti del Plin 👍👍 rabbit + beef + pork stuffed 'dumplings' or the first time to eat, like cheesy creamy friends will love! Special- Macaroni slightly ordinary Special- Wagyu 👍👍👍 (I don't know if this one is usually available) I have basically given up on most steaks in restaurants, they are all the same with no surprise. But this one really does have a unique flavor, perfect without flaws! There are actually four or five kinds of mustard sauce to choose from, each one will collide with a different taste! Sfoglia Di Mela 👍 apple puff pastry tower topped with caramel next to honey-cinnamon flavored mascarpone ice cream, a successful ending!

We recently had a 3-course meal for 2 people with fresh and high quality ingredients from Scopri: 🐟 Kingfish Carpaccio served with rocket & fennel salad, and caper lemon dressing - The fish was so fresh and the dressing was a perfect compliment to the subtle fish flavor. 🍝 Handmade Pappardelle with Duck Ragu - The pappardelle had an incredible texture that helped the ragu to cling on to it. The duck itself had melt-in-your-mouth feels, such a beautiful dish. 🍫 Cannoli DIY Kit with Sweet ricotta and chocolate filling in a piping bag with crushed pistachio - Honestly one of the best cannoli I’ve ever had in my entire life! I haven’t had a lot of cannoli, but I’m 100% addicted to this one. In addition to the great flavors, the portion was so generous as well! We’ve plated our normal portion and we still had a few leftovers after. The ingredients for the dishes came in pre-packed containers. All you need to do is to heat them up as instructed. The guide was so easy to follow and in a couple of minutes, you’ll have restaurant quality food at home 🥰 Scopri meals are perfect to celebrate any special occasions at home, to send as a gift to your loved ones or to spoil yourself with good food ❤️

Authentic Italian food - so delicious. We managed to get a lunch reservation on a Wednesday afternoon due to a cancellation. The restaurant was buzzing & one is almost transported to a trattoria in Rome or Milan - Italian was freely spoken as well as accented English. A good indication of the authenticity of the meal to come. Everything was spot on - beef carpaccio, quail, cod & crab pasta. It was an enjoyable experience! Reservations essential.

I had been trying to get a dinner reservation for awhile and in the end settled for lunch. The food is well worth it, service is great, you can see that the regulars have a great relationship with the wait staff. Nettle gnocchi was the favourite but all of it was amazing and recommended!

The service and food was fabulous. Staff wonderful without being annoying. First time here and definitely coming back. Top notch menu Caters to fish and meat lovers even quail and duck lovers and vegetarian. Just divine and gorgeous male staff!!

Had an amazing night catching up with friend couple last night. Started with champagne at their place then straight onto some yummy Italian food from @scopri_carlton 👌🏻🥳🤗 . The venue was packed with people on a Tuesday night … we knew we were in for a great evening of delicious food 🙌🏻🤩 . I can’t remember all the dishes we had but the ones I can remember were: • Kingfish Carpaccio • Seafood Salad • Rabbit Ragu • Pappardelle Pasta with Duck Ragu • Fregola Sarda - Pearl Pasta with mussels, cuttlefish, prawns, tomato, crustacean bisque • Bistecca alla brace - Gippsland pasture fed scotchfillet chargrilled over Mallee root • Tiramisu (for two) but ended up being for one 😅🤣 . All of the food was superb. Stand outs for me were definitely the Rabbit Ragu pasta & the Kingfish! Full of flavour, the rabbit was super tender and the Kingfish was super fresh - an absolute treat to eat

Absolutely amazing beautiful perfect food omg. Three generous courses wine and coffee for just over $80, and the best food you could ever imagine. The flavours fresh and delicate but very flavourful, the service was truly majestic, you felt like family and yet royalty. I felt incredibly happy after this experience.

Most disappointingly sad meal Like most people we found this restaurant through the many rave reviews and were excited to visit and as foodies enjoy every second. Firstly the food; zucchini flowers were tasteless apart from the strong olive oil, not sure what the orange sauce flavour should have been but it was missing. Then the Calamari that was average and entirely forgettable. The star; the Oysters that were delicious but served with an astringent and inedible vinegrette and shallot dressing. The Flounder that was very tasty and beautifully presented but which non of the servers offered to plate for us. Bizarre as even the calamari was offered for plating. Not something I was expecting but showed terrible service etiquette. The Steak perfectly cooked where the server offered to plate for us having explained that it was already sliced to then find the the steak was only sliced once, whereupon she hurriedly ran to get a knife and started hacking. We ordered a stellar Barolo that was delicious and decanted but the server was determined to minimise his need to serve us so we had one bottle served to us in three hefty lots, which did not do it justice. On top of this every time we were served water a huge splash landed on my sleeve and table place with no comment. Finally, the service and overall team ambience; obviously there are huge issues between kitchen and service and this is maybe why the manager was busy lurking around every table with a menacing eye on his staff. There was a tangible atmosphere where even we were reluctant to be honest about our experience. What’s sad is that this could have been so great but the horrible service the bland food and the general chaos between staff means we won’t go back and that’s the best way we can vote, is with our feet. So many better places to go in Melbourne, unless you’re very local, don’t bother.

What an amazing ode to Italian food. I enjoyed every meal. We went with the feed me option and upgraded for beef. What a way to experience many of the menu options. For those thinking of attending I would recommend ordering wine by the bottle and not the glass. I found the fill a little lite on. Also as it’s a very small restaurant if there is just 2 of you dinning I would recommend calling ahead to ensure you get a table on the side. We had one right in the walkway and I did feel uncomfortable. Otherwise amazing and would definitely go back!

With Scopri’s farm to table meal boxes you can enjoy their beautiful Italian food from the comfort of home. I recently tried the kingfish carpaccio, pappardelle with duck ragu and cannoli with pistachio. The box came with easy to follow instructions for heating and plating up the dishes. Overall minimal cooking was required, out of the three dishes I only needed to boil the pasta and heat up the sauce. Assembly and plating was straight forward. The kingfish carpaccio was fresh and worked beautifully with the dressing. It was nice and light with a little bit of zest. The pappardelle with duck ragu was amazing. The tender duck just melts in your mouth. The cannoli was the perfect way to end the meal. It was sweet but not overly sweet. I loved the contrasting textures of the crisp shell, crunchy pistachios and the smooth and creamy ricotta filling. The meal boxes are available for pick up or delivery within 20km from the CBD. Overall I was really impressed with the quality and flavours of each of the dishes I tried. I highly recommend ordering one of the Scopri meal boxes.

Lucky enough to spruce up lockdown with a gorgeous dinner box from Scopri. Included we had the kingfish carpaccio, mushroom Ragu with fresh pappardelle and fresh ricotta cannoli. The kingfish was so fresh and beautiful oh my gosh, the capers and rocket provided the perfect contrast to the fish without overpowering how delicious it was. The pasta was a generous serve (perfectly al dente and so fresh) and the mushroom Ragu was so beautifully creamy and flavourful, the mushrooms were beautifully cooked. Finally the ricotta cannoli I could eat every single day of my life- it was so DAMN good. I love that they provide the filling separately so your shells won’t go soggy. 11/10 recommend grabbing yourself a box if you’re thinking about it 🤍

I recently tried one of Scopri's Dinner Meal Boxes and wow what an incredible spread. The quality of the ingredients was A+ and the menu set was a beautiful traditional feast. I loved how everything was packed, the easy to follow menu was great. The kingfish carpaccio was zingy and flavoursome, the duck ragu tasty, so saucy and the duck flavour not overpowering. The tiramisu was as it should be, creamy with a lovely coffee taste. A perfect dinner, I highly recommend.

After a rough few weeks in lockdown, this incredible feast from Scopri made our night ! We ordered the Heirloom Beetroot Salad with Buffalo Ricotta, Mezzaluna Pasta filled with Pumpkin and Ricotta with a Butter Sage Sauce (my gosh this was INCREDIBLE) and to finish off we devoured the most scrumptious fluffy Tiramisu. All the ingredients are so fresh and large servings are a plus! From farm to table, everything was so easy to put together with simple to follow instructions. If you're wanting to indulge in an incredible meal at home, I highly recommend ordering a home delivery box from Scopri. Can't wait to visit in house after lockdown!

You can easily create this perfect meal in the comfort of your home These are the dishes we had for dinner: Beetroot Salad with Ricotta, Lasagne and Cannoli with Pistachio I find the preparing experience so enjoyable, from piping to fill the cannoli (it’s the crisp shell and creamy filling and topped with crushed pistachios for me!!), followed the tips for beautiful plating or just to enjoy the restaurant quality meal at home. How convenient 🤍 the restaurant also offers both delivery within 20kms from the CBD or pick up from the restaurant. I honestly think this is the perfect lockdown meal, it feels just like I’m dining at the restaurant :)

I tried and loved their 3-course home boxed meal. It came with easy instructions on how to prep and it only took a couple of minutes to whip up these restaurant-quality dishes. Here's what was on the menu for tonight: 1. Beetroot Salad w/ Ricotta If you've ever had a good beetroot salad, you'll know how bloody bomb it is. It was no exception for this dish. The buffalo ricotta was absolutely amazing, so smooth and creamy and the hazelnuts sprinkled over the top of the plate just completely perfected the heirloom beetroot salad. I was so impressed. 2. Pappardelle w/ Duck Ragu The homemade pappardelle was al dente and had an incredible texture that helped the ragu stick to it. The duck itself was tender and just melted in my mouth. Loved this dish! 3. Tiramisu Tiramisu is one of my favourite desserts, and it was absolutely ON POINT. It was fluffy with a subtle sweetness and the perfect bitterness from the coffee and cocoa powder. Plated in the video is only one-third of the portion that they gave me - so generous! I can't wait to have more of it tomorrow I would 110% recommend checking out their Scopes meals for 2 and I can't wait to dine in once this lockdown is over.

It's trip down memory lane for us. Haven't been here in 10 years. Food is still good. Service was some what distance, if there are two ppl at the table at least make an effort to tell both ppl about the specials of the day ...especially when the meal is for the lady of the table birthday, even although it was not obvious.

Scopri is proudly farm to table Italian in Carlton I had their home meal boxes which can be ordered for pick up or delivery within 20km from the CBD. The box comes with a simple and easy cooking instructions (mostly heating up and plating). 4.5/5 Almost everything blew me away here. The antipasto, whilst I usually am not too impressed at other restaurants, was incredible! The bread sticks were crispy and salty, the selection of meats were of the highest quality and flavour, the cheese was soft and creamy and the pickled onions were a great addition. Although I can’t remember the details of the pasta special, I do remember it being silky, perfectly al dente, the rabbit was tender, and it was seasoned so well. If you know me, you know how happy I was to hear the dessert special of the night of my birthday was Tiramisu, and boy was that a treat. I haven’t been too impressed with the Tiramisu I’ve tried at other restaurants, but this was perfection. Well-soaked sponge, great amount of mascarpone, it just melted in your mouth. The serving was huge, and we didn’t leave a crumb. I wasn’t a huge fan of the steak, it was a little too rare for my liking and was chewier than I’d like. Overall nothing special and I wouldn’t reorder. Scopri places itself as one of my favourite Italian restaurants in Melbourne. The service was impeccable – our waitress was excellent, she was a master of her craft. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a new date night spot or just craving some good quality Italian food.

We came for a late lunch on a Friday. There was a very loud table seated next to us which made it hard for my husband and I to chat or even hear the waiter, but other than that the experience was faultless! We had the scallops to start, and then we had risotto and Wagyu. All were excellent and plates were wiped clean! The service and quality of the food was so good, I'd definitely go back but just hope not to be seated next to another rowdy group of old men.

An unassuming restaurant from its exterior, Scopri served a wonderful lunch with attentive and friendly service throughout. I came here specifically to indulge on their truffle risotto which went above and beyond my expectations. We were very pleased to find we would be receiving white truffles as well! The waitors shaved fresh truffles on top of our dishes and the aroma was simply divine. The entrees like the main were equally excellent. The carpaccio could have used a little bit of acidity but was otherwise lovely and the scallops and quail were perfect. Desserts rounded off a perfect lunch however i would have skipped the coffee which was rather watery and a bad blend. Overall a wonderful lunch and would absolutely come back again.

Overall food are ok, but main are bit disappointed, as you can see in the photo, we have ordered risotto and lobster spaghetti, risotto was very undercooked, you can chew on every single piece of risotto, we’ve had plenty of risotto dishes but this one is very different, We’ve informed the waitress and after she checked with the kitchen, she said kitchen is happy to recook the dish for us, but she insists this is how they always cook this dish. We have waited for 10-15mins for the second dish of risotto, unfortunately, the texture is the same, we couldn’t wait another 10-15mins so I didn’t tell the waitress and just finish the dish. Lobster spaghetti tastes awesome, but the texture of the spaghetti is very different compare with your usual spaghetti, it’s thinner and has harder texture, and that’s not what we expected. When we expressed the disappointment at the cashier, cashier was nice enough to take the cost of risotto off from the bill. On the way back home, owner of the restaurant called me and offered his apology, and he insisted on refund the full amount back to us for our unpleasant experience. Even though the experience wasn’t the best, but food are subjective, some people might love them at Scopri, but they are just not for us, but I would still give them 4 star for the environment, friendly staff and owner’s attitude and care for his customers, I can tell he really cares for his customers’ experience in the restaurant, overall, if you are into Italian food and want to try something new, it’s worth the try.

It was my first time in there and i will be back for sure. Hands down the best place for italian food in Melbourne. I loved everything, from fried calamari, to seafood salad, to risotto with zucchini and prawns, to the various specials. Good service, good quality of food. Well done guys!

I believe this is one of our best restaurants. Its menu is extensive and offers a wide range from capaccio of kingfish to slow roasted goat. Much of the produce comes from their own farm. The service is outstanding and as professional as I have experienced. As a bonus, they serve the best house made bread I have ever eaten

The staff are always helpful, the wine list is expansive and the tasting menu is value for money. We’ve eaten here at least 5 times and it has never once disappointed.

We wanted a quieter smaller restaurant with good food and Scopri lived up to all our expectations. The staff were happy and welcoming. Menu was fabulous and food delicious! It is a gem and not to be missed. We were here for lunch. I highly recommended this restaurant.

We had the most lovely birthday dinner here. The staff were attentive and genuine without being overbearing, and the food was wonderfully tasty and unpretentious. They even sent us home with some of their amazing home baked bread - very much appreciated! We will definitely be back!

Usually It's extremely rare to be impressed when it comes to food from the restaurants but man this restaurant got everything on point, from entrée to dessert, it was amazing. Definitely going back there for some mind blowing meals. Wagyu steak and scallops are highly recommended and that lava dessert was also incredible.

Scopri Italian hands down, has the best chef-cooked meals in lockdown! They truely lifted our spirits with such high quality authentic Italian food, it was so delicious! We tried the Kingfish Carpaccio, Pappardelle with Duck Ragu and the Tiramisu for dessert! 🥰 We highly recommending trying our their delicious meal boxes at home, they are so worth it! 💚

We are so happy we are locals, so we can walk to and from, because the wine list is also excellent! We have the Scopri box during lockdown and from the moment we picked it up we knew it was going to be amazing. Just the friendly faces and service upon receiving you can see they love what they do, can’t wait to get Back there to dine in house. But do yourself a favour and order this amazing treat. Absolutely amazing beautiful perfect food omg. Three generous courses wine and coffee for just over $80, and the best food you could ever imagine. The flavours fresh and delicate but very flavourful, the service was truly majestic, you felt like family and yet royalty. I felt incredibly happy after this experience.

I got dinner for 2 in the comfort of my own home! Everything was incredible with this home meal box! The pasta was extremely fresh and duck ragu was tender and flavoursome. I love the kingfish with capers and fennel too. The produce was high quality and very fresh. The cannoli were crunchy and the filling was light and fluffy. Food is absolutely delicious! I Highly recommend the home delivery box!

We LOVE Scopri and although I’d love to keep this hidden gem to myself – you must give kudos where kudos is due. We like to go a few times a year for special occasions and I would describe it as semi-fine dining with added warmth.
