My boyfriend and I had breakfast here one morning. The staff were super welcoming and friendly. My boyfriend had the pancakes but with no berries which he thoroughly enjoyed, and I had the Eggs Atlantic which was so yummy! It was such a big serving too - I didn’t manage to finish it off. The prices were also super affordable and I will definitely come here again!

Nice little corner GEM of a cafe. Better ventilation would improve the experience tremendously especially when u are all dolled up n smelling nice from home and gg to the office. 😉 Ordered the Builders Burger. Fresh n delicious.

It was a great decision to start the day with brunch at C&B. Our smooth coffee paired so well with the surprisingly flavorful pumpkin roti and beef burger. Although I typically prefer my coffee slightly stronger, what made this place a 5-star one was the warm and friendly staff. Thank you for having us!

Breakfast was delicious - got the avocado toast on gluten free bread and added poached eggs. Very tasty and simple. The coffee is also good with great service. Great little place!

Recently I ordered a number of the grazing picnic platters for some small events for my birthday. For what I paid per head I received far more than I was expecting. The quality of the food was outstanding as was the taste. My friends are still mentioning different bits that they loved. Also, Helena was so flexible (with appropriate warning of a few days) when weather meant one event was changed. I highly recommend that for your next picnic that you order one of these. Delicious!

I can't recommend Corner & Bench anymore and here's why: Inconsistent portions for the same product. I love the salads here, they taste delicious 😋 and are super fresh. Stick to those and the service is lightning ⚡ quick too ( don't get me started on the line to order , we will be here from years. Safe to say it's chaotic at best ). But it all falls over depending on who doses out your salad. The photos below 👇 are of the same dish on different days. It makes me sad when I get handed my salad and it's "light". My issue may be isolated - hear me out. I get a large salad ( choice of 3 salads ) but I only ever like two of the salads on offer. I pay for the large, I get the large container but sometimes I only get enough salad for a small ( choice of 2 salads ). Maybe it's muscle 💪 memory or a training thing? I know what your thinking 🤔 maybe I was just lucky and now I'm getting the normal size? But I have compared with others and they have had similar experiences. Such a shame I do love it here 😭.

I got the From The Fields and it was pretty good. I would've liked more goats cheese, but that's just me being picky. Big portions too, so I left nice and full. Coffee was amazing and you can order via QR code at your table or at the counter. I look forward to coming back With my coffee and meal it was $19.8, which isn't bad in the CBD and portion size

The food was nicely cooked although the eggs benny was a little bland. Unfortunately, the cafe ran out of sausage and bacon when I visited which was such a shame as it would’ve helped make the flavour of the dishes stand out a little more. Otherwise, service was quite friendly and the outdoor seating is nice on a good sunny day.

Went for breakfast with a friend and shared the smashed avocado and from the fields with her. The portion is huge, and it's a hearty breakfast. The food is delicious, and coffee is good.

Had breakfast at this Cafe this morning. I would say the food and coffee was average. Prices were very reasonable.

My favourite place in the city to get a healthy, fresh, delicious lunch. I love their salads and Oh My God the MUFFINS!!! (berry white chocolate is definitely My go to Muffin)

Ordered two coffee and requested for almond milk for the latte. It was a long wait. Saw them putting regular milk into the latte and they realized it after pouring in some milk so they started adding soy milk in - like shouldn’t they just change the entire cup? Or did they think combining regular and soy milk will give me the almond milk taste? Weird much. We were in a rush so didn’t ask for an exchange. Only saving grace was the lady who took our orders at the cashier. Will not visit again.

I just adore this place. Delicious, varied, substantial, fairly priced and healthy food served by some of the hardest working people in the city! The owner (sorry I forgot your name) is such a gem and I really look forward to getting a giant mix of salads once a week.

We loved it here! Everything was very delicious and the waitress was overly friendly and nice.

The price of those salads have increased, which is understandable, but the portion sizes seem to have decreased.. i always get a small salad for lunch and it’s often packed very lightly

Had the B&E roll, was delicious and satisfying. Service was prompt and the staff were so lovely and accommodating. I would recommend for a tasty and good value breakfast or brunch.

My children and I were in the city and had breakfast here. The staff were really welcoming and so lovely to my children. The delicious food was a bonus. We all loved our breakfast and they have some fantastic pastries to choose from. Coffee was spot on as well. We will definitely be back.

The best chicken pie in the world (In the worrld Jeremy Clarkson voice).....this chicken pie is a problem....Now I have to have this every week in my life. This has even topped their usual delicious dishes

Really good food and super friendly staff! I was pleasant surprised by their butter chicken. It had a great kick!

The person who served me came off very aggressive when I politely asked if they sold matcha latte. He said 'nope don't believe in it, don't like it, you might as well order coke'. Apparently he thinks it's a 'trend' when matcha has been around for hundreds of years. I've never had such a rude encounter at a cafe/restaurant for wondering if they sell something. He could have said 'no we don't sell that here' but instead he gave me a speech on why matcha is bad. If that's your opinion that's okay but to lecture me on it and make me feel bad for wanting to order it is disrespectful. Very disappointing and off putting. Treat your customers kindly.

These meals are so delicious. Tastes homemade but better than anything I could ever make. The lasagna and chicken pie are delicious and desserts are to die for. We will be ordering regularly now! Thank you x

Ordered some meals online and everything was absolutely delicious, loved the beef lasagne, chicken pie. The kids loved it too. Great service. W definitely be ordering more meals and for family and friends

The staff here are exceptionally friendly and professional. The breakfast burger was delicious and very filling! You're able to order from your table (on your phone) which is a nice option to have.

I had to recover from surgery and ordered nutritious meals from Corner & Bench delivered to my front door (Tom yum soup, vegetarian lasagne and Malaysian chicken). I'm posting a review to thank C&B for my heartwarming and delicious meals - the tom yum soup yesterday was off the scale amazing !!! xx

Came in for breakfast during a busy period. Staff was overwhelmed with all the people coming in. Waiting time for coffee was longer than it was for food. Regarding the orders: I ordered an iced Long black, got a cup of steaming hot coffee. After I told the waiter that I ordered and ICED Long black, I was given a cup with ice cubes (maybe to make my own iced coffee?) Latte was nice. Pain du chocolate (3.5) wasn’t fresh and a little overpriced compared to the 4 times bigger almond croissant (5). Big brekkie was average, ok to share or to eat by yourself.

Most dishes are pretty typical. I ordered avo smash with poached eggs and enjoyed my brekkie. Poached eggs were cooked just perfectly. Tasty coffee (of course). Fast service on a Saturday morning.
