The best jogging track in the inner city, also has the Capital City Trail cutting through horizontally and city skyline views. A great place to invest in your 1 hour of exercise time.

A nice walking trail here, good parking options. The one critique I can provide is that no royalty was present, which is against the advertised title of this enterprise. However, the smoothness of the pavement was forgiveness in of itself.

Great to see all the work going on. It's changed so much since I was there for the last AFL Carlton game there so many years ago...good to see the VFL blues beat the cats. Augers well for the future

It's a large, open, and well maintained park just north of the city. There's plenty of open space for sports, as well as a gravel running track around the outside. Towards the north end of the park are playgrounds and picnic facilities with plenty of trees for shade. It's a great spot to cycle to with dedicated bike lanes currently being updated.

Love this park. There's a dog off lead section too. Plenty of exercise equipment points around the circuit. Nice to picnic about the pond. Haven't attended the bowls but looks fun too.

Attended for the AFLW game Coll vs Carlton awesome day and great to be back at Princes park for footy! The day was a massive hit of nostalgia for me! Seats were good (general admin) and food and beverage options were perfectly acceptable for what it was. I grabbed a chicken Schnitz with coleslaw burger combo for $15.

Best park in inner north. Dog loves it, lots of space to run around (humans and dogs). Always feels you can find a spot even when its v busy. Also running through sprinklers is fun in the summer

It was a great atmosphere and we are grateful for all those fanatical tiger supporters who helped make their inaugural game pleasant. The food from the venders was excellent for a suburban ground. A great way to finish the week!

I noticed it was toilets are sparsely provided. At opposite ends of a long park, a long walk from the carpark on Royal Parade side at least . No noticeable signs to indicate to us where they are. It's a big park good for all the dog walking and jogging and other activities.

Great park for a walk or jog around on the 3.2km tan track. It's flat and there are always others out for exercise to provide some incentive. Someone should come along with a coffee cart!

With a number of ovals, bowling and tennis clubs, a stadium and two pavilions, a 3.2 kilometre running track, children’s playground, barbecue and picnic facilities, lovely walks along avenues of elm and Moreton Bay fig trees, and dogs off leash areas, this really is a beautiful multi-purpose recreational park and a great place to relax, have a picnic, kick a ball, throw a frisbie, walk the dog or watch a game of footy.

My favourite park to run around, even so that I drive there. The park is 3.1km in diameter with pretty flat ground. It can unfortunately get pretty busy around the 4.30 / 5pm rush hour which is a pain when having to dodge walkers and people walking in pairs, etc.. overall.. highly recommended

    Great running training track.

  • 5/5 Adrian N. 4 years ago on Google
Lots of open spaces, especially for recreational purposes. Great running track for keeping fit, approximately 3.2km's all the way around. Huge expanse of green space for dogs to explore and venture about, including some dog off leash spaces. Home to a great football club who will again enjoy success in the next few years. C'mon you Blue Baggers

Princes Park is a large, beautiful space with lovely trees providing plenty of shade. The park is multi purpose so there is something for everyone down here! Easily accessible by the Number 19 tram or car parking around the perimeter of the park. Pack a picnic and sit and watch the world go by!

Now called Ikon Park, home of the Carlscum Football Club. My favourite memory is going to the social club after a win in the final round which meant Carlscum didn't make the finals.it was a great game and even better night as we took over the social club.
