Absolutely love the fit out - haven’t been since they renovated. Great attentive service plus drinks. The kingfish needed a bit more flavour but I loved the oysters, our 154 cheese pizza, crab and lobster pasta plus the crepes. Thanks for having us in

The waiter served us very well, but the food is emm... just below average. The Lasagna charged me $35 tasted good but the size is much smaller than I thought. I must say all the dishes are overpriced. And the size of the food is insanely small. By the way, avoid to order the calamari.

Absolutely LOVED this place! Everything about 400 Gradi is amazing. The food is just so delicious and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The Mortadella pizza was sublime, the world champion Margarita was truly out of this world and our waiter, Valentino was a true gentleman. His recommendations were spot on and his attention to detail was great. The #6 tram from the Melbourne CBD is right out the front! We will be back ASAP!!!💙💙🍕💙

Dishes were great and we enjoyed them all. Your usual Italian fare but in a more refined presentation. Waitress' wine recommendation was also a perfect pairing.

The pizza was outstanding 👌🏾 the burnt chewy crust was almost like the ones I've had in Napoli. The mussels was fine although the freshness could be debated. Salads and dessert was on point, despite it being uncreative. Service was warm and hospitable, as expected of this homely Italian restaurant. Grazie, 400 Gradi.

My second time back since the last visit. Very nice pizza dough and chewy. You have the best dough formula. However, it is a bit salty. Come to salad, it is super salty. 😒 In general, great vibe, high level interior deisgn and good table service.

Ordered 1 pizza and 2 pastas for takeaway. Food was ready quick and they all taste great! However, gnocchi was a bit too soft for me and both pastas doesn't have much meats in there, which is a bit shame for the nice flavor in there. Pizza is great! Overall a bit pricy but the pizza worth it.

3.5 stars. I’ve had my fair share of pizza. I’d maybe call myself a pizza fiend. So when I heard they won best pizza in the world i knew I had to try it out! Let me start by saying the Customer service was superb. They were super accommodating and even gave my little Child a book to read while waiting for our food to arrive. Excellent. Atmosphere is something which says we know how to serve you yummy food and give you a great experience. We ordered two pizzas which -if I am to be honest and frank- were nice, but nothing spectacular. They came out not very hot - a little warm. The dough was great though. It had a nice spring and bite to it. But for me I think I was missing a bit of added depth… I was struggling to find much sauce and any depth and flavour to it… our pizza with toppings was also clumped together which at times was a little over powering. All in all a good experience but let me down in a couple areas I was hoping for more.

I’m not sure if it was a mistake, but I bought a beef lasagna from coles and it has no meat whatsoever. Pretty dried as well and no sauce. Disappointing

Good old fashioned Italian restaurant that serves delicious pasta and wood fired pizza. Their Margherita pizza was voted world's best pizza and it certainly was delicious and I highly recommend it. Every pasta we ordered was also delicious. You can't go wrong with any of them!

Been to every 400 gradi in Melbourne and they have always been consistent across the restaurants. The pizza with stuffed ricotta and prosciutto is insane! I’d love one right now and it’s only 7am… Anyways, try the lasagna croquettes very very nice!

Had an awesome night at 400 gradi tonight. Waiter Sofia was very kind, knowledgeable and attentive and made for a wonderful experience. The food was faultless and had so much authentic flavor. It is pricey but so worth it for how good the food and experience is. Thanks to Sofia and the team for an awesome night. Monday night margarita was also good addition to get $18 margarita pizza and $10 margarita cocktail.

Just had the Tagliolini alla Pescatore at 400 Gradi, and it was a taste revelation! Perfectly cooked pasta swimming in a sea of exquisite seafood flavors. Every bite felt like a trip to the Italian coast. Top-notch service and a cozy atmosphere make this place a must-visit for any food lover. Grazie mille, 400 Gradi, for an unforgettable Lunch experience!

Great feed and drinks at Gradi. Pizza was fluffy and fresh, focaccia is highly recommended with the burrata to boot. Great refurb on the inside with plenty of seating, and great for big groups. Came for Sunday lunch, which seemed to be a nice and quiet timeslot. Had a booking but didn't seem to need it. Baby change facilities and accessible friendly bathrooms available FYI 👍

These chips cost $17 and they arrived stone cold. Pizza flavour was fantastic, but almost none of the topping arrived on the very soggy pizza base, which was also stone cold. Don't recommend takeaway from here but eat in is great.

Underwhelming with everything today. We came here before but I didn't leave any reviews at the time. It was pretty good last time. However, it is disappointing this time round. Starting of with Arancini which came out underwhelming with presentation. I found the sauce is a bit sour and arancini balls were crunchy but quite bland, more seasoning or salt would lift it a bit more even though there was salt sprinkle on top. A side of green leaf salad or rocket would give the dish a bit more element for freshness and contrast to cut the sourness of sauce. Pizza 🍕 we like hot salami and we had different one last time. This time we tried Vulcano which has hot salami, caramelized onion and spiced honey. I should be concerned with honey on pizza and we found that it was way too sweet. There was just a few pieces of salami which is a bit overpriced when you only have this much topping for $37 pizza. Pappadelle with truffle sauce, we found it quite tasteless too. On top of that, $7.50 for a coke ... I know it's Gradi but ... I mean ... really? Anyway, we weren't impressed this time and most likely not coming back at least for a while as it's not consistency. Nice place and good service but I don't think the food it worth the price now. (We thought it was worth the price last time and that's why we came back ... unfortunately not this time.) Thank you for your service.

We were recommended this restaurant by both friends and guide books, and we were not disappointed. Much bigger inside than we expected, it was a bustling hive but this only added to the atmosphere. The food was delicious! I chose the scotch fillet with mushroom sauce medium rare, although it was slightly more medium than I like the flavour was terrific. H had the portofino (spicy prawn pizza) and the dough was divine, with the flavours on top making it delicious. We finished with a passion fruit and cardamom cocktail and Nutella calzone with a side of vanilla ice cream! Too big to finish in one go we took the rest home, but it was the perfect end to a lovely meal. The ice cream selection is massive…something for everyone. A must go to if you’re in Melbourne

I can only review the gelato area… all flavours I tasted from the kids were fantastic! I ordered the Kinder surprise shake, it was good but maybe too milky. I only had hints of kinder. And I have to add that I am a massive kinder surprise collector… I literally have thousands! Anyway… great experience. Will def return

The Margherita pizza has always been a winner for me at Gradi. The mushroom pasta was so well balanced just enough creamy-ness and richness without being too much. If anything it was very moreish. We sat outside which meant it can be a little hard to flag down a waiter but they were attentive and helped us with our weird order. You can order the gelato flavours from their ice cream shop next door to be served at the restaurant which was a nice touch. A lovely lunch spot.

I was in a group of 4, sitting outside, and it was a brilliant experience. We all went in and did the Feed Me option and boy, was it value for money. The gluten free options were amazing and everyone else (not gluten free) also enjoyed their meals. Our wine was excellent and the service, amazing. Our wait staff (Natalia I think it was) was ever so patient and accommodating. The manager also looked after us in exceptional fashion. I would highly recommend 400 Gradi in Brunswick. Thank you.

Visiting from Toronto and this came as a recommendation. It's absolutely lived up to the hype! Crudo was simple and delicious, pizza was great portion and authentic. Topped it off with a fernet and coffee. As a solo traveler, the atmosphere was comfortable made perfect by the servers. Thank you for a great lunch!

It’s not my first time dining at 400 Gradi, but’s it’s the first time at the Brunswick 400 Gradi. We were very hungry that night, however we still felt the food was below average. The only acceptable dish was the Tartufata pizza. The other pizza Fruitti Di Mare was at room temperate when it’s served. The pasta was soggy, the seafood wasn’t fresh, resulting of my friends and me having discomfort stomach after the meal. Lasagna was a bit disappointing with the texture and taste of it. Service in general was above expectations, with staff greeting with manners and overall we felt respected. Just the quality of food needs to be improved with this price.

Dough is still decent, but feels thicker than the last time I came for pizzas I’m not sure though? Margherita still good. Caserta w the prosciutto good. Service good, attentive but not intrusive.

Still a hit after all these years. There are a handful of fun new cocktails on offer since I last visited like a banana brulee negroni and a pina colada topped with a baba pastry. The calamari is lightly fried and very well flavoured and the goats cheese and walnut salad was nice too. As for pizza, you can’t really go wrong with any but I enjoyed the Sorrento (tomato, smoked mozzarella and anchovy) and the Vulcano (salami, bacon and hot honey). They both had the type of soft, chewy, slightly charred crust that I love with generous toppings.

Great delicious food. Atmosphere was great, next to road so would recommend indoors rather than outdoors (avoid dust lol). Service - the waitress who attended to us was super friendly and great but the lady at the front (cash register) need a tad retraining with costumer service. Otherwise, was a great experience.

Overall pleasant restaurant but severely lacking the original Italian character. The formally polite and friendly staff. Frankly, I would have expected a better pizza and instead I found it not very tasty and chewy, I gave two stars above all for the pasta carbonara which is quite good for the standard of the restaurants I surveyed.

Nice ambience, polite staff. Food came out just warm and not hot. The chef won the best pizza in the world award in 2014 for their margherita pizza. 10/10 Loved it must visit

The marinara pizza was delicious. I was expecting a crunchier crust but the gooey-ness won me over in the end. Garlicky goodness! And the olive oil. Who knew pizza without cheese could be so yum?

Our second visit here (as we are from NSW) and it was as amazing as the first time. Strawberry margaritas with their incredible margherita pizzas (voted #1 in the world 2014) were SO good. We will always visit when we are in Melbourne. PLEASE open in NSW!!!

My second time back here. It was not as good as the first. The Margarita - most famous pizza was good but nothing spectacular. The Portofino - pizza with Italian sausage, the pork sausage was raw in the middle. We, however, noticed this too late and had eaten quite a bit of it.. The seared king prawned were nice but incredibly overpriced for the portion we ended up getting. The service was great but I won't be returning for a while.

Great food, sadly service was very disappointing, some of my group had their mains before the others had their entree. Same with desserts some of my party received theirs others had theirs almost 30 minutes later. When you go to a place like Gradi you don't expect this, we were told the kitchen was busy then why take so many bookings if they cannot cope. There is a 2 hour limit to finish dining but we still hadn't received our food. If I spend over $700 I expect better as much as I enjoy their food i won't be back.

We had a fantastic experience here. We tried Pappardelle and Margherita, and especially, Pappardelle was the best pasta we've ever had. And our waiter, Sofia, was very friendly. She consistently checked if everything was okay with the food. We really enjoyed the lunch. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you!

Visited 400 Gradi over the weekend, as soon as we walked in was greeted by a beautiful young girl Bee who just by watching her does her job incredibly. Besides the amazing food, finished off my meal with a coffee that was absolutely amazing. My coffee order is quite complicated and Filippo deserves more than a 10/10 for the coffee he made me. I’ve been coming back ever since that first coffee and it is always consistent and made with heaps of love 🤍 To top off my amazing experience, Alice’s presence on the floor was absolutely remarkable. Always making sure we were well looked after. Will definitely be back with friends & family 😊😊
