Lovely ambience Friendly service So so taste for the food here. I literally won’t come again and won’t recommend for any friend to try even one time. so I can’t rate it more than 2 stars If u r here for tasty food, do not come, what u got is over priced. And nearly all the sides for every single fish r same. The whole eating experience was super boring. I know too many Indonesian restaurants r much more tasty than this place 120dollars for the food on these pics is super not valuable. I think all the 5 stars reviews came from people don’t care that much for the food itself but more into the vibe or whatever~

I never had a chance to dine-in with a-la-carte menu but the set menu and their takeaway boxes were excellent. There is so much food so do come with empty stomach, might as well fast for 12 hours before you come. The food was wholesome, nothing pretentious, just authentic and flavoursome. Great and fun service too.

Read about this place in The Age a few weeks ago and as we live in western Victoria, sent a text to my brother, who lives in north Melbourne, that we had to go next time we came to Melbourne. It certainly did not disappoint! My sister in law is gluten intolerant and the menu was perfect. I forgot to take any photos as the meals arrived. We had the corn fritters, eggplant with tofu, chicken thighs, pork with crackling and the fish in parcels. All were superb, which is almost an understatement. So so so tasty. We shared these between the 4 of us with boiled rice. Will definitely be back!

We tried the Ayam Betutu, Original Nasi Campur, Ubi Goreng, Gado Gado and of course, their signature dish Babi Guling. Amazing flavours, and cooked to perfection. The crispy crackling and tender meat of the Babi Guling makes it a definite must try. If you haven't tried Balinese food, then you must head here! Super friendly and down to earth service too so you'll definitely enjoy your experience here.

What a cosy wonderful places for the fancy dinner. Serving great Bali dishes and the set up were nice and heartwarming. The staff recommended some good food and the spiciness definitely were something different . Ribs were pretty flavourful, taste great. Chicken were alright, sauce can go with the rice just by itself. In the end the dessert took a so long to serve, maybe I ordered something they didn’t prepared so make sure you ask about the time for the dessert.

ORDERED: Warung Agus' mix set menu ($60.00pp) 🌽 Begedel: 4 pieces fried corn and mushroom fritters served with a tamarind, coconut sauce 🥑 Avocado in coconut: avocado with a mushroom and coconut cream sauce 🍚 Rice and yellow rice: cooked with tumeric, dash of coconut milk and garlic and onion 🍢 Sate Ayam (I think we had minced fish skewers that night though!) 🐔 Grilled chicken in lemongrass 🍆 Eggplant & Tofu 🐷 Babi Guling: Balinese roasted pork with crackling, served with a candlenut, lemongrass, chilli, ginger 🍝 Mie Goreng REVIEW Never have I ever had avocado with rice before. Having it sit in creamy light coconut milk made it one of the most interesting and refreshing dishes - which I imagine would be suitable for the humid Bali climate. The fish skewers were also fun to eat, with how minced it was but also quite delicious. Wish I had more than a stick!! Also big shout out to the roast pork that I wish I had more room in my stomach for. It was tender and fatty, with the crackling perfectly snapping in your mouth. Service is friendly and after this generous servicing, we were presented with MORE dishes. I could only wish to more of an introduction about the dishes just to gain a better appreciation of the food I was about to consume. Warung Agus only do walk in and set menus, and they're vegan friendly! They're able to customise the set menus as well so it's definitely worth sussing if you want to try something different.

Only offering 3 types of set menus at the moment but well worth the price! Restaurant is super flexible with dietary preference we ended up with a mixed set menu of pork, chicken and fish dishes. Too much food is an understatement we ended up boxing up enough leftover for another meal’s worth. The staff are super attentive and friendly, vibe is warm and welcome. Taste is not 100% Balinese like you get in Bali but has got the essential spices that made me go yup that’s Balinese. Definitely a good place to eat when you’re missing Bali!

It a lovely day to visit Warung Agus! That day the weather is rainy and I feel warm at Warung Agus. The ambiance is great with Balinese-style decoration. I ordered Babi Guling and it taste nice, especially with Kecap Manis (Sweet Soy Sauce). They are lovely and make my dinner experience feels wonderful! I definately will come back again really soon to eat more items at Warung Agus.

This place is amazing - great food, wonderful staff and an incredible atmosphere. We went with two vegans and an omni and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everyone felt well catered for and the vegan options are phenomenal. The sauces are unbelievably amazing. You can taste the love and dedication between the different levels of flavours. And the service was quick! We ordered two set / feed me menus and the food came so quick but tasted fresh and there was such generous portions! 10 out of 5 stars every time.

The best and most authentic Balinese food we ever had in Melbourne. Babi Guling and sate lilit are super delish. A bit pricey, but really worth it.

One of the first established restaurants on Victoria Street, a truly wonderful place. Amazing fresh cuisine, great atmosphere and fairly priced drinks. Added bonus on the street parklet being a super place to sit outside on a warm summer evening. Awesome experience!

Lovely staff and atmosphere. The Bali express takeaway options are great; fresh and flavourful. Even just passing the restaraunt is joyful, which sounds silly but it's true.

Amazing food. Devoured by kids and adults a like. We ate: - sticky pork ribs - sticky chicken - stir fry noodles - corn fritters. Mary and team delevired 60+ meals on three separate nights to feed kids and adults at a function. High praise from everyone who ate the food. Warung Agus team were professional and highly capable. Can't recommend enough. Thanks Warung Agus.

I thought the food was pretty good. The homemade sambal sauces were really nice. A small menu, so it's easy to make decisions. The casava crackers were probably my favorite.
