I
signed
up
to
this
gym
about
6
months
ago.
At
the
time
I
asked
them
for
personal
training
services.
They
suggested
a
PT
at
their
gym
and
within
their
gym,
but
they
said
I
would
deal
with
the
PT
directly.
I
used
his
services
for
months
and
was
very
happy
until
one
day
the
gym
notified
me
that
they
had
fired
him.
I
had
$270
worth
of
prepaid
PT
sessions
in
cash
with
this
guy,
and
I
tried
to
reach
out
for
months
to
the
PT
after
he
was
fired
with
no
luck.
I
approached
VF
and
tried
to
explain
that
in
firing
the
PT,
the
gym
had
removed
the
ability
for
him
to
provide
me
with
those
services
and
so
if
the
PT
was
noncontactable
that
even
if
there
was
no
legal
requirement,
there
is
some
kind
of
ethical
responsibility
in
helping
to
resolve
my
issue.
I
felt
that
VF
was
very
inadequate
in
their
handling
of
the
situation.
They
said
that
they
spoke
to
him
by
email
and
that
he
had
made
a
commitment
to
providing
services
in
return
and
seemed
to
not
care
what
happened
beyond
that.
I
sent
two
follow
up
emails
to
VF
when
I
didn't
hear
from
the
PT
after
they
stated
he
would
be
in
touch,
and
VF
never
replied
to
either
email.
I
was
always
polite
in
my
attempts
to
chase
this,
I
was
never
rude.
Beyond
the
PT
issue,
I
had
other
issues
with
the
manager
of
the
gym
who
often
came
across
combative.
Just
one
of
multiple
instances
where
I
was
made
to
feel
belittled
was
the
first
day
I
forgot
a
hand
towel
when
arriving
at
the
gym
(this
was
about
2.5
months
into
my
membership
so
I
was
generally
good
at
remembering).
Michael's
exact
words
to
me
because
I
was
so
shocked
I
couldn't
forget
it
were
"I
don't
know
what
Cade
has
told
you
about
this
gym,
but
here
you
need
to
use
a
hand
towel".
It
was
quite
abrasive
and
rude
towards
his
staff
and
to
me,
and
I
could
never
understand
why
he
was
blaming
the
PT
for
something
that
I
had
forgotten.
It's
a
real
shame
because
the
facilities
themselves
are
great,
I
had
great
workouts
there
with
the
PT.
But
if
you
remove
the
PT
and
the
equipment
(because
most
gyms
have
the
same
equipment)
then
I
was
just
left
with
a
sour
experience
over
6
months,
with
multiple
emails
about
a
reasonable
issue
never
replied
to,
that
left
me
no
other
choice
but
to
seek
a
gym
membership
elsewhere.
