One of our favourite fully fenced dog parks. Two water fountains for dogs and humans, two bag and bin stations, prickle free grass is a huge bonus, plenty of seating and when the tress grow, there will be shade. For evening and early morning there is lighting, not enough the find the ball but enough to feel safe 😜🐶

Nice good big dog park. Lots of grass area, few trees and seats, a couple of drinking fountains for humans and their pets. It's all fenced off so they don't escape if your pet is a runner. Can be a little hard to get a park sometimes but my dog loves it there.

Not the biggest dog park but spacious enough for dogs of all sizes to run around. There's a seated area and shaded area in the middle for both humans and dogs.

My favourite park close to the Melbourne CBD. A lot of space for dogs of all sizes to run around l, make friends and exhaust themselves. It’s all fenced with 4 exits, 2 fountains and rubbish bins and roundhouse bags to clean after your dog. It gets quite muddy after rain so better wear gum boots or other shoes you don’t need anymore. Don’t wear white shoes 😅 Also be aware of holes in the ground. Easy to roll your ankle.

Excellent dog park. Easy parking, safe fence, has water and poo bags and lots of lovely shade and benches. We had a Lappy meetup here and it was fab!

PLEASE TEACH YOUR BABIES RECALL Love it here, only issue we've had in glass bottles being left and people not recalling their dogs. I know it's a park but you wouldn't let your dog jump up on people normally so please don't let them here. I have an 'invisible' disability and want to know people will call back their dogs and not knock me over or rapidly up my heart rate. We just wanna get along with everyone, so please have some consideration for your dogs surroundings.

Dog park is fully fenced and grass is well maintained. I forgot to bring my plastic bag but I'm glad that the park provides them. Dogs love running around in its huge area.

Clean, Fenced and Easy to Park Dog park in the heart of CBD. You can park on boundary road. Plenty of car parking. This Carpark is 7-8 mins from southern cross station. It is an off leash dog park. - It has benches for visitors. - Drink station - Bins - Small sand area - Lighting Is really nice place for fur kids.

Was a clean and secure dog area. Moderately sized area with plenty or room for even larger dogs to run around and ample parking for convenience. Well fenced with multiple entrances entrances at both ends of the area.

I love it here. Although at times owners can be careless (not cleaning up after their dogs or worse leaving them at the park unattended). Most owners are great and the dogs are fantastic.

I don’t have a dog. My best friend got a cute little Jug (Jack Russel Pug) and now she is here every single day! So when I want to see my bestie I often find myself at this dog park. I didn’t know there was such community at dog parks! Christmas barbecues, dog birthday parties! She has made a lot of genuine friends here and I’ve discovered all about that. I had no idea! Wilson is is the biggest dog here and he’s a big slobbering gentle giant! It’s really clean as all dog owners like to look after the place. It’s a secret dog lover’s world I never knew about. Are all dog parks this great?

Large fully fenced off dog park. Lots of friendly dogs there to socialise with. Would be nice if all owners would keep an eye on their dogs instead of letting them run wild. Drinking taps and bins around the fence line, which is great. Double gate system would a nice upgrade to the park, for the safety of our pets. Would recommend this park for owners who like dog parks.

I love Clayton reserve dog park - I think it's well kept - however it could do with some minor upgrades - such as double gates (which most dog parks have these days) and some signage about acceptable behaviour. Owners arrive and sit on their phones, not watching for their dogs who most often end up harassing other dogs.

A great inner city dog park. Once the trees grow taller and provide more shade, this will be an awesome five star dog park. There’s enough room to throw a ball, water fountains are a plenty, and it is fenced.

This park is securely fenced, has two water fountains and a supply of dog poo bags in case you forget to bring your own. The park is big enough for dogs of all sizes to run around and form their separate groups. The only down side is, the park has one sizable muddy spot that is almost permanently wet, especially after a rainy day, in winter (summer is ok), if dogs run through that muddy part they are off to a bath right after for sure.

Probably the best fenced dog park in inner melbourne. Grass is well maintained and dogs are friendly and well socialised. Plenty of big dogs and little dogs.

  • 4/5 Nelson C. 1 year ago on Google • 10 reviews
Summer is the best time to take your dog to play here. The park is fenced giving you the peace of mind that your dog won’t run away. It is very grassy in summer but can get very muddy in Spring and Winter when there are lots of rain. However in some days there could be quite a lot of large dogs whereby I wouldn’t feel too comfortable to let my little dog to run freely. Also bear in mind that not all dog owners are acting responsibly , there could be lots of poop here and there not picked up by the owners.

Wonderful dog park but watched a lady fall straight on her back and hit back of head because of huge holes. Council should monitor and maintain this special parks as not contribute to injury.

Neat little dog park. No small dog section but many seats and entrances. Cafe nearby

  • 5/5 Claire b. 2 years ago on Google
fantastic large area with friendly people and great facilities. 2 drinking fountains with empty-able dog drinking bowls. Solar powered night-lights and dog-proof fences. Just keep an eye on the gates, they are only single gates, not double gates like most dog parks. Shade is hard to come by at midday, but this is the quieter time before the 5pm rush. avoid 4pm onwards if your dog is not competent socially. These times are peak for larger dogs playing rough. Overall a fantastic experience!

Amazing local dog park. Park filled with lovely owners and even better dogs! Grass can get a bit muddy after a bit of rain, but easy to try and avoid them.

  • 5/5 Fahad Q. 1 year ago on Google
One of the best dog parks. There are plenty of dogs there to tire your dog out while you can enjoy a sip of coffee or have social chats. Plenty of parking around.

  • 5/5 Clare M. 1 year ago on Google
Fabulous dog park that attracts really nice dogs of all shapes and sizes. Can get quite muddy in the winter after rain so be sure to wear wet weather shows. Coffee shop next door is very friendly and parking is readily available.

People bring their dogs here from miles around to have fun. From tiny Chihuahuas to Great Danes, they all seem to manage to play together and in all the years I've been to this park I've never seen a fight amongst the dogs. I wish we humans could be as tolerant of differences as dogs are!

BEWARE! Aggressive man walks through every (work?) day at aprox. 4 PM (his words), looking for any excuse to kick a dog that barks at him. He described bringing a hammer to the dog's head that was barking at him. My first encounter with this guy, great park otherwise.

Great little dog park with a good sense of community. Have been coming for years and it's much better now they've added some new features and trees. Pick up of poop is pretty iffy, so watch where you step. As with any smaller park this size, you will find a small number of asshats who live in apartments, have tiny yappy dogs that only get let out or walked on weekends, and are extremely precious. Hint: if you hold your dog in your arms, this is you. If your dog was bred specifically for the penthouse, maybe find another place as most dogs are here to play rather than be coddled the second they get a sniff.

Unexpected surprise in the middle of North Melbourne. Great for got a and their owners as well as dog lovers. The only downside might be the lack of shade. It has the necessary amenities such as water and doggie do-do bags.

Our 4th visit so far. We have not visited other dog parks, so don’t have a comparison, but our dog loves getting to run around in a securely fenced off park with other dogs. Water available & plenty of waste bags available; I just wish a few pet owners would learn to use them, but the majority do the right thing and it’s mostly safe to walk around the grass. Would give 5 stars if there were double security gates.

If I was a dog I’d be pretty pleased to be here. Plenty of other dogs, some grass to defecate on (please bring your bags people!) and lots of space to fly around like a space cadet until exhaustion overwhelms me and I am forced to return home with my owners to nap on the couch and dream of schmacko’s.
