Came here on Tuesday steak night. $25 gets you a butchers cut steak, chips and salad and a drink (I chose the hazy IPA, fantastic choice on tap). All in all I was very satisfied, the only small complaint I have was I wished the steak was a thicker cut. I estimate it was about 250gm, cooked to my liking and the mushroom sauce had excellent texture and flavour. Loved the decor, the staff were professional and the food came out reasonably quick.

It was quite cold and chilly even indoors because the wind comes through the main door which is never shut. Croquettes were okay, not much meat inside despite the product description. Overall the venue is very aesthetic and nice to look at Nd the drinks are amazing. But the food, I can’t rate 5 stars without trying the Parma and the other dishes maybe next time.

Great pub in Richmond. There are many pubs in Melbourne especially in Richmond. The bridge hotel is the one of my fave pub. They offer great value of “what’s on” specials. I really enjoy their Parma Day ( every Wednesday from 4pm $20). They offer “Happy Hour” 4-6pm. So if you have their Parmi during their happy hour, amazing deal!! I also like their customer service, always warm welcome with nice smiles and not only friendly but also helpful. I love pubs. I frequently go to this pub because I feel good every time after I leave. This is the most important thing for “pubs”. I highly recommend this place.

We went there with a couple of our friends on Saturday night and we got beer and a cocktail. They had a different species for dancing or watching football games. Things were good enough just needed more attention to the toilet

Ok food but nothing amazing. Chicken burger nowhere near as good as other Richmond venues. Braised beef barely warm but tasted good. Enjoyed the live music on a Sunday evening.

A group of us came to the Bridge Hotel to celebrate our friend’s birthday on a Saturday evening. We had booked a private room upstairs. The private room was secluded from the rest of the restaurant so we were happy about that, but it was incredibly hot and did not seem to have adequate ventilation (despite it being 20C outside, it was about 30C in the room). Unfortunately, the windows were painted shut, but we were able to open the door which gave us some relief and fresh air. Among the group, we ordered a range of menu items such as chicken parmigiana, crab spaghetti, mushroom gnocchi, fish and chips, arancini balls and drinks. Overall, the portion sizes were very generous. The chicken and chips were salted to perfection. I did receive feedback from the table that the gnocchi was ‘nice’ but a bit bland and could’ve done with more flavouring and salt. Nevertheless, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Bridge Hotel. The staff were efficient and helpful. And overall, we were pleased with the quality of the food, and timeliness that it was served to us. Thank you to the Bridge Hotel!

Vibe and atmosphere is great. Good place to have a few drinks with mates.. my only thing is food isn't the best for what you pay. But it doesn't ruin the experience as it is a classic pub menu but with a great atmosphere

A pub at the Yarra River end of Bridge Road. The service was good and friendly. They have rotating specials each day, including a happy hour. On a Thursday, it's 2 for 1 Aperol Spritzers, which is fun. I had chicken parma, which was really tasty, and the chips and salad were OK. My partner had beer battered fish n' chips, which was a hit. The fish was tasty, although a bit greasy for me. I like the laneway in the middle of the pub, it's very Melbourne lol. There is a main bar and a separate dining room that may have been air conditioned? I didn't go in there. The beer selection on tap was ok. A lot of commercial beers Overall, it's a good pub.

I have been there before for dinner. Most recently there for a function that got put together last minute. Good Bar Staff, good waiters / waitresses. Fantastic food and a great space to catch up with friends and family.

Zac and Cohen make a great team. The communication leading up to our event was exceptional. We have hosted numerous events in the past, but this year's was particularly well-coordinated. During the evening, everything went smoothly thanks to Cohen's attentiveness and exceptional effort. I couldn't have asked for a better duo to assist us. Although I expressed my gratitude on the night itself, I want to reiterate how fantastic and genuinely appreciated your hard work and dedication were. Thank you again and all the best for the future.

I booked a pre-wedding dinner here for some friends and family that travelled from interstate and mentioned this in the notes of the booking. I was blown away when I arrived. The Venue team had given us a room at the front of the venue with signs up congratulating me and my partner as well as welcoming my guests. This was such an incredible touch, as a lot of our guests were meeting for the first time. From there it only got better. The staff were so wonderful and welcoming. Nothing was too much for them. They made it such an easy going and casual experience, exactly what we were hoping for. The food was also a huge hit. Thank you so much to the team. The effort you all went to made a huge impact on making our wedding weekend something to remember!

Really lovely spaces to sit at. The staff were really nice. My husband and I have recently been to London and our first impression was "very London". The service was really good. We just had a small bite to have with our drinks and what we had was perfect.

Visited the Bridge Hotel for Sunday Roast and at 5pm, there was still some left. The waiter seated my friend when she arrived and came back 5 minutes, asking us who told us we could sit at that table. We enjoyed a half chicken with root vegetables and gravy, no mash or roasted potatoes. The chicken was delicious and the portion was huge but really missed the mash to make it a proper roast. It is quite cold in the restaurant as there were no lighters for the fire, maybe a better atmosphere in the bar where there was a beautiful acoustic set happening.

We went for dinner. The food was okay, but the service was terrible. We ended up heading to the bar to have to order our food as the waiter wasn't anywhere to be seen. When they finally came around to take our order, our food was coming out. Pretty much an hour after ordering. Wouldn't eat here again.

What a shame based on reviews we looked forward to going there. It all started great very nice greeting and initial service entre really nice but then it fell apart main of steak salad and chips was poor the chips were cold they felt like they were for lunch but it was 7pm, the medium steak was overdone burnt around the edges dry and Luke warm salad limp and dry. I think I have been there twice first and last makes 2

This is a great cosy little funky pub which has really come into its own. Great set up with a nice restaurant area and an inside/outside alley way feel and proper bar area. Also has upstairs function and extra space to which is cool and retro. Staff are always friendly, although not always the most attentive. Food is really good serves and fresh ingredients. Menu has plenty of great options with pub classics to healthy salads and warm sharing things too. Great drinks options too which you'd expect from a lub. Worth a visit and bite for sure

Constantly evolving, forever an Eastern staple. Whether it's a quiet Sunday roast with mum or belting out bangers on the D-Floor on a Friday - The Bridge Hotel offers those looking for a traditional pub experience but with a little twist.

Greate vibe, welcoming staff and amazing interior design. It’s a piece of art. I personally enjoyed the way they put things together. The food is good but a bit pricy for the portion size. I really like the ginger beer on tap (you can’t find it everywhere). Definitely recommended and worth trying if you are in Richmond.

Sat at the bar for a cheeseburger. Delicious! Staff were incredible and not only responsive but anticipated our needs. When noticed we were eating but not ordered drinks he came to check if we would like water because we had chips and might appreciate it with the salt 😊 Just a friendly, cool place to hang out, eat and feel welcome. Nice one!

I have no idea how this establishment has such positive reviews for their food. Went here for steak night with some friends. We received the thinnest, saddest, and cheapest cut of meat with a salad and chips. The steak was terrible with all the grizzly bits still attached, the salad was just a disappointing pile of rocket with only 2 tiny slivers of red onion and the chips were beyond ordinary with no flavour at all. Definitely not worth the $25. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else for a pub feed.

The Bridge hosted our daughter's 30th birthday party up in 'The Loft' and did a brilliant job. The venue was perfect and the staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and the service and food were great. Highly recommended.

Super pub! Great service and the vibe was next level. Staff were so friendly, great at their job and looked like they really enjoyed being there. What a positive difference that makes. Had a Wagyu steak which was top notch. Service was good, food came out pretty quickly considering we had a large group of people. My only complaint about the food itself was that I couldn't swap out the chips for mash potato but understandable.

Great local pub - meals were amazing with a good variety to choose from. Only issue we had was service was a bit slow but given it was over the New Year holiday period that is understandable. Will be back!

Hidden Gem Don’t let the outside deceive you , inside is modern and so well laid out. Not an extensive food menu but so appetising. We ordered the mussels, chicken strips and of course a bowl of chips, amazing quality. Accomodating to requests, I wanted to watch the NRL, they found an area and changed the TV channel without question. You can’t ask for more.

I really enjoy the Bridge - the vibe is immaculate. If you're looking for after work drinks on a Friday, this is the place to go. Take advantage of Happy Hour! Just note - it is set up to look like an indoor street, both sides are the same place.

Greatest pub! I’ve been coming for years for all sorts of things…. Grabbing a feed, boozy nights dancing, a quick drink after work when I lived a 5 minute walk away. I recently had my engagement party in the private rooms upstairs and it was brilliant, all my guests loved the space, the drinks are good, food platters were good, staff were really attentive. Shout outs to Zac and Jac, thanks again for taking such good care of us and letting us collect our stuff the next day!

Pub fare in quirky nooks and laneway spaces. Good food and great atmosphere. Lots of different areas and great for functions. Can bring kids without problem and dogs in the centre laneway area. We have been multiple times now with the family!

Bridge hotel is a great little spot for a feed and some drinks with friends it has a cool european vibe and has two levels with toilets on both levels. The food was great !! And plenty selection of beverages , probably don't want to spend your whole night here but good place to start off the night in Melbourne!

Great ambience. We went for steak night. They left us sitting for an hour without taking our order (apparently cleaning other tables was a higher priority for at least 3 wait staff). When the did come to take our order they said there were only 2 steaks left, which was pretty ordinary given we’d booked for steak night. Staff weren’t able to come up with an alternative offer. Probably give it a swerve in the future.

We were pleasantly surprised. Ended up here for a quick meal after a gig and the food was really really nice. We got an assortment of entrees and hubby got the vegan parma which was very tasty. Calamari was super soft and the Olives and pita entree was just yum! . Will be back!!

Had a family outing here before an event in the city and what a great place to be. Staff are friendly - nothing is too much work - food is yummy (we had steak with peppercorn sauce, chips and salad as well as the chocolate brownie). Atmosphere is trendy, spacious and modern. To drink, we had beers, alcoholic ginger beer and a white wine - all delicious and mostly local. Busy place with functions happening upstairs too. Thankyou so much for the great experience Bridge, we will be back.

Cute little set-up. Stella on tap is always great here! The food menu is pretty good as well, they used to serve beef short ribs on the specials menu and wish they would come on the menu permanently. The music upstairs can be a little too loud sometimes. Perfect for an afternoon session on the weekends or a drink after work.

  • 2/5 Jim I. 4 years ago on Google
The staff always great & helpful over the years as we have been coming to this great pub as locals, but unfortunately the food in the last few months has been disappointing. Being fair we still supported our favourite place but only tonight was enough last chance. The menu and possibally the chef has changed. Eg: They had great homemade parmas with chips & salad tonight it was frozen French fries frozen Parma and sad limp salad maybe prepared too early for dinner service. Before I was offered the Parma I had ordered the linguini and I love pasta but couldn’t eat more than two mouthfuls had fake smoke bacon flavour. We take many guests with us but we might try somewhere else in future.

Really quirky pub! Atmosphere and set up are great. Service is friendly. I would highly recommend for a drink! Maybe not do much for a meal. I ordered the Parma and it was very dry, not much Napoli sauce and the consists of the gravy I ordered for the chips was very runny like water.

Food was good and the service by the staff was fantastic. Has a good atmosphere and layout. Would recomend this place for a bite to eat and drink. As a whole we enjoyed a night out with our nearest and dearest. Security guards were so lovely. Helped me with a massive cake box and when they couldn’t find our reservation he promptly asked the manager to pop out and see me. Manager was great dealt with the reservation issues and was checking in on us the whole night communicating how much we have left on the bar tab ect. Great guy. A guest popped a glitter party cracker and I was questioned by another man as to why someone had done it. It was obviously annoyed which put a little damper on my night because we did call and check it was ok before hand. Thanks for a great night I will be back
