I started off with an introductory offer for 2 weeks and it changed my entire perspective of yoga. I used to think yoga was just about flexibility until I found later that it requires a lot of body awareness and strength. I then signed up for the 6 weeks beginner course because I wanted to learn more about the foundation of each pose and how to do them properly rather than just following through what I see in class. I find it so helpful because I can put them into practice and have a safe progressing journey with actual benefits and not injuring myself because of doing the pose wrong. Instructors are absolutely engaging and they're the main reason I'm looking forward to coming back to the studio. Kelly, especially is a sweetheart. Her cues are very clear and she would always demonstrate in class. She would also walk around during class to allign your body, which I find really important for muscle memory and knowing which muscle to activate for a pose. She's definitely one of the reasons why i am drawn to Little Mandarin studio. Despite that, the current membership options are a lil steep at the moment for what the physical studio is offering (shared building toilet with no shower) so I am really looking forward to their new studio to be launched and hopefully along with more affordable options for students like me. On top of that, it'd be nice if there are more classes available that cater to a 9-5 work schedule, for example 7am or 6.30pm yoga . Highly recommend to come and try out! You'll be surprised what yoga does to you mentally and physically.

I had trouble finding the studio as the signage isn’t obvious at all. I arrived 15mins before class was meant to start and there was no one at reception. I had to ask another student where the change rooms were and then had trouble with the lockers but no one was around to help so by the time I made it into the actual class I was just on time. I was then told off multiple times for being ‘late’ in front of the whole class and the instructor dismissed my explanation. The instructor also told me off for not wearing leggings instead of shorts even though nowhere on the ClassPass booking did it say you must wear leggings. Overall a very unwelcoming and uncomfortable experience.

It’s lovely place, teacher was very kind and helpful, at first I started with Ariel yoga with lei, beginner yoga course with Suellen, then alignment class with jowin. Teacher really helpful with adjusting my alignment & making sure everything it’s on the correct position. It’s really makes my yoga journey longer & more knowledgeable. Love it love it love it ❤️

It was amazing experience to made me so clearly why I’m teaching & how I teach. Jowing’s 100 hrs Aerial Yoga teacher training gave me such good confidence. Jowing is very supportive in training, gave us plenty opportunities to teach and learn, and I’m really appreciated this teacher training. I felt so much confidence to delivery my mind to everyone in the class for better understanding by cues, presenting, correcting, encouraging. And I felt so grateful when I see anyone in class had progress.

After practicing yoga for nearly 1 year, back to Sullen’s foundation courses, it made my body more sensitive. Focusing on minor body changes and being humble to my body are 2 most important lessons I’ve learnt.

This is where I have a complete change of what Yoga truly is, where I discovered more about my body and develop a stronger self. This is the place you want to be, to seek peace and calmness the midst of the hustling life.

LM offers beautiful studios for both reformer pilates and yoga. If you want to challenge yourself, certainly consider trying out their specialty - aerial yoga practice.

As a new yoga student, I have found Jowing and her colleagues to be outstanding mentors for someone like myself. The classes are fun and challenging and are tailored to the needs of everyone in the class. Having different styles of classes throughout the day are really helpful as well. The Little Mandarin Yoga studio is conveniently located a short tram ride from the CBD and very easy to get to from around the local area. Highly recommend that everyone gets down and gives it a try, you won't regret it!

My first Yoga class was at Little Mandarin Yoga and I love it. The overall ambience of the studio is relaxing, friendly, and cosy. (I enjoy a cup of tea they serve esp. after hot flow class ;p) I started with 6-week Foundation classes as a beginner, which let me know Yoga’s basics like how to do each pose, how to use your body in twists, how to move with breath, etc. I must say, it was the best decision I have ever made to my body. The basic course helped me a lot, preventing unnecessary injuries in my later practice. And I’ve done what I thought I couldn’t do after Jowing’s coaching, the results came as a surprise to me, she is so patient with us. I’m realizing any new exercise should start with the right guidance and good team, I am lucky. Thank you, Little Mandarin Yoga. Now, I’ve scheduled my Yoga classes every week after trying both of Mat and Aerial Yoga with other instructors. They’ve been holding various events and workshops in the community, and it looks interesting.

I started with aerial yoga with them a few years ago and started to learn about alignment and flow. I feel I was able to progress throughout the years and got to know my own mind and body better. Classes are very innovative and sequences are full of the teachers' unique understanding of the sport. I benefited a lot from the practice. Environment is very nice, spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend it!

Couldn't ask for better Yoga teachers and Pilate instructors. Bought a winter pass and have been improving a lot since day one. Everyone in Little Mandarin is supportive including the regular students. Highly recommend for Ariel Yoga, hot yoga and pilate classes :)

I first came across Little Mandarin on ClassPass app when I visited Melbourne on a holiday. Fast forward a few years later, I moved to Melbourne and this is now my go-to yoga studio. The teachers are amazing, and the beautiful studio is in a very convenient location.

I've attended the Vinyasa and Reformer classes here for over a year. I love this studio and it is my go-to. The classes are the perfect difficulty — difficult enough that they push you to improve (and you can see your improvement!), but not so difficult that you want to give up and quit fitness forever. The studio is calming, the bathrooms are clean, the teachers are friendly. I've only good to say!

Amazing! Popped in from Sydney and the teacher was beautiful. Dynamic class. Slow and then more challenging /dynamic. Soft and spiritual aspirations / guidance. a stunning studio. Thank you for sharing that there is more to yoga than asana!

Clean studio in the best location you could ask for. Super easy to book through class pass. I tried the pilates class. I think pilates wasn’t for me😂 I’ll try the yoga class next time!

Went to Aerial Pilates with Jin Xiong, she was an awful instructor. Didn’t assist at all. Didn’t help me adjust the equipment at all. But she did help all the other students. Not sure if this was a race thing or she is just an awful person. Me and my friend were left to fend for ourselves. Don’t go if you want to be left to do poses unsafely and be disrespected.
