We
had
Set
3
on
a
Friday
The
good:
-
A5
Hida
was
exceptional
-
The
staff
were
polite
and
friendly
-
5
stars
-
Tuna
sashimi
was
fresh
and
cut
perfectly,
while
being
presented
in
an
amazing
fashion.
-
The
Choya
Gold
Umeshu
and
honey
beer
were
fantastic
The
not
so
good:
-
Most
of
the
meat
was
just
okay.
It
didn't
melt
in
the
mouth
and
was
often
chewy
even
when
cut
against
the
grain
-
Stone
grill
was
more
of
a
novelty
that
went
cold
and
wasn't
changed
over
until
the
11th
hour
-
Our
entre
was
rushed
out
of
the
way
while
we
were
half
way
through
and
hidden
under
the
meat
table
-
The
dessert,
while
it
was
presented
very
well,
wasn't
to
my
pallet
-
matcha.
Macarons
were
chewy.
-
Barely
any
room
on
the
small,
cheap,
worn
melamine
table
-
Tables
were
close
enough
together
that
if
you
got
up,
a
skinny
person
may
easily
knock
the
adjacent
table
or
put
your
privates
in
the
face
of
other
diners
-
Atmosphere
was
quite
loud,
not
the
fine
dining
experience
we
were
hoping
for
-
Seemed
inauthentic.
This
restaurant
seemed
more
culturally
Chinese,
than
Japanese.
Overall,
the
experience
wasn't
what
we
expected
but
maybe
those
expectations
were
too
high,
when
compared
with
other
top
quality
Japanese
restaurants
in
Melbourne.
Not
recommend
if
you
value
your
money.
