I've just visited Melbs for couple days and wanted to try different styles of yoga. I had amazing power flow 2 class with Nick. it's really strong class, but it's absolutely worth to try and challenge yourself before fisrt cup of coffee. There was everything included from beautiful and peaceful yoga studio through strong flow class to calming box breathing technique at the end.

I spent a month for work in Melbourne and was looking for a good yoga studio to keep my practice. I couldn't have found a better option than Move Yoga. Small and cozy studio yet with a big variety of classes and many teachers each with a different yoga approach. Loved the friendliness of the team and the cleanliness of the 2 studios. Locker rooms are also in a perfect state. Towels and mats are provided for every class! Without any doubt, this will be my yoga studio on my next visit to Melbourne!

The most thoughtful yoga studio you could ever find! They provide mats, shower and practice towels, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, tampons each and everything at least from my experience as a female. This place is for most busiest people with so many classes everyday, all you need is bringing yourself to the mat and your practice clothes and they will take care of the rest. I remember I even sneaked out couple of times during my boring internship at lunch time and had naps on the mats during their YIN classes!!! If you want to find a workout place to have a good habit this year and stick with it, this is the one since they make it so convenient and easy. You can take yoga easy to relax, destress, just left spa feeling like, or it can be vigorous intense holistic workout focusing on your strength, balance and flexibility. I found myself be able to do splits during hip opening sequences in Travis’s classes after 4 months at MOVE( I could never do splits my whole life) which excited me and made me wonder what else I could do with my body and my mind. I take yoga as a discipline to train my body and my mind and a perfect conditioning for my new pole and lyra routines this year.

Gorgeous studio hidden in Flinders Lane. Walk up a flight of stairs and you will find a spacious and welcoming reception with comfy couches and 2 large studios with all equipment supplied! I love the ambience of this place, the lighting and interior is simple and inviting and change room and bath facilities are top notch. When you sign in, you get a towel and locker for free and you can purchase drinks, rent bath towel or bring a bottle as they supply filtered water. For the ladies change room, all amenities seem to be included (shampoo, conditioner, soap, hairdryers and straighteners). Using ClassPass, I attended a one hour hot flow yoga class in a heated room (35-37 degrees) and it seemed to be open to all levels. I enjoyed the pace and you got to go as hard as you liked or take resting positions as needed. Great way to start the day!

Incredible! I was only in Melbourne for less than a week for work, and tried MOVE yoga, basically because they had a packed timetable, so I had plenty of options in terms of time and style. I was so impressed by the classes. They were challenging, and provided me with the same intensity “work-out” that I do on the reg in my home town. Every class I went to was different from the last, so I never felt bored. The staff and instructors were so friendly. The whole place was super clean, they provide towels and mats (which was great, because I didn’t have one). It was a beautiful, inviting vibe. If you haven’t tried heated yoga, I would completely recommend this studio.

If you are in Melbourne and wanted to take your fitness to next level, Move is the place! Amazing place, wonderful teachers, tremendous sequences. Their YTT is one of the best I would say. It was a joyful experience while learning and improving. Love the place and love the team even more!

I’m so glad that I chose to do my yoga training at MOVE Yoga. Through this training I have met and connected with so many amazing yogis. Everyone involved in training me is so knowledgeable and experienced, and it was wonderful to have them share their knowledge and experience with me. I was apprehensive about starting the course because I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to do it while working full time and juggling my other personal commitments. However, I felt very capable and I felt very supported throughout my journey by Allison, Neo and all the amazing teachers involved in the training, and the other teacher training students too. I am a better yoga student after completing this teacher training and I cannot wait to teach my own yoga classes. Also, it was lots of fun! Thank you so much to MOVE Yoga for allowing me to take the next step on my yoga path.

By the end of 2018, I discovered MOVE yoga from my friend who loves yoga and pilates, at that time was also my very first time to get to know about what is yoga, types of yoga, how to do it, etc. especially hot yoga thats my FAVE!!🔥 On my very first day trial, I REALLY LOVE ITTT😭🥺 I’m in love since then with yoga *thanks to Fletcher - my first yoga instructors* and become a member till early 2020 as I hardly decided to go back to my hometown because of this pandemic. All the MOVE crew including instructors are super friendly, they’re really nice and helpful especially for me as a beginner at that time, even only on a couple weeks they already remember you including your name once you arrive in their studio *for me thats a small thing but means a lot💞*. Moreover, the pricing is really affordable especially if you join their membership or have concession card. Definitely reckon this place if you like and love yoga, especialy their hot yoga *MUST TRY* I really miss this place tho😭, will come back if I get a chance to go to Melbourne one dayy in the future! THANK YOU MOVE YOGA♥️

I've been practicing with MOVE for over 2 years and it's definitely my favourite Yoga studio in the CBD. There are a variety of classes everyday at different times of the day which makes it easy to practice before/after work. They cater to everyone, if you're a beginner they will guide you properly and they always offer challenges for the more advanced yogis. Highly recommended :)

This studio is right in the heart of Melbourne. It is a great studio that offers yoga sculpt, Vinyasa Flow and Teacher Training. It’s a Triple Threat experience.

You enter MOVE Yoga after passing through a dreary and dark staircase, but once you pass through the door, then your liberating experience begins. The foyer is inviting and the teachers are also the welcoming party who greet you with a warm smile and a kind word. The ambience of the studios is intoxicating with the heat and the soothing music as you take your place on the mat provided. The main studio is large with ample space for each yogi without being impersonal. The sessions are professionally and confidently led by young teachers who clearly practice what they preach. They generously remain behind after the class to answer your questions and check in with your progress. For those who like it, the studio offers different types of classes and challenges for all types of bodies and learners. But just not for me. The company did respond positively to my request for a refund but they could benefit from putting a refund policy in place to ensure greater clarity. Although I came to the conclusion that yoga isn't for me, I would not hesitate in recommending this studio to others.

Very tastefully designed space, with precise purpose. Having travelled extensively and worked at luxury hotels, this is the kind of clean and exclusive space you really appreciate. Travis is fantastic and running a small business around the corner, the people at Move have always been an integral part of the community, particularly during the very challenging couple of years of the pandemic.

In 2019, I began my yoga journey at Move Yoga in city. Initially, I saw it as just another studio, but it quickly became more than a place for yoga. Move has been a witness to my life's highs and lows, a place of growth, resilience, and bonding. Through the guidance of each teacher at Move, I've come to understand that the true essence of yoga isn't about achieving perfect poses, but rather about the journey and commitment. I'm deeply thankful to have found Move in Melbourne. It's a community and a place of peace. My gratitude goes out to every teacher who has led a class at Move. Namaste.

The challenge welcomes anything you need it to be: a chance to develop and strengthen, take a well deserved pause, find that heated sense of renewal, and, be guided or motivated to feel your own connection. Thank you to Move and of course special thanks to Neo!

🫤 To be honest the facilities are great however it gets way too busy with no car park spots available at peak times. Also in summer they don’t seem to want to turn on the aircon.
