We waited over thirty minutes for our meal and the place wasn't even busy. When it came it was overcooked fish. However the salad and veggies were good and the coffee was great. I'll get a sandwich next time as they look delicious and, surely, won't take long to toast!!

Would give more stars if tables were cleared after patrons have left instead of staff standing around chatting and laughing!! Looks very unappealing.

Service fairly quick and food is very good

I was on the prowl for some eggs on toast, and almost walked right past this place since the sign on the front didn't have it as an option, but I ducked inside and was happy to find it on the full menu. I ordered a no thrills breakfast of scrambled eggs on toast with bacon and received just that in short time. The food was good, the atmosphere was relaxing in the early morning and the service was lovely. I would gladly grab breakfast here again.

This is a spacious Café with good meals and coffee near the Melbourne CBD and Flagstaff subway station - A relaxing environment for a quite coffee and or breakfeast.

New management didn't change much half of the advertising in the resturant still refers to Kaefei -- Food and prices are still poor quality only thing that is better is that staff are much nicer.

Great food and fantastic service

Poor customer service. Was served salad with mouldy, faded and slimy leaves. Complained and told them to take it back to which NO apology or replacement was offered and sat there to watch them picking through what they were dishing to customers still, pulling out the bad bits... Unimpressed!

PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE...If I could give it a negative score, I would in a heartbeat. I ordered "fish and chips" which I then waited 35 minutes to receive, with no apologies, updates or any friendly service at all from the staff. The venue itself is quite spacious with plenty of seating however only 3 tables were filled, with 5 customers total. 35 minutes for a dish that should take maximum 15 minutes is completely ridiculous. When I then went to finally eat, the "fish" was so dry it was almost powdery and had what appeared to be a patch of month-old mould across one end. The "chips" were equally dry, and had NO seasoning at all. I ate 4 chips and decided it wasn't worth my time, money, or sanity to stay. Honestly disgusted at the quality of food and of the service.

Take these five star reviews - so called positive experiences with a grain of salt - this place is REPULSIVE. I ordered scrambled eggs on toast, commonly known for its simplicity, you would assume this meal would take 10-15 minutes to make especially considering the lack of customers. It took 35 minutes. The staff were unapologetic for the slow service, and kinda rude. My meal was poor. The eggs were raw and definitely not scrambled. DO NOT COME HERE.

Waited half an hour in an almost completely empty restaurant. Receiving undercooked eggs which were not scrambled, fish that looked like it was sat on a drying rack for three weeks (and tasted like it) overcooked chicken burger and old, under seasoned fries. Terrible. Okay
