Cafe Coffee shop

👍 Lovely cafe with wholesome vibes just out of Melbourne Central. I had a Matcha Latte and avocado bagel. It was tasty and a generous serve. Staff were nice and welcoming. Cold brew was on the menu, which is a nice for something different if you don’t want a standard coffee. People often mention coffee, good, nice, cafe, latte, bagel, friendly, great, Melbourne, cheese,

Alright, good things first, this is a little coffee/ boulangeries shop that you can walk by and miss. They have good selection of sandwiches and sweets. I would say their coffee is the best I had in Melbourne, it is well balanced; hats off to the friendly barista. On that note, many reviews describe Fabian as rude. I disagree but I know why they do. He comes out as dry and inhospitable. I think his character is that, I did see him smile and he has a good one. Fabian, you have a good shop here, in my opinion, in this business putting on a smile and friendly body language costs almost nothing and goes a long way, isn't enough that the coffee is dark ;)

Not a bad place for a quick brekkie. Stopped by for a few coffees in the past which were really delicious but thought I’m gonna give the bagels a go. When with the smashed avo bagel and an iced matcha latte. Bagel 💥💥💥💥 could have been more seasoned. Fully relied on the saltiness of the cheese. Matcha latte 💥💥💥💥💥very delicious Music 💥💥💥💥💥very chill Space💥💥💥💥could have done with slightly bigger tables and more space per person. Chocolate chip cookie/muffin 💥💥💥💥💥 banging

As a regular coffee drinker and a city weekly visitor, I try to have various coffee from different shops in CBD area, and last week I went here. Lt. Nic is located in a prime area and always..always full when I passed by in the afternoon. Last Saturday, finally I could sit down sipping my coffee here. Nestled in the hussle bussle CBD, this little shop is best for to go coffee. I guess this is also suitable for morning person who rush for work as it opens 7AM in the morning. However, if you're in the area during weekend, this place is a good one to get nice coffee.

Got the latte here which was pretty good. The coffee is great, not too bitter, and mixed quite well with the milk, or the proportions were great as it doesn’t taste very milky and you can taste the hint of coffee. Staff here was really nice and friendly too, and it has a pretty nice sitting area.

Cute little cafe! Came for a coffee on a rainy afternoon and found their Chai latte was excellent. Cappuccino was also great in taste. The staff was so polite and friendly with prompt service. Price is also very reasonable. Highly recommend this cafe to all coffee lovers in Melbourne.

I got a chai latte, and a bacon and egg bagel, and my manager got a donut, hot chocolate and another bacon and egg bagel. The bagel bread has a good level of salt, and a very crunchy crust. The bacon is good and the egg is ok (as it is fried and I just prefer mine more runny), and I wish it had a little bit more tomato relish. The hot chocolate was really good and my chai latte was a little on the sweet side but it did have cinnamon on it so that was good. Amazing atmosphere, a super cozy get away from the crowded city.

Nice coffee and matcha latte, the walnut brownie and cookies and cream sweets were one of a kind, but a tad sweet if you don’t have a sweet tooth. Ham egg and cheese quiche was really nice! Nice ambience and cafe decor.

Great coffee and the best almond croissant I’ve ever had. Feedback: the female staff could be friendlier Edit: for the ice coffee they do not put ice cubes and just the ice cream. More coffee and less diluted as a result.

I couldn’t help but eat this cheese bagel and coffee with oat milk before taking a picture for this review, because I was enraptured by the flavour and warmth of both! Combined with the cozy atmosphere and convenient location, Lt. Nic has become my favorite cafe to stay with in 2023 so far! I look forward to having more coffees and bagels here.

I like the atmosphere here, Just find a spot and enjoy the scene. It is very cosy with Free wifi and nice music in the background. All day special was really good deal, the BBQ sandwich was so so nice, (100 times better than fast food), probably the best sandwich Ive had. The bread was really crunchy and fresh. Hot chocolate is very rich. Highly recommend place to go!!!

Best almond latte! They get it perfectly right every time with a smile. Plus little delicious cookies (they change up) orange flavour is one of my favourite as it complements the almond latte perfect!!! 👌

Consistently amazing iced latte + hazelnut. Reasonable Melb prices. High quality establishment. They offer a variety of coffees, drinks, and snacks which are consistently delicious. Have been there multiple times and every barista makes the iced lattes soooo yummy (they’re perfect sweetness + strong espresso taste). However, I haven’t tried the food yet. Only downside is there’s minimal space to sit, but the upside is that most people get takeaway so there’s often seats available. Highly recommend this place.

I got a long black and salmon bagel. It was delicious. Love the coffee. The shop was easy to miss. I walked pass a few times when I go to Emporium but never had a chance to stop by.

Great little cafe on a very city street - it’s very easy to walk past. They use Code Black coffee beans which is a good sign. Coffee was excellent! Definitely the best coffee in this area of the CBD.

Cute little cafe. Ordered a bagel with cream cheese and jam and a flat white. Can’t complain. The guy at the counter was very friendly. Even the music was just right. Not too much. A go-to breakfast place in the city.

I have been here 3 x so far for takeaway matcha. The service was always prompt and I like how the listed menu prices are /actually/ what you pay (no extra charges). Also the cup sizes are clearly shown at the front. Menu is clear with all pricing unlike some others. I would continue to visit when I am in the area and would be interested in trying out other menu items.

I went this cafe at 15:30 on the Saturday but the cafe was not that crowded. I ordered the almond croissant and the long black. Long Black was very easy to drink, with no sourness or cloying taste. It also had a good depth. The almond croissant was warm and very tasty, The article was chewy and very sweet, but not sickeningly sweet.

Great customer service; owners welcomed me in with a smile! → Had the bagel with salmon and cream cheese. Bagel was toasted and warm, and there was a perfect amount of salmon and cream cheese. → Coffee was strong and robust! → Was the perfect cafe to sit down and have a breather!

A great place to sit and chill or get takeaway coffee. Being in Melbourne, the coffee is great. It’s priced about the same as most other places - $4.50 for a regular chai latte, for instance. There’s a great vibe and it is pretty much exactly what you would envision in a Melbourne café. There are a couple of seats inside, but only for small groups of people (mostly pairs). Staff were really nice. Would definitely recommend stopping by for your caffeine fix.

I ordered a flat white and an almonds crroissant. I asked him the coffee to be served in a mug, but it was rejected. He said he can’t use a mug because he would close the shop in 30 minutes. While he was saying that, he had no apology, no eye contact with long face. As you can see, the crroissant was served in a paper bag, with no fork and knife. Coffee and crroissant was not bad not good, just normal flat white and crroissant, but the service was the worst. I recommend you do not visit in 30 minutes before closing, you will never be welcomed.
