One of my favorite parks in Melbourne. Cool playground, lots of birds that you can feed and nice bbq area. ❀❀❀

Less unsupervised dogs running thru children's play areas would make this an awesome local gem. You cannot safely play ball with your kids as unsupervised dogs chase your ball & in our case bit one of our kids trying to get the ball. Owners couldn't care less. Total disgrace.

Dog poo everywhere, long queues for toilets every weekend (two toilets in total for the number of people in the images below), broken glass in kids sandpit and in grass, rubbish overflowing from bins regularly. Little effort with landscaping or creating atmosphere, trees badly looked after, dying & requiring replacement regularly. The playground has no cohesion or flow, it appears as though a council member has simply ticked some boxes in a catalogue rather than giving the area any professional thought. The single drink fountain in the park doesn't work properly.

Beautiful old garden in the heart of Richmond. Close to East Richmond Railway Station and Swan St. There's also a playground and public toilets on site.

We go here with our 2 year old after daycare and he loves it. Very kid friendly park and people also bring their dogs to the other end of it which he also loves.

Hidden, little gem of a park. Quite big and great for dogs, has a way down to the river and a great stop while going for a bike ride!

Amazing place next to my work for a quick walk. Its quite small but I love the trees makes me feel like I'm not in the city anymore. Nice big area of kids for a stop or for a picnic. Off leash dog park is nice too if you like that. I don't like dogs but most people are responsible so its not a problem.

I was driving past this nice little park the other day. It’s an off leash dog park. It looks like quite a few people walking around as well

Apart from the fact that it's a dog park and the name of the park is BARK-ly gardens (kudos to the person who came up with the name), it's an amazing little park to stretch your legs and take in some nature. Well-kept, many good doggos around, playground towards the other end of the park, and plenty of pigeons about doing pigeon stuff (you can get pretty close to them, they know no fear). Dog owners are generally good at picking up after their companions but you do see the occasional rogue present lying around (bagged or unbagged).

Great park one of the best in area. Varied equipment for kids of all ages. Big sandpit too. Safely away from the road made this a must do park

This park has it all; grass, trees, gravel, a playground where I talked my ex-girlfriend down from quitting her new job with no notice while pushing her on the swings. A truly magical place to get some perspective on your life. Dog friendly.

An inviting space and up to date kids area's. Toilets are in process of a much needed upgrade.

Beautiful place to walk the doggies, lots of trees, spacious, fresh air and I love the willows. No fences though so only bring your beloved pooch if he or she has good recall xx
