I recently tried the food again at two fat Indians. It use to be such a great standard. I called up to basically ask if they could make it amazing to one of the managers as it was for a occasion and this use to be our favourite place. All I got back was maybe just go somewhere else which I then replied can it not just be made to the standard it use to be at instead of turning me away as a customer. I then did order which I regret. The beef vinderloo only had jelly fatty bits and was just salty salty salty. The chicken tikka masala was so bland and chicken was so awfully dry. I then went to eat the tandoori starter which then to find a hair in it! It was such a horrible disappointment. I can’t even get a response through email or what’s app. I would love if someone would respond to me but they clearly don’t value customers.

Ordered Paneer Tikka masala. Was delivered Chicken Tikka masala that too watery under cooked gravy . Chicken want even Tikka .. As it was a takeawa, It wasn't even refunded when informed them .. Rotis were also under cooked. Overall a bad experience . And let's not forget the menu isn't cheap ...

Had a wonderful meal at the Two Fat Indians. My party of 7 had the set menu with the desert. Service was fast and friendly. The food quality was superb. The restaurant was clean and felt very comfortable. The place got really busy and had a wonderful vibe. Highly recommended. Will be returning.

We had heard about this place and thought of giving it a shot. The ambiance is okay, not a deal breaker. We ordered saffron rice - which was frozen taken out of freezer and heated, it didn’t have a pleasant smell. We ordered chicken curry and prawn curry, they were okay but nothing special. We felt for the quantity, taste and ambiance 27$ for a smaller size chicken curry was way too much. Nothing here tasted good for us to bring us back there.

Came for dinner with my partner and loved it. The wine selection was great (and very well priced) and the food was to die for. We got a selections of entrees (tandoori mushroom pictured) that were amazing! Will be back!

The photo says everything 😂😅 the food was amazing especially Butter chicken also the dessert is out of this world and the people are very kind the the owner who cooked the butter chicken is extremely talented the lady is always smiling and the the owner is extremely welcoming absolutely recommend it. Here is an update we went again everything was bad the portions are very small almost samples and the prices are very high for such little food and poor quality as well as poor service

Yummy meal and lovely people, had the dinner for two takeaway, medium butter chicken, mild Rogan josh, both great flavours and heat, garlic naan great size fresh and hot, rice was well cooked, tasty Pakoras and sweet full of flavour dessert, even some leftovers for lunch the next day, not expensive for what you get , we will be back for sure

My dad went to order fish and chips from a shop nearby and ended up bringing this home instead and it was absolutely delicious. It was probably the best butter chicken i’ve ever had and the naan was so buttery and amazing. My Dad also said the lady serving was lovely and she threw in some extras for us too!

What can I say!This cozy restaurant has left the best impression! Hospitable host, delicious dishes and beautiful presentation! The food is absolutely amazing, everything we tasted melted in our mouth.We we’re very impressed with the food especially the curries.Highly recommend

We have ordered from this restaurant many times, we always go for the dinner for two combo. This is the best Indian restaurant by far on the south east of Melbourne, the food is consistent, delicious and affordable. We’ve never had a bad meal, and we always highly recommend to friends and family.

Have ordered take out a number of times now, never disappointed, fantastic Indian food.

They said 15 to 20 mins for takeway delivery service !! But when attempted for three times also taking more than 35 minutes still they keep on saying 15-20 mins. What a shame? If no time why to gather the order like the heap of stack.😥

Best Butter Chicken & Garlic Naan I’ve ever eaten. Tastes fresh and clean, doesn’t leave an oily after taste. It’s lighter than any others I’ve eaten. Highly recommend!!!

Wow tried this Two Fat Indians for the first time last night at the game. I ordered the boneless chicken curry for $18. I went back to my seat and everyone around me wanted to know where I bought it from due to the nice aroma. It was filling and full of flavour and it was mild and not too spicy. I only wish there was more food on offer like this at the 'G. The customer service was fast and efficient and I was able to order at half time and get back to my seat in time to continue watching the game.

Poor food quality we all got sick Service is terrible did not feel welcome at all. Our biggest concern We seen a rat run across the floor I'd be having the food inspector visit this place .

Amazing food and wonderful service. Small restaurant which caters mainly for take away. I would recommend this restaurant to all my friends.

Nice service and atmosphere but the food quality is poor. For the price you pay the quality give is ok but the flavours of different food items are very bad. I tried many vegetarian items with family and had to walk out hungry because we just didn't like any food.

Solid Indian! and their food held up even when delivered. The samosas were the best I'd eaten. Chicken tikka thighs were bomb also.

One of the best indian places I've ever been to!! Best vegan curries! They were so lovely and accommodating to my vegan dietary requirements. As we were going to the AFL game, they had a buffet dinner on and only had 1 vegan curry option as part of the buffet (you couldn't order off the normal menu, because of the semi-final night). I didn't even ask or suggest that there was little options (honestly I didn't even think of it, just happy to have 1 vegan option), but the lovely lady serving us (when I asked if the vegan option was labelled at the buffet bar) immediately offered a second vegan curry so that I could have another curry option and gave me some vegan roti all no extra charge. Honestly, I've never been to a place (that isn't vegan) that was this accommodating!! I really appreciated it and highly recommend supporting this business.

Thought we'd try this place tonight. Seemed decent, vegan options. A little shocked to how watery the dishes were, I got the vindaloo and my partner got the chickpea curry. After the food had cooled down after about 5-7 minutes it had no flavour like the curry had been strained with water or something. I thought about it, unless you're cooking 3 different vindaloos, how can you offer 3 different spice levels? Makes sense now.. The cheese naan wasn't bad. The curry has a long way to go to be worth $25 each. Sorry guys.

Went for dinner with my family of 8. The venue is small and unassuming, but the food and service was out of this world. The staff went above and beyond for us, including bringing us some special dishes to try and some dessert for the the kids. Definitely would recommend!

Delicious! Thank you! I have not had a delicious Indian meal in a very long time. The best butter chicken curry and garlic naan bread to date. I don't write reviews so this is saying something haha.
