Always love visiting here, usually on my way home from work. Food is fresh and so delicious. Staff are friendly and helpful. Menu is small but everything on it is worth trying and will have you going back for more. The salad plate is different each time I have been but always super tasty and delicious. Have loved every meal that I’ve had here. Will continue to return time after time. Seating area is quite small, some tables and 2 bar seating areas. For a tiny restaurant they pump out amazing food time after time. The cookbook is available to purchase and includes their amazing salads. Would make a great gift as well as owning a copy for yourself.

I was impressed when I first looked at at their menu. Clean, simple and to the point. Falafels were ‘very good’ and so was everything else. Using good and fresh ingredients are more important than a long list of menu items. I think these guys understand that well. I went in right after they opened. But the kitchen was not fully prepped and I had to wait for about 40 minutes to get the food. That takes out one star from my review. Otherwise, food was good.

YES! ✅ Very Good Falafel is just that - very good! Great even. Delicious falafel plate that will feed even the biggest hunger for such a fair price. These guys don't skimp on the hummus 🙌 Have been back about three times since my first visit. Highly recommended.

What the hell the box got soggy in 5mins and got torn in 20mins. Are you kidding? Please do not take away if you don't live close to them. Thank you for the amazing and safe package.

Ambience is welcoming, staff was nice and accommodating changed order from take away to dine in, Cafe was busy but got to sit by the time order arrived. Ordered Ktzizot plate came with 3 mini patty, patty was nice and juicy but overall plate seemed a bit unbalanced. Need more meat and less of pickles and salads. Would have happily paid more if there were 5 patty on plate Located on a busy road, best to park car on side streets.

Awesome service, tasty food, nice portions. I think these are the nicest dips I've ever had in my life! I thought it was really cute that the napkin holder was a fresh garlic bulb 😊 You literally could not ask for anything better.

Hey team, food was great but just some feedback on your take away packaging….i bought the lamb plate and it destroyed the box on the short walk home I only live a block away on Sydney rd. The moisture soaked through and the bottom fell out of the box. I’m really lucky I was taking it home and could rescue it. Please look at more durable takeaway containers

The falafels live up to the store name - they are are crisp/golden on the outside and soft inside. They also provide generous servings, fresh salad and great dips. Service can be a little slow during peak periods, but it's definitely worth the wait.

THE BEST FALAFEL in Melbourne. In fact the best I have ever had. There version, scrumptious fresh falafels, their fresh salads are second to none. Always a line up out the door. You got to try them to believe how fantastic they are. Cash preferred. Try the whole menu and buy their recipe book for the best salads 10 ⭐️’s

Very disappointing falafel. They either burn it or really need to change their oil as all the falafels I saw coming out were very burnt. They should have a light brown colouring not dark crispy brown.

I've been here a couple of times, I arrived late yesterday, but they were still scooping falafel, and I decided to have the falafel salad pitta this time. It's just as good as it's always been, if I'm honest, crispy, well seasoned, just delicious. These falafel have really good colour and some of the best crunch around. My filled pitta was deliciously saucy, plus the salad was still fresh as. Previously, I'd indulged in a tray with falafel, humus, sweet chilli, and flat bread. Brunswick has some cracking spots now. It's really come alone the last years. These guys were in early, though, and they've become pretty established. Even as they were trying to close, people were turning up for takeaway bowls. The falafel is good. I'd have gotten more photos, but I was hungry. I remember the last time I visited, they were launching a book 😆

Wow! This was some of the best Middle Eastern food I've ever had. Every little bit of the two takeaway dishes we ordered - from the salad, to the dice, to the all important falafel - was delicious on its own and amazing in combination with others. I highly recommend the ktzizot (lamb meatballs) either in a pita or as part of a plate.

The best falafel I’ve ever had In my life. The shop lives up to its name very good falafel. The falafel were freshly made and fried to order. The Falafel was crunchy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. The toppings and pickles were really fresh, sauce was great. Great serving size, and only $10 for the pita.

Hands down the best falafel in Melbourne (we've tried almost every other place). The food is consistently good. The staff and vibe is great. The price also hasn't changed for years. Honestly, they could charge way more and I doubt it would affect the queues.

I don't even like felafals, but the food here is amazing. I love their bowls and the felafals are crunchy on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside. Staff are super friendly and the food is consistently perfect.

It's very good! Food is so good that if you go in for lunch you should expect to wait awhile. Atmosphere isn't much, just a standard shopfront cafe style. Delicious delicious falafel and good portion size in the falafel plate

While the felafel pitas and plates are excellent, our go-to is usually the salad plate which offers a regular rotation of seasonal vegetables prepared in a variety of ways. A simple, and delicious, way to get in a daily allocation of roughage!

Often get a salad mix for lunch or a pita and Falafel salad. I take my own container and lid. My whole family loves the Falafels here. Very nutritious and affordable meals. (Pictured- Coffee from Lobbs and Salad from VGF.)

I like the falafel at this place. However the first time I went the salad was much better. This time it was very little eggplant lots of grains.. falafel still good so maybe next time I'll just get the falafel wrap

I just loved the falafel in pita. They know exactly what to place in a sequence with placing the items perfectly so that you could get the taste of necessary flavours in each bite. Staff works like a machine and it seems like they are programmed to do specific job. The place needs a lift up though. I don’t know what image they wanted to display but currently there is rubbed down artistic look. Empty wooden thick shelves with few random items on them is not appealing. I will try their other food in the future.

Fantastic food. Keeping everything simple at very high quality ingredients and most importantly declines food. The falafel was delicious and the plate was amazing with grilled leeks, babauganous and salads. The lamb kofta plate with fresh pita was absolutely delicious. We loved it and will definitely be our regular visit.

This place is a MUST GO in Melbourne. I thank the person who suggested this restaurant to me every time I go here. You will not be disappointed. They do Israeli style falafels and it’s consistently delicious. The price point is reasonable. Great vegetarian options. You know that feeling of foodgasm, that’s me everytime I eat here, because the falafels are steaming hot, veggies are crisp and the sauces blow your mind.

Simplicity at its best! Nice little set up thats always alive with luaghter and chatter, of course sans lockdown days. The food is delicious and fresh! Portion sizes are really good and prices just about right. Staff is super friendly ans will be more than willing to help you decide what to eat.

Both quality and quantity has been going down the hill for the past few years. My last order barely had enough content for one person. They used to fill up the entire box. Made a complaint on their website about a month ago and still no response. These guys have been lucky that all their competitors couldn't sustain during the COVID 19 pandemic. However, as an ethical entity I would have preferred they were considerate about customer loyalty instead of committing daylight robbery. To the management of this business: You just lost a loyal customer!!!

This is hands down the best Falafel joint in Melbourne And yes, I have tried them all. The staff is super friendly and they do not mess around with too many dishes, so the ones they offer are simply superb. It's really hard deciding between the Falafel and Sabih each time I'm there, not to mention the tasty salads. Give it a try, it will not disappoint.
