Lovely place, however, I’ve been yelled at twice by two different staff members for the silliest things. Once for dancing near a table and one of the bar tenders yelled at me for ordering a drink that had liquor they ran out of. There’s an old guy that told my friend off for being “disrespectful” for sitting close to a lamp??? So confused honestly I’ve never felt so unwelcome in a bar. Mind you we have tried to be respectful as it’s quite a busy place.

Love finding melbournes hidden bars. This one is cozy with comfort irregular seating which i love, nice personnal areas for a drink talk with friends. Intresting wall gallery going on, a bit cheeky😜 This one is a must to stop by

While I'm sure this place goes hard on Friday and Saturday nights, I was very happy to chill here over a late afternoon beer (or three) with the lovely staff and enamoured regulars. Atmosphere is comfy, music is tasteful, drinks are ample, and the people are nice - sign me up!

Great bar for a pre-theatre drink or after-theatre get-to-gether, right in the middle of Chinatown with restaurants everywhere. Opens late. Stylishly decorated with some nice pieces of art on the walls around the bar (for sale as well). Tends to attract all ages especially 30+ crowd...lots of 80's, 90's music played. Has a good vibe!

On our way to another place we heard some great classics coming out from FAD... we came in for 1... we never made it to the other bar! Great dancing session, great vibe, well priced drinks, great art on the walls. Ticks all the boxes

I'd give 10 stars if I could. This place is amazing! The music, the people, the vibe! You guys are the best! I freaking loved it last night and now this is my new favourite place in Melbourne! If you like Disco music or anything from the 80s you should totally go! Ask for Orí and tell them I sent you!

Absolutely wonderful venue. Tunes are always absolute bangers, and the drinks are generous and tasty. Couldn’t think of a better place to start, finish, or enjoy a whole evening. Thank you to the absolutely lovely bar staff especially for always being so accommodating! Clean bathrooms too!

Absolutely loved this bar. Great decor, great ambience, excellent staff and very cosy and comfy seating. The dance floor opened at night which was great fun. The dance music could be better - maybe a DJ even otherwise a great place to have a drink and dance.

Wish I found this bar years ago when I first moved to Victoria. I stumbled across it online as I was going to a restaurant within the same location. The customer service and atmosphere was so friendly and funky, with a diverse range of friendly people and ages. Really cool to have art work displayed by local artists to purchase and the vintage seating was so comfy. Cocktails were small, but strong.

Mate got glass in his drink and cut his mouth. The staff know about this. They gave him a band aid to put in his mouth- wow; so fantastic

Went in for a drink and ended up staying for the night! Staff were so lovely, shout out to ?Omi on the music deck. They played some great music! Definitely recommend going here for a boogie and a drink 😊🥳

Genuinely one of the best places I've ever been to in Melbourne. Music is always fabulous, everyone starts dancing at 10pm, and the Fad team treat everyone like family. I can't even count how many times I've recommended Fad to friends, colleagues, strangers on the street - get there ASAP, you won't regret it.

Fad Gallery is one of my favourite hang out spots in the CBD. Such a homey place! The team is fantastic and always do their best to take care of everyone. Great music and great drinks as well! Definitely would recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It has been a difficult 2 years for all of us and I understand that everyone is struggling through this lockdown. Thank you to FAD for still remaining to be there for the community with all the fabulous music and drinks that keeps us all sane! Fabulous people, fantastic music and not to mention the people who are keeping it alive namely; Johnny and Ori, the kindest and the most genuine people on earth!!!

Awesome little bar, great decor and atmosphere. Drinks were well priced. Manager seemed a bit rude though - took chairs off people if they tried to move them to sit with their friends, and kept a reserved table of 4 to himself even when people were looking for somewhere to sit.

We had the most amazing night, thank you! While visiting from WA I was so surprised to find such a lovely bar. Staff were friendly, recognised my sister on sight, atmosphere was fantastic! And the music was perfect. It was so awesome to find a proper pub that plays real old school music. Thanks again!!

Located in the heart of Chinatown, no trip to Melbourne is complete without visiting Fad Gallery at least once...though normally we go a lot more. The Owner, staff and regulars make this place a friendly and stress free place to hang out. Music is brilliant and decor is second to none.

I had my birthday party at Fad Gallery last weekend and all of my friends liked the bar! Fad gallery always has the good music playlist that everyone can enjoy, a great picture/drawing collection and the best Amaretto Sour (Vegan) cocktail in Melbourne!! Also their manager Ori is an absolute legend 👏👏

Fad Gallery is, and will always be one of the best bars in Melbourne. Great music, quirky cool venue, fabulous art, wide range of beverages & most importantly, fun times are a guarantee. The owners are great fun & have created an absolute gem of a place in the heart of the CBD.

This place has such a good atmosphere and so much fun on a Friday night. I happened to have a little too many drinks one night and mistakenly left my work bag there and Jonny (owner) was kind enough to find my details through a receipt in my bag and return to me. He was very lovely 😊
