πŸ‘πŸ‘ Great inner-city park. Has one of the best views of the Melbourne skyline, both day and night. Two decent sized ovals and with one being an off-leash dog area but sometimes there is sport on. Has a public restroom. The view here really is the main highlight. Really nice ground. We had cricket match there and its beautiful environment around the park as well. There were many other people watching the game and doing picnic as well. You can also see the view of melbourne city from upper ground( there sre two grounds with steps between them). Overall it was very good experience.

Great park tucked away in the suburban streets. Nice views of the city. The ovals have great views due to the terracing of the land. Children's playground with shade cloth. BBQs. Tables and chairs. Drink taps. Public toilets. Local tennis club also shares the park land.

Great park in the suburbs…I was pleasantly surprised to find this nice park just minutes away from my doorstep. It not only has a great view of the skyline but also has a good kid’s playground. A lovely place to have a quick picnic or a long catch-up with family/friends.

Often include this magnificent park in an evening stroll, when the Melbourne skyline begins to light up!

Beautiful views of the city, great sun set! I wish there was more room for picnics and gardens, 90% of the park is taken up by sport facilities meaning there is very little shady areas to sit.

Nice park and it's huge by comparison to other parks in the eastern suburb. Nice to walk around during the day and great for dogs

Very good park with well-kept ovals, only downside is the fact that the basketball court is very small and doesn't have much markings.

Great park, good for experienced joggers as the hills and drops are decently extreme. 2 large ovals. Dog meet ups in the morning at the oval. Great park for children and multiple very relaxing benches. Has a mediocre basketball court. Has great tennis courts. Great for long chats with friends with the ton of benches. And a couple of free bbqs. Very nice place 4/5.

Loved this slightly hilly park - really gave my heart the much-needed exercise. Lovely seeing pets walking and working out with their owners, young and old, alikeπŸ’œ

Recently I was near Anderson Park, so I decided to stop by and take four photos of a fuel receipt I had, and one photo of a hemp energy drink I had. There was a colony of ants there that seemed to be building a small shrine to their pagan God. I had immense respect for their 'one-for-all' mentality, and it demonstrated the power of collective spirit. If only we as a community could work together for such a collective end. But then the shrine fell down because the wind blew, and the ants realised their God was fallible. One of the ants wrote a book called 'Ant God is Dead'.

This park has a spectacular view towards CBD. Also it has a huge flat surface for playing in a large group. It feels so-real to sit there and have the whole city centre view.

**SAFETY CONCERN** Went to park with friend and our puppies. My gf’s dog was told to β€œPISS OFF” when her dog went over to some people having a picnic. 2h later my dog went over to a different group having a picnic and when I went over to get my dog the man stood up, towered over me, launched a tirade of verbal abuse at me including telling me to β€œF%!$ OFF” while his partner and their female friends cheered him on. What kind of man speaks to a woman like this? I hope lockdown is lifted soon so that people who don’t often use parks and are unfamiliar with the β€œpublic” nature of parks and sharing spaces with other people and animals can return to their former recreational activities.

Great park! Would be nice if people kept their dogs on a leash on the footpath though

Beautiful par in the heart of Hawthorn East. A nice view of CBD, lovely neighbours and quiet park to spend your time with the family. It has plenty of spot to park your car if you are driving to get to the park. It also has a playground for the children.
