New owner and they are sorting themselves out. So Tried the food from the new chef, both of which comes directly from China. Great food, but don't order your normal Chinese take away food.. Must try the spicy beef. Sorry food was taken half way during the meal...

The boss runs this business in a typical Chinese way. He thinks good decoration and appearance will bring more customers, but he forgot here is not China. Food is average, service is terrible, you can not find any waiters when you need them. They only appear when food is ready to serve. It is also bit pricy comparing to having same food in other Chinese restaurants. I will not go back again.

Such a beautiful restaurant interior wasted on mediocre food. Not sure how they spent so much on the interior design but serve all you can eat for $30. Staff weren't attentive and service was slow. There was no one at the front as the entrance is very confusing.

This place was one of the best places to eat in Chinatown. Its grandeur sophisticated and classy atmosphere is such a waste compared to the food quality and service. We tried to support the place by coming back again and again but I think they've lost us forever. They have lowered their standards to the point where it's no longer acceptable. The worst Chinese restaurant it's become. :-(

Yumcha buffet costs 29.80 per person sounds very good. I thought I could enjoy a lot of food. Turned out, very limited choices and very very slow customer services. I spend an hour there, only ordered 5-6 dishes. The food cart won't even go to my table. Not worth the price.

Food took so long to come, it can't be 'all you can eat' if you don't bring food out. Service was terrible!! why come to Australia on a working holiday visa if you not going to work. The food that we did try was really poor quality, frozen, bland and dipping with oil. Dessert items were old and tasteless. I spoke to manager whose idea of customer service is to explain that machine was broken and they didn't receive our order in the kitchen that's why food doesn't come out. When youre paying $32.5 per person maybe they can fix machine. I didn't want a discount I wanted to get what I paid for or at least clean fresh food.

Been here twice for all you can eat Hot Pot. Once during dinner time and once during lunch time. I highly recommend the place if you're going during lunch session. It's a lot cheaper and more value for your money at roughly $28 pp. Dinner was a little over $40 and the selection of food was not different to the lunch session. A good selection of cooked food and raw food to choose from. There was also a small selection of dessert and sweets to finish off. Also a good selection of condiments for sauces.

This was one of the weirdest and worst experiences in yum cha I've ever had. We ate at 1pm on a Friday, the place was moderately full. So it was a big surprise to be delivered COLD pork dumplings. When we asked for them to be replaced with hot ones, they simply microwaved them. There were ample staff in the restaurant, but no one appeared to be too interested in bringing carts to our table. After forty minutes or so we had only seen three wait staff - one of whom had only desserts on their trolley, the other two we had to signal over to us. After deciding to cut our losses and find somewhere else to eat, we were then presented with a bill that was for an amount twice what we actually owed. Sumptuous decor and fancy wine fridges doesn't make up for cold food and a lack of service. I won't be returning and would advise anyone contemplating dining here to think twice.

This is a really terrible experience at this restaurant. I had a Yum Cha buffet and the food were not fresh. Especially, the prawn were stinky in the dumplings and some prawn are not cooked. The important thing is the attitude, the manager said it is different kind of prawn. He did not apologize to that as well. Also, the waitress were rude and use their home language say something. One of my friend know what were they talking about. So I really do not recommend the Yum Cha buffet.

Plenty of choices, good place to have Yum Cha with friends. The price is cheap, but the washroom needs to be fixed. Some damages are there for long time(over 6 months), better replace it.

dirty restaurant with paper in food😩😩😩😩 I seldom give bad comment to restaurant because I think every restaurant will at least provide some edible food. But this time, I would like to angrily exposure this restaurant. When I was eating buffet, I found some paper. This kind of Paper seems to be found from some package or some Paper-made boxes. 😡 not just a piece of that. But A lot! It is really disgusted. It indicates that this restaurant provide some food without cleaning! It let me feel sick. And I asked the staff to explain that. They actually confess that but did not have any apology attitude. It seems do not care about this. She still trying to cover the reality by giving us special discount or free beverage. Finally, we reject their compensation. Anyone can kindly find the picture attached and do not go to this restaurant again. 餐厅非常不干净,可以在火锅里吃到纸皮!!!很多.....而且拒不认错的态度也非常可笑😶当餐饮业食品安全都无法保证,不知道所谓的后厨卫生,服务态度有什么可以说的....

Food average. Service terrible. We ordered about 10dishes, they serve first dish in 5mins,then wait for another 20mins to serve another few dishes, and finally, they miss out some dishes which we already waited for an hour. And the waitress looks unhappy all the time. We will not try come back any more.

The food was excellent. Staff were very attentive. Decor was lavish. Very relaxing atmosphere. No rush to finish meal at 10 pm. Owner was friendly. Very different style of place to the usual Australian restaurant. We really enjoyed it.

Been there few times. Parents are regular there. Food is just ok. But the owner very friendly. But a lot of new staff work there service can varies. Always able to get a seat at weekend nights. Large space. The place looks luxury.

Giving 1 star is just too many, highly recommend not to pop by. Arrive at 1:30pm on a Sunday with 12 of us including myself, Boss lied and said that they had no menu. Refused to give us enough servings so splitting each dumpling in half just to be able to have a bite each was expected. The boss Refused and gave attitude when we requested any servings. They decided to stop bringing much more meals and quickly moved onto dessert which they didn't have enough to serve 1 per person. The bill came to $417.20c but it should've been more like $120.
