Stayed 4 nights the end of July and would have happily stayed the whole holiday. The breakfast choice is generous and the cooked breakfast is one of the best I have had. Mostly saw Stuart and Winston. Winston being the most famous chocolate lab I've ever met. Would happily stay again and would recommend to everyone. The only thing I would say about this visit is we were in, effectively, a single room containing a double and bunk beds, where it would have been nice to put the kids in another room and shut the door! Everyone with kids will understand 😊

Second time I have visited, the hosts are extremely welcoming. The dogs are the cutest and very friendly. 100% would recommend. The breakfast may be an awhile to wait but it is worth it, the English breakfasts are delicious! I really enjoyed my second stay. -Room 8, 2021

We stayed 3 nights at this guest house. Friendly owners and dogs , and lovely freshly made breakfast… and the location is amazing! The room was clean and freshly painted, so we were really happy. Thanks for taking care of us and hope to see you guys soon!

Stayed two nights and would have stayed longer if I could have. Lovely place and Steward was a great host. Breakfast was included and it was a top breakfast freshly made and very filling. Great value for money. Steward booked us onto the ferry and took care of that so one less thining to worry about. Would I stay here again? Orh yes!

Great place for a short 2-night stay. Walking distance to central Sandown. Great hosts and excellent breakfasts. Dog friendly do our pooch was happy. Recommended

Really lovely stay at the Fernside guest house. The host was really nice and kind and was able to help us out throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I really recommend this place.

Stuart the owner was very welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. the room was very clean and nicely decorated, teas, coffees, hairdryer and information book to hand. Breakfast was also included in the price so grate value for money. Rosie

An amazing place to stay in Isle of White. Great hospitality by Stuart and Angella. They are always there to help. The overall place has a very homely wibe to it. The included breakfast is a delight and is served with a lot of love and affection. The in house pets Winston and Mable(dogs) and Spark(cat) are a great company on a unwinding vacation. The rooms are lovely and appropriately sized. The location is very near to Sandown railway station and Sandown high street. Quite a few nearby restaurants for lunch and dinner options. Overall a great value for money option.

We have just come back from a 2 night stay at The Fernside and would recommend to all people that like to take their four legged friends with them. Stuart and Angela were the most welcoming of hosts and the dogs, Winston and Mabel, were very friendly with the kids and our Labrador Marmite. We will deffinately look to stay again, the family room was spacious, clean and tidy with plenty of room for us all. The breakfast was very good and nothing was too much trouble. Many thanks for taking us last minute and making it so enjoyable.

Great guest house owners are friendly and very accommodating. Short walk to the beach and town centre 15mins max food is lovely lots of choice and cater for all dietary requirements. Parking available on the carpark close to bus stops that give access to the whole island.

Good clean room with all usual tea and coffee making facilities. Bathroom clean and shower good. Host was very friendly and breakfast was really good being cooked on demand thus ensuring it was served hot. The town is a little bit run down but do not let that put you off as the B&B is highly recommended.

It's a wonderful guest house. Lovely hosts, services. Very good breakfast. Had a Wonderful stay. Strongly recommend to everyone.
