We arrived at 2:30pm on a Saturday and tried to order some food. He said "no food this late". I asked "how about you toast these (ready-made) sandwiches in the sandwich press for us? And he so kindly obliged. They were not great - everyone knows a toastie needs butter on the outside... except him. No atmosphere - not a place to dine in, it seems. More aimed at take-away. Coffee was good. We won't be back.

I would like to give this a 3.5 for food/drink as there was a genuine attempt at inventiveness along with some standard fare. Our group of 4 was well attended to by the hosts - playing chef/waiters Seating is limited. Though the lunchtime crowd on this particular Tuesday was catered for satisfactorily. A big plus for Soho is the lack of competition in that strip. If you are a local it's worth a visit.

My normal stop when I drop my daughter off for tutoring on Wednesday...nice people however I was sitting round for 20 mins since my order of scrabbled eggs the hot chocolate took 3 mins...anyway had literally 5mins before I had to go...still no food so I paid for the eggs anyway...and there werent many people in the cafe so it should have been a quick job...I could see them sitting there (btw they looked good) on my way out so I paid $14 for zero as time got to me..the staff were great but just need to concentrate more on their customers as opposed to being immersed in conversations, just an observation as the staff were friendly.

Great friendly genuinely nice people and food is simple, unpretentious yet tasty. Coffee is good and service is very friendly. I will definitely recommend. Kids friendly. Check out the shskes. My new favourite local cafe for my strong soy latte and weekend brekkie. Love it!!! I'll be back. (C/O Arnie!!!)

Nice local place for a quick coffee - friendly staff but nothing outstanding with the food and coffee on offer.

Busy cafe. Coffee ok. Service disappointing. Watched as they served all the takeaway coffee orders and some regulars having in, all of whom ordered well after us. Waited 15-20mins for 2 coffees. If not a regular, don’t bother. Won’t be back.

Walked in and were ignored by staff. Sat down and no menus on tables. Found a menu at the counter. Very few options. Not worth considering. Go anywhere else. Their reviews all obviously faked.

Charging $5 for a small coffee because of min. card purchase. Rip off for what is pretty average coffee. Food is pretty good though.
