Don't order the pork ribs. As one of the most expensive items on the menu, I was completely disappointed. They were the thinnest ribs I've ever had and I got the full rack hoping for a good meal but it felt like a starter meal. After I finished I was still hungry. I would have been better off with chicken wings. Along with that, I ordered one drink that took almost 30min, it arrived well after my meal. They said they were busy but the restaurant was about 1/3 full at the time.

Friday the 13. Where else to go for lunch. Sat on the balcony and enjoyed the fresh air and the view over Swanston Street. Chicken burger and thin fries. Excellent service and atmosphere.

One of those go to places that is consistent with what to expect. Glad they have toned down the background music more pleasant now. Clean with attentive friendly staff. Noticed a trend where meal sizes are slowly being reduced everywhere however portion sizes are still acceptable while maintaining the price structure.

Okay so me and my gf ordered: 6 wings (Nashville hot) Bbq rib rack (comes with chips and slaw). Okay so the wing sauce was more like Nashville mild. Although the sauce does taste nice. They also serve it with 2 large strips of celery. Felt like eating a wild plant. Perhaps swap it with strips of cucumber that would be much better. Okay ribs, don’t go ordering this and expecting a mouth watering fall off the bone type thing. here’s my thoughts: - silver skin left on making it really hard to eat and cut. - meat was dry and alittle tough. - bbq sauce on it was good. They also include additional sauce for dipping that’s good. - chips 10/10. - slaw 10/10. Okay service, now this isn’t got anything to do with the staff, they were lovely. My issue is why the heck would you charge extra for customers to order online for themselves?? Literally it saves your staff from having to take orders and it requires your customers to do “work” to order the food. Also was forced to give my number and email not good. Stupid system, so I just deleted the order and went up the bar to order. Save your money peeps. Owner and staff didn’t ask for my feedback when about to leave. -reviewspa

The ribs are awesome! Though a little costly but we totally enjoyed the ribs!! Nice bar pub kind of atmosphere. Would have been even better if there were a live band performing. Especially since it was a Friday we went. Staff were very nice and helpful as I navigated the order online. The food are awesome other than the fries (I personally dislike fries so it’s no fault of theirs). Would definitely visit TGI Fridays again if I have the chance.

My family always come here to celebrate special occasions because it's just so nice this restaurant. The food is delicious and I recommend their salmon with chips and salad. Their customer service is excellent, very warming and inviting as we are greeted at the entry. Lovely view of Swanton Street and state library. Outdoor eating area is a huge hit especially there's a smoking area for those who do but I don't recommend you smoke not good for you!! Anyway the toilets is always clean. I've worked in hospitality in big name establishments and as a former supervisor at the Mercedes stand in the grand prix Melbourne this TGI FRIDAYS restaurant has one of the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE to my standard and the food is devine. The signature ribs platter is excellent value to sample different items on the menu. Can't go wrong with the famous Jack Daniels sauce! Customer service was slow but friendly and helpful, even though it was a busy Saturday night. Only negative is the alcoholic drinks are not very good either too much ice or too watered down and the bathrooms could be better maintained for tidyness.

TGI Fridays served crowd-pleasing American meals; from burgers and chicken wings to salad and Mexican. I’ve been here a few times, and while I found none of the dishes actually stood out (they could be pretty pricey also), it was a great spot for group dinners and informal gatherings. The venue itself was spacious, the ambiance was quite cosy and energetic, and the staff were pretty friendly.

Took to long to be seated, they could have had multiple staff seating ppl instead of just one with others not doing much. Once in they did bring kids activities out which was good but they forgot something for them to draw with. When it was time to place order, to do it via QR code wanted a lot of personal information I didn't think was required, so I ordered at bar and the lady had no idea what she was doing, didn't even know they has some things on the menu. I then paid with cash and she didn't know how to open the till to give me change. Food came out quickly, chicken was good but the rest was pretty bland. Drinks took way to long to come out, I had to go ask for them. (Milk shake for kids, beer for the wife and myself) Finally got my change just before we were wanting to leave. Over all, it felt like most of the staff were new and didn't really know what they were doing. Food wasn't great and was over priced for what u got. Don't think ill be back and wouldn't be recommending it to ppl.

Mostly just overpriced. The location was lovely. Ordered via QR on table. Food was a bit bland and didn't do anything special, really. The signature chicken in sauce was decent but not amazing.

You have to order and pay via your phone, which takes a long time. You have to order drinks separately. Some of our food came out with the wrong items ordered on the plate. They did remake the order. Our drinks did not make it to the table until after we ate. I had to go to the bar and ask for glasses and water while we waited for our main drinks. The food we got was good but overall the dining experience was average.

Got the Ribs Tuesday half rack pork ribs Fridays TO GO takeaway special. Ordered the Signature Glaze and Spicy Buffalo. Decent size serve with chips and slaw. The ribs were delicious and perfectly cooked. Good deal with the half price special. 20 minutes from online order to collection.

Extremely happy to update my review to 5/5! TGIF definitely redeemed themselves. The staff were friendly and active, the food was fast, fresh AND delicious, everyone was extremely happy with their service - Eric especially was fantastic! So glad I got the real TGIF experience, will be back! 👍

I received an online offer of 50% off from a mobile application. So, I tried their burger and New York steak. The burger was the real deal and American perfect in every sense. The New York striploin steak was also a success; fresh meat, nice and juicy, cooked to the perfection. I personally didn’t like the sweet sauce, which is a matter of personal taste and doesn’t detract from the steak’s values. The staff was also very nice and on my wait for the takeaway order, brought me a glass of water on ice. Perhaps the offer could have been a lot improved if it allowed for dining in the restaurant. Plastic cutlery with the takeaway was not available which is understandable. Overall the management is doing a great job and deserves at least 4 stars.

Really great food and vibe in the whole restaurant. The staff were so lovely and attentive. Definitely also recommend signing up to be a member on the app as they always have discounts and freebies (we got a free brownie). The only issue I had was the pasta we ordered was kinda bland which is weird because I’ve ordered this same pasta from other branches and it’s been amazing. Overall, I had a great time and would recommend checking them out.

Went with my wife for a special med afternoon meal with dessert. Especially the dessert was made fresh and a good taste. The staff was also professional with the service.

Their cocktails during happy hour are great. Can't go wrong with $10 a cocktail. They taste divine, too. The food isn't my vibe, but their salmon dish is to die for.

The food was amazing. The staff helped when we couldn't get the promo code to work and still applied the free onion rings. The onion rings were crunchy to the last one. The burgers were fresh and huge. The drinks were delicious. Try the original lemonade. We thought the crushed ice was better in the drinks than cubes.

The service was good, you don't need to wait around for the staff and order by the QR code. The food came out in an quick and efficient manner. We were too hungry to take pictures of our food.

Came to have the superbowl vip package. Food was great and despite the initial issues with some staff not being aware of how the package was delivered it was a fun delicious way to spend the day. Daryl (staff member) was just the best and the management team were great. Great atmosphere and so much fun with ever flowing drinks and food. Eric and his team always provide an excellent customer service. From a moment you arrive you feel welcome and Eric is excellent hospitality person at the front door looking presentable, clean, well spoken and with a smile on his face. We were here on Sunday mother's day. The place is clean, very convenient in the cbd, professional staff, yummy food. We tried to sit outside but it was full with the only table available under the sun so we decided to have lunch inside. We ordered 2 ceaser salad with grilled chicken and some kid's chicken stuff (they loved it). Additionally we ordered the popular potato wedges. The amount was enough and we liked the meals

$32- chips(main) and pork rib half rack as a SIDE! So disappointed the size of pork rib half rack. It even has not much meat on the ribs. $26- cream pasta. Wasnt able to see any cream sauce on the plate/pasta. It lookand taste like they just warm up the frozen pasta then, serve to the table. Tasteless pasta.

Staffs are very friendly and food is nice as usual.

I am the Fridays’s restaurant Ardent meat lover, Their steak always been cooked perfectly, from medium or to well-done, can’t fault their cooking skillset, glazed chicken wings are the must thing to try in TGI; signage platter worths it value, the potion are quite filling, always nice to have but everything in one plate.

Had a wonderful time here with friends. Amazing happy hour deals and excellent service. Our food and drinks arrived quick and staff were friendly especially the manager Eric. He was very attentive and professional, ensuring we had the best time! will definitely come back.

Judge for yourself, how can be give a kid super tiny snack size macaroni for dinner? I rather buy a pack of EasyMac and cook it at home. Ridiculous! You don’t cut the size of food for kids. We went to Chadstone for the same thing it was proper size. The size here was 3 tablespoons of macaroni and it isn’t enough for a toddler, let alone for 4 years old. That’s $8.9. We never seen this in Sydney.

First time having TGIF and was so amazed at how tasty the food was! I would highly recommend getting the pork belly nachos to start with it was absolutely amazing. Ambiance was really nice as well and they do have happy hour from 4 to 6 if you are after cheap drinks. We got the calamari, caesar salad and veg burrito bowl and everything was great. Would definitely come back again

Came in for a little team dinner, the setting outside is very nice with a pretty view especially in the evening. They have a small happy hour drinks list with margaritas and long islands also about 3 happy hour snack options. Off the regular menu we had the dumplings, Mac n cheese bites, chicken strips, calamari and chips to share, everything was tasty and they had nice dipping sauces. This isn’t table service like the TGIs near me, order through QR code or at the bar

Service was good to start with until our food came out. The chef's had a mix up between our chips as between 4 of us we ordered different types (original chips, fries, sweet potatoes) which some of were cold. Once the issue was resolved by the manager Eric himself he offered us a free round of beverages for the inconvenience. Apart from this little issue the food and the atmosphere was great.

I had a good experience here. The staff are friendly, especially the manager, and the atmosphere is very comfortable. Food was served pretty quickly. Got the signature whiskey glazed chicken burger and it was delicious. Crispy chicken, fresh vegetables, great sauce and fluffy bread. The chips on the side were also really crispy and came with their yummy whiskey sauce for dipping. Came here with a birthday coupon and the staff were really helpful on how to redeem it. You have to order at the counter to use it (cant use the QR code at the table to order)

The food was average here. They relied a lot on the glaze when it came to the ribs, didn’t use any other rub or seasoning while cooking. Burrito bowl was ok💥💥💥 chicken was juicy but they could improve their guac and seasonings. Ribs 💥💥wasn’t too impressed. Best things were the wings and onions rings💥💥💥💥 Service was ok, friendly but not really attentive. The manager was really helpful and saw when something was needed.

Lovely food and atmosphere. Staff were really nice and accommodating of allergies, had no issues at all. Food was delivered quickly as well, so much faster than expected. Our server Gelo was extremely nice, so lovely and checked on us throughout our meal. Will definitely go here again! :)
