had the most amazing plate of food at citrus today. loved the devilled fish, the coconut sambal, and the pineapple chutney. the veg dishes were better than the meat dishes imo. the lamb and chicken was okay at best, but the other dishes did more than make up for it. will definitely be coming back regularly!

Great Sri Lankan food buffet provided. The favour is very good, but we can taste that it might slightly adjusted for the local. The basic traditional Sri Lankan favour was there, but we expected it more. The spices flavour should be slightly stronger and richer as we know about the cuisine. (My partner lived in Sri Lanka before) Over all its very good. Especially it's an all you can eat buffet, you hardly can find something similar in Melbourne. We love Sri Lankan food, we definitely recommend you need to give it a try. You will definitely like to go back again.

All you can eat plate for $25 and a slightly smaller single portion $20 plate. It's great value for what you can get. Chicken curry was slightly spicy. Eggplant curry and potatoes were delicious definitely must haves. Beef curry is a little too sweet in my opinion.

The $25 all you can eat is to die for, with vegan options galore. You’ll struggle to eat more than one large plate full if your eyes are as big as mine, but what you’re really paying for is the variety of foods rather than the amount anyway, in my opinion. Either way, it’s really great value. If you’re a big eater then there’s no way you’ll leave this place disappointed. Get some takeaway kottu roti for the day after while you’re here too. You’ll be glad you did.

We had an incredible experience at Citrus! The Sri Lankan food here is genuinely authentic—the buffet showcased a delightful array, from flavorful vegan dishes to a fantastic selection of rice varieties and lamb curry, chicken curry and devilled fish. The pickles were a personal favorite! If you enjoy spice, you're in for a treat; the dishes lean on the spicier side, which we loved. The only drawback was the absence of a sweet dish in the buffet section. Nevertheless, the overall culinary journey was exceptional, and we can't wait to return for more!

Visited Citrus with 5 others for their unlimited dinner buffet priced at $25. Absolutely loved the taste of the food! We had a great evening. However, I do feel for the given price point it’s worth a visit.

We love Citrus for a guaranteed delicious vegan meal. You can dine in buffet style $25 all you can eat, $20 for one plate, or Takeaway for $15.

Updated review: Been coming here for a few years now. The food is so good. Fresh and tasty. They have great take away and eat in options and it’s all reasonably priced. The place is clean and the staff are all really friendly. Also a great selection for vegetarians and vegans. Will be back here again!

Great buffet, 1 plate $20 or eat all you like $25. Large range of food to choose from. Great value, good food, nice people and surroundings

Divine. Such scrumptious Sri Lankan food. Help yourself from buffet $20/25 wow such value- vegan (try the cashew curry!) gluten free, rice, meat dishes (goat, beef, chicken) and condiments like pineapple chutney and spiced coconut. Have it with a watermelon juice or mango lassi. So great, highly recommended.

Delivers what it says. All you can eat Sri Lankan food at a reasonable price. The fish curry was the highlight for us. The Dahl was a beauty too. We found all dishes pretty food. The wines are seriously ordinary here though. But, the restaurant is much fun as a cheap and cheerful experience and the food fills you up at a very reasonable price.

A wonderful eatery for Sri Lankan/Indian cusine. Great value for money with their buffet options. They had a great selection of meat and vegetarian dishes along with other "rice pullers"

Food was nice but some dishes were too salty (especially the chickpeas and the kale). A few more green veg would have been nice as it was quite a yellow affair. Staff were super lovely! Atmosphere was nice and honey but there was sadly no music, so lacking slightly. Overall, great bang for your buck just pleeeease tone the salt down- it doesn't need it!

It's really delicious. We choose to eat buffet and its 25 AUD per person. Fish and pineapple were so delicious. It's worth the price for Sri Lankan food at Melbourne.

Soooooo good!! Amazing for vegetarians and meat eaters. At least 6 options each. Plus there’s an all you can eat option for $25! Will come back for sure ☺️

Amazing value with the all you can eat option for $25, but in saying that I only needed one plate full! They also offer a one plate option for $20 which I'll get next time as I was so full after sampling small serves of everything!! As it is a buffet, no wait time for food & we were in and out within one hour. Wine was expensive per bottle for what it was at $55 a bottle and we ordered 1 each as I only drink white and my partner only drinks red. Staff were friendly, good atmosphere and a busy little venue with lots of vegetarian options. Definitely will come back. Can't wait to have the coconut kale again😋

Absolutely gorgeous food and staff. Best vegan dishes! Only one negative thing to say and its not really negative but the music was too and not relaxing. Beautiful food and staff were all smiling and happy to answer questions and help. Can't wait to come back!!

Absolutely amazing restaurant with the kindest staff. This place goes above and beyond, the $25 all you can eat option is the most generous considering the variety and quality of food. Food was absolutely delicious, everything was fresh and the atmosphere in the restaurant was bubbly and inviting. Staff were the nicest people, always smiling and providing great service. Thank you for creating this awesome place 🙂⭐🙏❤️

This place offers $25 all you can eat or $20 single round of the buffet options. There are approx 15 different curries and mains to choose from and each were unique and very tasty. The food tasted fresh and

Came here for a casual lunch. It was $20 for one plate and $25 for a refillable plate, which was a bargain considering the selection! The lentil curry was the highlight, althought the devilled fish, chicken and lamb curry were also delicious. The biryani rice was perfect to go alongside everything as well!

Decent quality food (I think, without having ever tried Sri Lankan food before), friendly welcoming environment. Quite a cramped layout which makes it hard to get to the buffet food without getting stuck behind a table and crowd of other diners, so perhaps a renovation or move to a more suitable venue would be an idea.

Eat all you can from $25 buffet is really a good VFM. Any other drinks and out of menu things are charged. But the food was really good and heaps of option to choose from buffet. Everything kept well stocked and up to date.

Buffet is 25 AUD per head which includes only rice and curries (we had to ask for even refilling curries) where most of the other Sri Lankan restaurants’ buffets have hoppers, noodles, rotti, a variety of rice and curries, and few desserts to choice under similar price. Would not recommend to anyone. So disappointed!
