Village Belle Hotel has quite a nice Parmigiana that ticks almost all the boxes! The Chicken used is 100% real juicy Chicken Breast with a GBD Crumb Coating sealing in all the moisture of that delicious Chicken Breast! Then on top it's blessed with what I consider to be a pretty impressive pub Sauce indeed, accompanied with that of course is some fresh Leg Ham as well as a Golden Brown Delicious layer of Melted Cheese!👌🏼 The Chips are also pretty good but unfortunately the salad was pretty average, All in all though I'd Definitely Recommend Village Belle Hotel for a ice Cold Beer or a decent pub Meal.

We dined at Village Belle tonight which was a tad disastrous given more than an hour after ordering I asked how long the food would be as we were in a 2 hour car park and they realised our order had been lost and not even put through. We had to reorder and I do commend them on giving us a 30% discount but by the time the food came we were so hungry we devoured it too quickly to really enjoy it. Great atmosphere but an unlucky experience tonight

Had a great dinner with friends on Saturday night. Was totally boring as usual but thankfully I was, the Parma was the best I think I have ever had. Service was so prompt it was scary but really polite and helpful. Noisy as, but hey why wouldn’t it be! Now back to the Parma. Moist interior crispy exterior. Great sale and chips, well another plate of those would have been nice !

We had great food here, especially the roasted Lamb, beautiful cooked. Great, size with vegetables. The only two things we unhappy about, as following There is no mint jelly sauce offered as the feedback from waiters it's ran out the day before. So why fixed it while the menu served roast lamb, especially it ran out 24hrs ago then there are time to fix it. Especially the Woolies just cross the road. We would like to change the order if we have been noticed. Second, the barmen served the wine always under standard line, it's a big no no to us. Even the waiter agree with us that it should be more. But we decided no more wines after two drinks. We have at least three people in this table who worked in hospitality industry, two of us are even the owner and manager in other Hotel and restaurants. We know what's a stander wine and serve. If the barmen don't want to listen, we will go somewhere else. Hospitality is always about service and experience. It's very very pity. But we do give the credit to the chef and one of waiter who are very good at table service.

Village belle is a nice place to come for a few drinks and a nice meal, today we had the lamb Sunday roast, it was massive in size we had to take half home. The amount of lamb and veggies there was potato, broccoli, Brussel sprouts, cauliflower, carrots, pumpkin, even couscous, this will be a regular for me. So amazing, with a glass of wine and two meals 75 dollars! Amazing

@villagebellehotel 📍St Kilda 🍅 Bruchetta 🥕 Vegetable Spring Rolls 🥟 Pork and Mushroom Dumplings 🍔 Wagyu Beef Sliders 🐷 Sticky Pork Baos The Village Belle is a heritage listed pub located at the end of the main Alcand St strip in St Kilda. It is an icon for the area and has been around since 1891! The double story venue has been beautifully renovated to a more contemporary style, featuring multiple different areas. Every Saturday from 12-2pm they host a Bottomless Musical Bingo Brunch for $70pp. Live acoustic tunes are provided by the amazing @mattybbradshaw. Each group is provided a music bingo card, where you can cross off the songs and win some prizes including a round of shots and a $100 Village Belle voucher. 🥇 The brunch is share style and we were all very impressed by the food - it was delicious! My favourite would’ve been the Sticky Pork Baos. The drinks on offer were a pretty decent selection and were made fresh to order, apart from the bottle of bubbles and OJ you get for the table on arrival. Our favourite drink was the Passionfruit Spritz. Up until now I could not confidently recommend a good bottomless brunch in Melbourne. This is definitely it! It was super fun, engaging, the food was good, the drinks weren’t watered down rubbish and the venue is just stunning. We will be back! ⭐️ 5/5 Bottomless Brunch ⭐️ 4/5 Food and Drink

Always a great spot in St Kilda, esp since the renovation - they're now doing a Saturday 'bottomless musical bingo brunch'. The food is more lunch type share plates than actual brunch dishes - and the dishes come out to share amongst the table. They did a good job of catering for allergies if you let them know when you arrive. Plus of course you can order (extra) off the regular menu. There's a good list of bottomless drinks including cocktails, beer and wine plus mocktails/softies. The musical bingo starts at about 1pm and Matty Bradshaw was the musician (FYI he's amazing). He really creates a fun inclusive atmosphere with the tables and we all had a lot of fun crossing off the well known tunes as he played the first few bars). Winning table gets a $100 bar card! This was so much fun - service, food and entertainment were all and we'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it! [invited]

I have always wanted to re-visit this hotel as i was a newspaper boy in the 70's selling the herald there after school. Firstly i had a meal in the bar before this last lockdown. Meal was sensational, very tasty and cooked how i asked. The bar staff were very friendly. Secondly, last night my partner and i went to the restaurant, once again both meals were terrific, and the staff very friendly. From the guy who met us at the door to the lady who served us. I highly recommend the Village Belle for a night out.

Went to the Village on Parma night (Thursday) . Great value large Parmigiana of your choice. Lots of chips , large salad. The service was friendly and accommodating and my son had a nice ice cream and soft drink accompanying the children’s meal. Tipped the waiter it was that good. To top it off they had live music. We’ll be back.

It was okay, there was nothing that stood out for me when I went. The interior is pretty, but nothing special. I ordered the cauliflower steak, and it was nice, but again, nothing that really stood out to me. My partner ordered the risotto with fish. The fish didn't taste fresh and you could tell it was frozen. I also put in a request about it being an anniversary, and nothing was done. I was a little disappointed because I don't understand the purpose of having a request box when making a booking online, if nothing is done. Mediocre to say the least, wouldn't find myself running to come again.

First time back at The Belle in over a year and what a difference. Friendly staff, the host was amazing upon entry, quick service at the bar. This all lead to a great night had by our group. The atmosphere has changed with a real positive, good vibe. Sorry we took so long to return, we will be back again over the Xmas & NY break

Just got back from an Xmas Day lunch .. 5 star experience .. greated with a free glass of champagne selection box for kids and a comp bottle of wine .. staff were superb attentive friendly and on top of everything.. we had layla and grania .. best service we've had in some time Food was varied and plentiful and most importantly really really tasty .. we had a few vegetarians and they loved there selection also Well done to manager and venue as they nailed it .. if I was being very very picky they only thing that could have made it a 10.5/10 wad a visit from Santa 🎅 Well be back for Xmas dinner next year and many many lunches throughout year on the back of this visit

Had the best bottomless brunch at the Village Belle on Saturday. The cocktail slushies were amazing. Everyone got to choose a meal - which was delicious and actually a good size (at other bottomless brunches you usually get a tiny portion). Really good value for money! The service was really quick and Milo was a great host. Really enjoyed our bottomless brunch and we will return to do it again! Plus, the singers were such a highlight!

Had a superb time at the decades bottomless brunch on Saturday. Two singers created a stellar atmosphere and truly wound back the clock with their old school hits. The staff’s attention to detail and commitment was impeccable - especially Milo who took great care of us throughout the afternoon. Will be returning.

Had a small Group midweek dinner and it was great! We often come here and there is always excellent service great atmosphere and food. I’m a vega and I would like to see a few more options especially in the pizzas to be able to take the cheese off!

Good vibe, great service and nice people. We reserved 3 tables for 20 people for dinner and got three tables far from each other which was a shame as it was a birthday. But otherwise great venue for a date or a quick drinks with friends

Had a cocktail event in the balcony bar for about 50 people with a cheese platter and pizzas to go around, we had the gorgeous Hassina and Jess helping out and they were perfect- highly recommend them both, and the venue. We were able to play our own tunes and have a boogie, it was great. Everything went perfectly!

We met up with friends at the Village Belle last night for dinner. Greeted by the lovely Ally who clearly had a great sense of humour and was very attentive the whole time we were seated. Tuesday is steak night , and the meals were tasty and great value. The other wait staff were always smiling and service was quick. The restaurant has a lovely modern vibe. We will be back for sure to try the pizza’s -they looked fab! Thanks Ally and the team for a great night! Cheers

I ordered the fish and chips this evening and it was awful. Shocked there was no salad with it and the batter was not nice - was really oily and ‘wet’. My friends ordered the parmas and they were pretty good but inconsistent with the amount of sauce on them. I let the staff know the meal was not pleasant and they were able to provide me with a green side salad and a refund which was appreciated.

Fun place with really good food. Great service. Only downside is, it was really loud. We had a hard time hearing each other. But well worth a visit!

We had a party of 10. The door was delicious and the service was very good. Attractive surroundings and for a large space it was nice and warm on a cool evening. Very enjoyable. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending.

Good vibes, friendly staff and locals. One side has ceiling to floor windows giving it a very modern and spacious feel while the other side has more a traditional pub vibe. The pizzas were good with generous amount of topping.

Bottomless brunch is epic! Such a great vibe, as always the interior is beautiful. The meal was a shared spread of cheese, dips breads deli meats ect. Cocktails were delicious, and super speedy service unlike some other venues when doing bottomless style sittings. Total 10/10. 100% go with your mates!

  • 2/5 Dźmitry K. 2 years ago on Google
The only good thing is the interior. However the rest of things like food quality and staff attentiveness is mediocre at best. Not the greatest value overall. Oh and no split bills. I kid you not, in this post-COVID world they still have no spit bills available. 🤦🏼

The Village Bell has the best of everything available when dining out in the Stkilda precinct. Cafe style outdoor dining area with a tranquil setting. Indoor dining and bar area is chic industrial relaxed setting (keeps the eyes busy if you love architecture) Sports Bar for a social drink and catch up with mates. Great menu and the food is awesome. Always tasty presentation is tops and good value. All the staff at the Bell are friendly and offer quality professional services.

Beautiful open air location which has been cleverly renovated. Ample parking around the hotel, with a properly separated dining space. The food was excellent, drinks a little pricey for the location however overall acceptable.

Came in to the Belle for the Decades brunch on a Saturday afternoon and had an awesome time. The huge range of tap beers, along with the seafood orecchiette was amazing value. Big thanks to Milo and the staff for their great service.
