Nevedya is a stunning organic, plant-focused restaurant in Upwey. An incredibly sensory experience, Daniel and his wife Shakti have created a “laid back” spiritual vibe, complete with vibrant, rich interior detailing and a stunning lush outdoor garden oasis with chilled DJ beats on weekends. A great space to escape everyday life pressures and soak up the alternate vibe. We could have stayed for hours! Today we were treated to a mouthwateringly delicious Greek Curated Nevedya Experience. Daniel was super friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. It’s clear he is passionate about food, it’s spiritual benefits and the entire dining experience. Each dish was thoughtfully created and expertly executed using quality local and organic produce - the flavours were sensational and our dishes well presented. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending Nevedya! Well done to the whole team.

Amazing place and vibe. My partner found this place based on other reviews as we were passing through and the food was so delicious. The booth loungeout style seating was my favourite thing! Couldn't have been happier that he found this place.

Nevedya is a Cafe that serves Organic Vegetarian Food in The Hills and is well worth a visit. The options I found to be somewhat Mediterranean (Cretan) in style and ordering as ‘tapas’ is advised. The Spanakopita is a must! From quality food to exceptional service, you won’t regret visiting this one ⭐️

Eclectic & totally in character with location but food serve sizes are small & pricey. Service is slow for mains as well as a long wait for dessert! The surcharge whacked on is steep for Sunday lunch dine in - as such menu price list is misleading. You pay an additional $5 per person for alfresco dining at the back with the privilege of listening to piped in music spun by a silent "dj" at the rear entrance. While there are heaters - it still can be pretty cold though they do provide extra shawls & wraps. Place is packed - so book ahead. I liked the Mujadtra Greek rice - a small serve in a large bowl. Made the mistake of ordering Aztec chocolate - an acquired taste - bitterness lasted long after & made my tummy queasy! There's parking at the back & a rear entrance from car park.

Wow! Just wow! The food is so fresh and so delicious. Our favourite place! I love the dosa with curry, pickle and Dahl meal and hubby is a fan of the mushroom breakfast. You have to eat here! The atmosphere is always great, the outdoor garden is like a magical land. You will LOVE it! ❤️

What a great, great venue! Beautiful ambiance, very friendly, warm and attentive staff. Indoor seating and a great courtyard out back too. Amazing variety of earthy and healthy food just bursting with flavour. Healthy food with Asian and SriLankan twists. Beautiful drinks menu with healthy cold and warm options right through to amazing hot chocolates and beer and wine. Don't leave without trying the desserts too! Definitely visit!

Very thoughtfully curated space with great ambiance and atmosphere! Staff very friendly and helpful too. I can see there are a lot of south Indian/SriLankan inspirations on the menu, being from that background I felt it was a bit pricey for that kind of food, even though flavourful and all ( but staff and the atmosphere is what makes it worthwhile on those occasions and they have moved it up with other options too😊). Some of the brilliant things we had was the cheesecake ( a must try!). The breakfast dish with the mushroom ( European style) was excellent as well and great value, if one needs a full tummy. Overall a great experience and certainly recommend this place - every thing had great flavours!

Lush outdoor area perfect for a warm afternoon. Food was fresh and tasty overall but a little overpriced for what you get. For example 1 piece of the taco was $14. Service is ok. I'd give the vibe of the place a higher score than the quality of service and food. Overall, yes I'd go there again.

Dined here for the first time today, very impressed, beautiful decor, delicious food and coffee. Staff are friendly and attentive. Tried the Zen bowl with miso soup, highly recommend. Nice change to try their different vegetarian meals and herbal teas they offer on the specials menu.

Nice ambience, good and healthy food. The wait was almost an hour on the weekend. Expectations were set for 30 min. The dosa was really amazing.

Incredibly rare the find anything of this calibre. Not only is the food, drinks, location and vibe out of this world, but going here is an experience. Within the walls of this place, you’re going to meet someone, see something or learn something new. The staff who make it all happen are just amazing.

What an incredible place! My friend and I had such beautiful meals. I had a rose flavoured cacao that had such a rich rose taste to it and cacao made perfectly. And served with such precision and beauty. Also had the curry of the day which had about 5 different taste sensations on the plate served with a GF flat bread. The ambience is so warm and welcoming, we sat at the low tables with cushions and it was beautifully cosy.

This food is some of the best food I have ever had! I love that I have a local organic resturaunt near me. It's even better that it serves Ayurvedic food! So grateful for this gorgeous business and what they offer to customers. I absolutely love this place!!

My friend took me there for lunch. This is my first time going there. It was my son who discovered this gem tucked away in the Dandenong ranges. He was all praise for it but I had my doubts. However, I was blown away with the ambience, the food I had and of all the excellent service given. The only downside is it is open for brunch/lunch only from Thursday to Sunday with Friday serving dinner too.

Always amazing. This little vegetarian cafe always exceeds expectations of everyone we take there. The food is exceptional, the service is warm and friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing. I love the ethos of their slow food, local approach. Best place in the hills whether you are vegetarian, vegan or somebody who just enjoys great food with beautiful ingredients 😍

Best breakfast I’ve had in a long time, if ever. Cheese and mushroom omelette and rose cacao drink thing were both really well balanced and perfectly portioned - rarely will I eat a breakfast and slow down to enjoy the flavours and textures. Worth the price and trip out to Upwey.

This was our second visit and this time we bought guests with us. We all enjoyed the ambiance and the food. The staff, once again, were the best..We will return with the greyhounds one day soon 😁 Returned a year later ..plus a few visits in between, for our first evening meal here. Wonderful experience and beautiful food.

Love eating here, the back courtyard is a hidden treasure, a thing of beauty. The food is glorious, they are extremely ethical and the walls are covered in stunning artwork. It's also lovely and warm out the back near the heaters, making every space cosy in these cold times. ❤

Hands down the best Thali I've had, delicious food and awesome atmosphere.

Pleasant and relaxed 'alternative' atmosphere with some unusual furniture (I believe made by the owner's dad). Wholesome and tasty vegetarian meals and delicious hot drinks with some very special hot chocolate and coffee blends. Prices above average, but the ingredients are of high quality so 'you get what you pay for'. (However, a community meal is offered weekly for those who fiscally challenged).
