Gosh I love living and working in Melbourne. Why? Because our baristas are brilliant. And the barista at the Little Collins Street cafe are superb. There are four stores around Melbourne - this one plus Carlton, northcote and Collingwood - three well known ‘foodie’ parts of Melbourne. This cafe is for the grab a coffee, drink it and go or grab a coffee and go. You can add a sweet treat to have with your coffee as well with a few tantalising danishes or croissants ready and waiting for you. You can stand and sip, sit and sip or even sit outside and sit on simple seating. Staff are absolutely wonderful. So helpful and always with a big smile. There are also a number of coffee related accessories available as well as good coffee beans for you to take home and try for yourself. Wheelchair friendly. Pram and stroller accessible. Plus reusable cups encouraged. Well worth a visit coffee lovers.

Decent coffee, horrendous service. The stuck up barista acted like she was doing me a favor by serving me at the checkout when I wanted to buy a bag of coffee. Like doing her actual job was some unreasonable imposition. And no, it wasn't especially busy and she wasn't flustered or something, she was clearly just above it all. Not going to bother going all the way to everyday coffee any more when other shops closer to home will at least show basic courtesy when interacting with another human.

Coffee only. More on the acidic end when we prefer a more roasted chocolatey blend for espresso. Nice quiet spot - but seating clearly designed to ensure quick turnover. Not comfortable. Glass of water provided with coffee turned out to be effervescent mineral water. Interesting - and a surprise!

Cute and neat coffee spot. The girls were very welcoming, especially since I walked in a 3:50 PM minutes before closing. Fixed me up with an amazing V60 pour-over and the pastry had a crispy crust and soft interior

I’ve never had a bad coffee from midtown, every time I’m in Melbourne I go out of my way to duck in for my coffee fix! The vibe is great, the coffee is smooth and tasty no matter how you have it, they have water, both sparkling and still on tap for customers and the staff are pleasant enough. I like the fit out of the store, it’s very simple looking with a industrial type vibe and they seem to play good music every time I go in.

A cup of coffee here is $4.95. There is was wheelchair access. The aroma & taste of the coffee is wonderful. There were no actual tables - just a couple of bench-style areas 2 sit on. It's not a place 4 conversation per se; more 4 getting a needed hit.

Haha what's to say any cleaner it would be a hospital. Nothing out of place not a cup not a spoon . Always busy with local upmarket crowd & is small so Verry limited seating. Prices up there on the high side considering how small the take away cups are. I ordered a large flat white 3 sugars. Shaw took a while I think the beans were coming from Brazil. When it was ready I was wondering where the rest of the cup went or did they just shrink it good way to make profit. friendly staff but hey guys I can't mix the sugar with my fingers. Or did they forget to add. anyway was to strong & bitter hence were is the sugar in such a small cup

After reading about Everyday I was excited to visit the cafe. Their CBD branch is small with no tables, but has bench seating along the window and sides. Unfortunately my visit was a very middle-of-the-road experience. Staff were pleasant, the cafe space was fine, and the coffee was okay - ordered a flat white. It tasted very weak and I felt it needed (or was missing) an extra shot, and the milk was a bit watery. I also felt the cafe lacked ambience- Patricia has a similar seating/ bench space but has an incredible vibe. Sadly for my $4.50 I expected a bit more .....

Quality coffee, quality people, quality pastries. As a former Melbournian (& now only visiting occasionally) Everyday is the go-to, must visit for daily coffee needs whilst staying in the city. If you have more time, sit down, enjoy a coffee and the view of bustling Melbourne streets.

Ordered a soy coffee here recently and I hate to say that it was really terrible. I usually like Everyday Collingwood but this one was so bitter it was nearly undrinkable. Hopefully it was a one off.

I was in desperate need of a coffee after a late night of comedy. A smooth and almost creamy large flat white hit the spot. They have a simple seating arrangement which is nice and the staff are friendly. I will be back each day until I have to leave town.

Girls on today unfortunately made myself and my partner the weakest cappuccino. No pattern on it either. I’m in Melbourne- isn’t that a minimum?? Coffee didn’t look or taste good at all

Coffee was awesome! There is not much sitting space, and no tables. So, I would recommend bring a KeepCup just in case. They do prepaid coffee cards here.

More of a takeaway coffee place than dine in as they offer limited seats. Surprised to see some people experience bad service coz I thought it was extremely friendly. Good coffee and enough options of pastries and cakes. Can't complain.

This place and the staff are a bit rude and wanky. Sometimes you have to wait a little too long to receive your order. I tried a coffee with almond milk from there once and it tasted like what I imagine dishwater would taste like. Have only been here more than once due to coffee meetings which I always try to get out of.

    the best coffee in town

  • 3/5 Mark M. 5 years ago on Google
The place looks nice, the coffee is serviceable, the service is okay. Everything is okay- the price is a bit steep, but I guess it's in the centre of the city, so it's expected? Also, it's not the kind of place that seems suitable to getting coffee at- it feels like having a coffee there isn't really the best experience. And at that point, there's so many options, why not go elsewhere? A thoroughly average coffee shop
