👍👍 Vegan jaffles to die for! I had the spicy vegan pulled beef jaffle, and the vegan meat was so spot on, the texture was just like pulled beef. I accompanied this with a batch brew which was freshly brewed and also great. Service was lovely. Seating was available inside of outside undercover the alley... 100% vegan. I love supporting fully vegan places. Made even better when the food is tasty and prices are reasonable. Found this on our fist day and returned everyday of our stay. Great little place. Amazed at the selection and flavours they offer in such a small place. Happy to see that they are moving to bigger and better accom down the road. I found out what a jaffle was and it's a sandwich made in a sandwich press, not to be confused with a toastie. The coffee is closer to the flavour I enjoy too! Chocolatey and naturally sweet. They also do a small selection of sweet treats, which I haven't tried yet, but look like they should be delicious. All made in house. Would highly recommend checking this place out if you're in Melbourne looking for a vegan snack. I look forward to visiting again.

Vegan heaven in a laneway! Try the chicken & pineapple toastie, a soy latte, & vegan cupcake, served by friendly staff. Honestly worth a trip into the city just to sample this cruelty free deliciousness!

A hidden gem! I wish I would’ve stumbled across this place sooner. They have amazing toasties and most of the menu can be made gluten free by switching the bread. They also have vegan hot chocolate with vegan marshmallows! Great place to get food and coffee on your way to work.

Been coming here three times since I arrived in Melbourne less than one month ago, just.. loving the 100% plant-based concept in such simplicity, and so Aussie, too. Jaffles and coffee. Tried the chicken & spinach and their kimchi beef jaffles and probably will try more flavors on my next visit! From those 2, I loved the beef kimchi more. Simple yet satisfying. You should try, too! The only downside was the location is kinda in a dead alleyway so the atmosphere isn’t that great, and very less seatings inside the store itself. Updating my review as they apparently have more seating area next door! Also, tasted their spicy pulled beef: perfect for taco lovers!! Those pickle jalapeños are 🥵 but in a good way!!

I have tried their pulled beef jaffle and spicy sausage jaffle and both were amazing, not just as vegan food but probably the best jaffles I ever had. The flavours are robust and balanced and the portion is very generous. Oat latte is great as well, super creamy and strong.

Vegan croissants!! Very friendly service and staff, excellent variety on the menu, plenty of seating, and surprisingly quick service. My kids had a very hard time deciding what to order. The (non-Dandies) vegan marshmallows with the hot chocolate were great and such a nice touch for the kids. European cafe feel in a covered arcade off the busy street and there were several chic looking people doing stereotypical European cafe things (reading a paper book, writing in a blank notebook) — definitely not a touristy spot.

INCREDIBLE vegan jaffles (toasted sandwhiches) The menu changes often and every selection I have had is tops! The cheese melts, the mock meat is very realistic and don't forget the Vego or Kresho bars!

I love this place. Big flavours from a small a cafe in the heart of the CBD. They definitely know how to mark an amazing coffee and out of this world toasties. Definitely recommend it when you’re needing a break from all that shopping. All which are vegan friendly, I decided on the chocolate brownie this time.

Don't get me wrong I loved UK when it was a hole in the wall....but now that you have opened up the new place its nice to be seated inside and outside with space to move around. Had the beef and kimchi sandwich which was not bad. I think I would probably go for something less heavy as I didn't enjoy the texture of the faux beef. This would not deter me from returning though!

Great Jaffles, great price, great coffee, great location, great staff. I think it's pretty great! It's all vegan, they have gluten free bread for the toasties too. My wife had the best almond latte she has ever had from here.

I tried the vegan croissant, the vegan mushroom and spinach jaffle and the ham and cheese one. The mushroom and spinach was definitely better for my taste. But everything was good. Nice staff and extensive menu. The atmosphere is not what I like but the street is quiet. Inside of shop is quite small. They have a terrace seating area outside too.

AMAZING spot for vegan toasties, sandwhiches, and various pastries! Whenever I stay in Melbourne I make the effort to go for breaky and I am always left missing it dearly when I leave. Creative flavour combos and beautiful coffee! A must try!

Union Kisok most definitely lives up to its reputation! Has the mac and cheese pepperoni jaffles and it was absolutely delicious with its oozing cheese and crispy bready exterior. 10/10 would go back again. There's so many diffeent jaffles I want to try!

Amazing vegan jaffles :) Haven’t tried all of them so I can still have an excuse to go almost every single week! Very friendly staff, delicious coffee and overall great chill vibes. The one with chicken & feta cheese is to die for 🤤 Highly recommend!

This place is the best. Hadn't been in a while and got the eggs benedict special. It was heaven. Wish I worked nearby!

Vegan cheesy jaffle dream in the heart of Melbourne CBD! The tiny but super friendly Kiosk serves some amazing hot toastie and vegan coffee. I enjoyed the spicy Vegan beef jaffle served with salsa and jalapeno. The soy chai latte was really good and the Mocha was outstanding too. Loved that the Kiosk is trying to be environment friendly by serving coffee in biocups with the caps that were made from plants and compostable.

Beyond Meat Cheeseburger Jaffle- best thing I’ve ever eaten!

Hidden inside one of the many alleys in Melbourne, this small toastie shop serves up deliciousness. The toasties, or jaffles as they call them, were hearty and plentiful. We ordered the tomato, cheese, and dijon toastie and also decided to try the roast veg and chicken feta sandwich. Both were solid toasties, although the chicken on the second jaffle wasn’t as tasty, but the feta compensated for that. The dijon on the first toastie was a bit too overpowering. The service was great, although the toasties did take a while to be served. With minor details, it remains an overall solid place for some breakfast.

Really delicious and small vegan friendly jaffle Cafe. The food is really great and affordable! The service is top notch as well. I ordered the Korean kimchi jaffle and chai oat latte. The Jaffle was delicious but could use more kimchi imo! Deducting 2 stars bc it's very small so not much space to eat inside and the chai latte wasn't great. Other than that it's a wonderful vegan Cafe :)

Oh my god this place is vegan heaven on earth. I have been here twice in the last week and it never disappoints! From the coffee to the jaffles, the yoyos and the brownies, these guys don't miss. Do yourself a favour and stop by the next time you're strolling around the CBD, you'll be happy you did! I wish I had known about it a long time ago.

Absolutely amazing! At first I was thinking.. How good could toasties be? Well. They speak for themselves. Wow. The tofu scramble one and the Korean one are absolutely delicious. Also best croissant I've had in sooo long!

This is my second visit and I'll come back to try some of the other jaffles for sure! Good price for a well-sized portion on the go or to have in their cute little space 🤗

The proof of the (mushroom, basil, spinach) jaffle is in the eating… Or maybe it’s in the repeat visits? Croissant, Baked Beans and Cheddar, Veg Bolognese Garlic Butter + Mozz…

Great coffee - they use happy happy soy boy mylk which tastes great. I had the Bolognese jaffle and loved it. Can't wait to come back when I'm in the city next!

A cute little kiosk offering delicious vegan jaffles, as well as vegan treats. We had the spinach and feta and the scrambled eggs and it was absolutely delicious. You wouldn't believe it was vegan

Such a cute and fun place, I feel like it's very Melbourne to have a tiny store in a laneway. So many wonderful vegan options to choose from, I tried both the tofu scramble special and the Bolognese jaffle and they were delicious.

Meal @ Union Kiosk. . Established before February 2016, Union Kiosk is a hole-in-the-wall cafe, serving wholesome 100% vegan breakfast, brunch, and lunch. . Ambience at Union Kiosk is cozy and casual, with a handful of indoor and outdoor seats in the small place. Most folks order takeaway. . Service at Union Kiosk is friendly and efficient, with staff taking and fulfilling orders quickly and promptly. . Food at Union Kiosk is Austalian cuisine, focused on jaffles or toasties, with a good range of options that are completely vegan. Portions are sized for individuals, and are designed to be filling and satisfying. . The Chai Latte (AUD $5) here has a beautiful fragrance, sweet spice earthy milky on the nose. . Their Hot Chocolate (AUD $5) is among the best, with a large warm mug of drinking chocolate topped with cinnamon powder and chocolate powder for greater depth of taste. The hot chocolate is thick and rich, with robust chocolatey sweet spice milky flavour, yum. . Their Jaffle Baked Beans & Cheddar (AUD $10) is a traditional home-cooked version, made with a filling of warm soft baked beans in tomato sauce, layered with gooey cheddar cheese. . Bite into the crisp toasted jaffle white bread garnished with sea salt crystals, and you get a burst of the ingredients, carrying vegetal earthy salty sweet cheesy flavour. Surprisingly, the jaffle baked beans & cheddar is more filling than it appears to be. . Their Jaffle Tofu Scramble, Vegan Ham, Cheddar, Hollandaise (AUD $11.50) is a modern vegan sandwich, with crisp toasted jaffle white bread garnished with sea salt crystals, holding a filling of soft tofu beancurd scramble, tender vegan ham, gooey cheddar cheese, and creamy hollandaise sauce. . This jaffle tofu scramble, vegan ham, cheddar, hollandaise sandwich carries mild grainy sweet savoury salty sour tangy earthy flavour, a novel contrast of tastes that doesn't overwhelm.
