👍👍 It's not uncommon for my wife and I to drive down to Springvale for a regular pho fix.. I tell you.. eating pho at Good days by far exceeded our exceptions. While being a different experience and slightly pricier.. you pay for what you get. Good quality meat, the beef soup had rich umami flavours..... People often mention beef, delicious, chicken, menu, service, small, rolls, friendly, good, amazing,

Really enjoyed sitting up at the bar and watching all the kitchen going on's. :) Next time I am keen to try the broken rice chicken.. And yes, the chilli decent hot:)

Good Days in Brunswick is popular with the local hipsters. Not being a local or a hipster, I walked in with some apprehension. ☀️The sunny bits: The decor and atmosphere was surprisingly impressive. The friendly service and simple menu made the initial process a breeze to navigate. The beef pho was delicious and the quality of the beef was up there. The noodle salad was beautiful to look at. The freshness of the ingredients together with the sauce made me very happy. ☁️The cloudy bits: Prices were definitely on the steeper side but you do get what you pay for. ⭐️The forecast: Sunnydays at Good Days equals happy days!

Amazing food; lovely small restaurant with a cozy, very Melbourne atmosphere. Not a place to linger at for hours - quick service from a limited menu. No reservations, so there could be a short wait.

Definitely try the beef pho, its done so well and the soup is just outstanding. The lemongrass chicken with vermicelli is also a great option if you want something fresh! Overall, a solid meal with great service and atmosphere. I hope to be back soon :)

Lovely food. Had the lemongrass chicken noodle salad and my friend had the beef pho. Both were sensational. Would definitely recommend.

The best pho in Melbourne hands down, delicious and rich broth with high quality beef. Been there once and hooked for life, well done for a great experience guys!!

Tasty Vietnamese soups and rice dishes. Friendly service and vibrant atmosphere. A little pricier than other less fancy Vietnamese restaurants like in Footscray or Richmond. The place is smallish and can be squashy when it's busy. Be prepared to wait to get a seat inside or outdoor seating but it's worth it.

Environment is good for either private dining or a small sized party. Authentic Vietnamese food, very very delicious! Try out the beef pho or chicken rice, never goes wrong 😜

Fantastic pho. Rich authentic broth. Clean but flavorful taste. Quality beef pho and sides worth ordering are spring rolls and hand rolled RPR. For craft beer lovers, quirky lemongrass ale is worth a try too! Great local spot. Service was reasonable despite it being a busy Sunday evening.

I have been to good days twice now, I feel like this is a restaurant that likes to the add their own touch to the traditional Vietnamese food. The beef pho is by far the most satisfying one. The presentation is stunning. Unlike the traditional one, the beef taste more like roast beef and it comes with two dipping sauces. The broth tastes amazing and flavourful. I actually drank the whole bowl and wasn't thirsty after that (other places either too oily or put lots of msg in it and makes me thirsty afterward). For the chicken rice, the chicken tastes good with the green sauce but the portion is bit small for me. Will come back for other food. 30/06/2022 edit: the fried chicken wings are amazing.

Really tasty noodles! Friendly service, can't book tables but there's a fair amount of in & outdoor seating in this small venue. Food is so tasty & the place smelt amazing. Generous portions. Small food menu + small drinks selection. I ate in but take away is available. Limited vegan/veggie options but options available were delicious. Friendly staff.

100% wow factor. Mid week lunch, the place is packed which was first indicator something good was coming. Chicken and rice, one of the freshest and tastiest chicken dishes I've had. Excellent and friendly service.

This place is a local favourite, always busy with people waiting to get in. I tried the chicken Pho and coconut juice, both were delicious. The staff were great too.

We sat at the counter to watch the kitchen theatrics. It's symphonic and a joy to watch. Felt like being at a ramen joint. The beef pho broth is rich, and you can tailor it to your taste with the accompaniments. The veg and herb condiments are very fresh, like they've been plucked out of the kitchen garden. The noodle salad is great for a summer arvo.

What a brilliant spot this is! Such a cool place. Fab food and friendly staff. Good prices. Just all around amazing. We got the vegan special and it was one of the tastiest dishes I’ve had in awhile!

Great little eatery with Vietnamese cuisine. The spring rolls and fried chicken we're amazing. Definitely pricey with a $22 pho but you pay for the cool vibes and relaxed setting. Great menu for a light dinner with drinks. There's space to sit at the bar and watch the chef do his magic and also some outdoor seating out front which is shaded in the afternoon/evening. Will come back!

Didn’t know the a broth could be MEMORABLE! So delicious nourishing and fresh. Plenty of options that a vegetarian/vegan and gluten free. But also delicious prawn/meat options. I had. Mushroom Pho and it was absolutely to die for! Orange wine is also very nice 😊 Ps: I know most of my reviews in Melbourne are 5 ⭐️ but either I am lucky or restaurants here are just amazing!

Best vegan pho I've ever had, I was seriously so impressed. The flavour was so rich and the variety of mushrooms was awesome. Sooo good and hearty. The service was super warm and friendly. It was pretty busy when we went but the staff member who seated and served us still engaged with us genuinely and was very attentive :) The lighting, interior design etc was all cool. It's a small space but they make good use of it. Very cool place and I will definitely go back next time I'm in Melbourne!!

This place is just the hidden gem in Brunswick. Friendly staff , Chef in the opened kitchen also super friendly and knowledgeable to recommend you thier popular items on the menu. Pho is just exceptional plus thier finger foods also are outstanding. Will come again definitely.

The atmosphere was the only notable comment Band has to learn to grow up and as the play only 2 hrs start late long break and the guy try’s to tag on the service girls which is most unprofessional the female vocalists lacks a smile and to engage with the clients ( better play recorded music) Food Think again change menu change chef and think common sense and value for money Service they seems like these young untrained kids were doing me a favour Price was crazy ! No fruit drinks or smoothies in the evening?fish and chips No lemon ? Satay no sauce chips no salt Caesar salad dry no dressing chef and manger wake up !!!!! We’re you’ll ever trained a waste of money and time !!!

The beef pho (black Angus brisket & topside, marrow and bone broth noodle soup) was delicious and paired really well with the sauce and pickled onion on the side. Would've been even better if they had more selections on the menu and did something more to their phos so I didn't feel quite so much like I was eating a bowl of overpriced pho. This is a small place - perfect for couple or singles to have quick lunch.

Nothing to fault!! 10/10! Service was prompt and attentive, and happy to accomodate any minor alterations to the menu. The beef pho was seriously bursting with flavour and extremely generous with the serving of meat. Perfect to go as a solo diner, or a group of friends.

Simply delicious. I enjoyed the beef pho which was very rich. Quite a small tight space so might be a bit tricky for larger groups but I enjoyed sitting at the bar and watching the chefs cook. Only had to wait 5 minutes for a table around 12.30 on a Sunday. Staff were super friendly.

Very nice, flavoursome Pho. It has very fresh, simple flavour with beautifully cooked noodles. Condiments of chilli and hoi sin meant you could alter the flavour as much as you wanted. I do feel the portions for the price per bowl could certainly be larger. Vietnamese iced coffee was delicious!

If someone orders noodle ,I wish packing separate for takeaway. Soup is all gone so very bad.

Had lunch on a Thursday and the place is really chill and easy. I ordered the noodle salad with spring rolls which was so tasty and had a good balance of flavours and textures.

  • 5/5 Jana L. 1 year ago on Google
Yep. This is it! What a Phở! 🍜 Nice fresh innovative take on the old faithful. The silkiest noodles you will ever have, the most tender brisket, and richest broth. Such an awesome feed, was a great portion, with a side of spring rolls and a celebratory beer 🍻 nice. PS - get the chicken wings, you won't regret it! Edit - chicken rice and noodle salad are divine. Have been back >5x. Local favourite ✅ Edit edit - specials menu available with different dishes available for every day of the week which is a nice touch.

Adding potato crisps to com tam is the most Brunswick thing ever. Secured the 5 stars mainly for the high quality ingredients and being a little quirky like dat.

Service was really fast and quick and really friendly. My vegan mushroom pho was delicious and would recommend, the beef pho was nice but lacked the depth of flavour you usually get from making the stock with the beef the night before. Rice paper rolls were really nice and my friends raved about the pork spring rolls.

Cute little place in Brunswick. Food: we basically ordered the whole menu (not that it’s big) - and everything we got was pretty amazing. So much flavour and taste. The pho in particular was a total winner, with an awesome broth. The noodle salad was a total winner, but def not a main meal - more of a share meal. The spring rolls and Rice paper rolls were pretty amazing also - lots of flavour and very fresh. Service: impeccable. The lady we who was serving us was attentive, lovely and very accomodating. The food was also served in a timely manner Only downfall is, the menu is so small! Also, no regular drinks (soft drinks/juices). Was a good experience overall

I don't normally eat pho at a place that doesn't have the word 'pho' in the restaurant's name, so I was pleasantly surprised that this pho was good. The noodles were fresh and so soft, but still held their shape.

The food at the small restaurant is delicious, just wish the portion size was a bit bigger.
