Came here for dinner and would definitely come again. The food was really good, we specified we needed a vegetarian selection and they had such a good range. It was a really busy night and they didn’t seem to have many staff on so seemed a bit overwhelmed but everyone was really helpful and kind. Miriam and Jas were both exceptional!

Nice place and super friendly staff. Just had one cocktail and it was absolutely delicious! And I’m not a easy person for it. We had the feed me menu snacks + gnocchi and it was great! 5 stars for the snacks, 4 for the gnocchi which was a bit over cooked - for me. Definitely will be back to give another try and have more of the delicious cocktails.

So quick review - food is great, staff are great, the cocktails are a little disappointing. Longer review - the flavour of the cocktails weren't that amazing and also were not presented very well which was a let down as initially we chose Lover for the cocktail menu. The food and service more than made up for it though! With the exception of the slightly to salty chickpea dish, everything else was delicious. The oysters were fresh, the pork jowl sandwich was full of flavour and the gnocchi and duck were also super tasty.

We ordered the $70 tasting menu tonight but we were not impressed with most of the food. A few dishes were delicious but were disappointed with a lot of the food. The gnocchi was way too salty and almost inedible. We were waiting 20 -30 mins in between each dish and drinks were average. Stuff were very lovely and attentive though.

Great food! Not too many vegetarian options but great food that was! The gnocchi was delicious! Cocktails that we had were alright. Loved Wednesday gnocchi night!

Great place, and staff were so friendly! We had a big group and they were really accommodating! we had the lover nights menu! Was great and the wine was great!

Please do yourself a favour and get to Lover to try their maple glazed beetroot dish. It sits on a bed of leek purée with pistachio, with a raspberry vinaigrette and grana padano and I cannot stop obsessing over it. I’m a meat eater but would happily take this dish over any of the meat options. Such an incredible combination of flavours, I’m booking in again just to get more of this dish. LOVER - please don’t ever take this off your menu! The panisse was also lovely - but maybe need to order it with a side of greens next time. The ceviche was interesting but a tad too salty for me. Gnocchi was of course wonderful. Nov Update: I went back with more friends to try the beetroot dish and it wasn’t the same. Last time the texture of the pistachio leek purée was an absolute dream. The ratio of purée to beetroots was off, and sadly lacking pistachios, which impacted the texture. LOVER, please go back to the original recipe.

We had a beautiful dinner at LOVER! It was SO VIBEY! I loved the ambiance of this place and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The cocktails were gorgeous in taste and presentation. We had the feed me with dessert included ($75 each) and enjoyed the share meals and main we were presented with. A bit pricey however there is quite a few dishes in the one feed me and you get dessert so it’s well worth it if you want an experience across their menu. If you don’t want desserts or as much to eat I’ll go with the smaller feed me at $55.

Food was good, waitress was disengaged bordering on rude. They were almost empty so all our food came out one dish after another with no time to rest in between - we had 4 rounds of food within 45 mins, it felt way too fast.

This place has a really nice vibe and ambiance, love the dim lighting - would be cute for a date or even some casual intimate drinks and chats with friends :) The cocktails are so yummy - had the white choc espresso martini and the Babushka which was a coffee and baileys based cocktail! Will probs be a regular here. Can’t wait to come back!

BEST FOOD EVER! Wasn’t expecting much as it appears to be more of a drinks spot at first, but oh my god we got the ‘feed me’ set menu and couldn’t believe how delicious the food was. Have been back a few times and the menu refreshes every time, every dish is absolutely incredible. Cocktails also great and service very friendly. Great date night spot

Amazing food. We went on Wednesday Gnocchi night so you get a gnocchi dish and glass of wine for $30. Great atmosphere except its very loud especially the music. Makes it hard to talk to your dinner party.

My partner and I shared both gnocchi dishes, the broccolini, and the bread. All the dishes were delicious. The gnocchi were both quite rich, but we would get them again. (Especially the tomato basil one). The staff were friendly, great service.

The Feed Me menu is outstanding. Flavours we not over the top but back to basic with a modern twist. The right balance and enough in each serve to leave you completely satisfied. Also the cocktails were amazing too! I highly recommend Lover for a group event.
