Located in a very central location, this supermarket has a lot to offer. There are many self-checkout counters here. I enjoyed the ambience and the service I received.

The staff come in two types: appallingly rude, or depressingly-fresh-from-a-funeral. They're not helpful; I've never received a correct aisle number for something I'm looking for - at this point I'm wondering whether they're spiteful or just incompetent. Though, there was one girl who was very nice and conversational that worked at the registers. Maybe you guys just haven't crushed her soul yet?

Great location in Melbourne's CBD. Decent sized store. Mainly, 'Self-checkouts' NOTE: ENTRY on LEFT HAND SIDE

Woolworths QV was incredibly busy when I visited. Unfortunately there were lots of empty shelves so some products I unfortunately couldn't find. As one of the only Woolworths stores in the cbd (rather than the metro stores) a lot of people shop here, and I suspect the products clear out quickly as they can't top them up quick enough. Still has everything you need however, you may just need to select a different brand or variety of the product you are after

My go-to place for groceries and household items. I find almost everything there, so no complaints mostly. With inflation causing a spike in prices, common items do feel expensive at times, bit they try to manage the prices I guess. Compared to Coles and Aldi, the quality of products is better, in my experience. The whole store is very spacious, so it never feels crammed irrespective of the number of people inside. Good job!

This is the most busiest and biggest store in the CBD. Tbh! Management is so poor that there shelves are all the time empty. Its not one instance, i live next door and plenty of times have to come back over and over again to wait for the guys to stock up shelves. They really need to hire more stock up staff!.

It would be nice if security did not automatically assume you are a thief based off stereotypes . Security seem to select certain people whilst allowing others to leave the store unobstructed. Staff seem unable to read the receipt they have aggressively demanded from you and act in an overly hostile manner towards paying customers.

No staff at staffed check outs after 1030pm, rude girl wearing masks at self check out machines didn't want to help to put shopping through. Told her I was asking for help to help to keep people's jobs, if nobody uses staff, corporations will just start discarding people like useless waste. We must all persist on using staffed check out, for the future of humanity. Some people understand this, rude girl tonight didn't. Thank you to everyone out there in the world who doesn't give up on humanity, and continue to choose staffed check outs.

Loving the shopping experience here, their freshies & meat, as well as the great variety of Asian groceries available here. Most importantly, this Woolies is centrally located in Melbourne CBD & near where I live.

For anything and everything under the sun (of grocery 🤣). It's collection and aisle arrangement is really cool. Easy to find out what you need. Also just opposite to BigW, so if you combine both the stores, it's literally anything and everything. Staffs are also nice. Most importantly, you'll find a lot of Special deals, Low price deals and Half price deals throughout the year. Opening hours is till 11pm, so even whenever you feel something to grab for your tummy just walk through the glass doors.

The most well-hidden Woolworths in the whole country. Minimal (or no) signage and almost no directions on how to get here. Seriously, if there’s a zombie apocalypse I’m coming here, because not even the zombies would be able to find it.

I always use the self check out machines towards the exit. This morning, Sat 9 December, as I walked towards the machine near the exit, not realising it was closed (because it should be open) one of your females workers yelled at me EXCUSE ME SİR YOU NEED TO PAY FOR YOUR İTEMS as if I was going to shoplift ONE orange and ONE pear that I was openly holding in my hands. You need to teach your staff to mind their own business and have some basic manners. You can't open self-serve check out machines just to save a few extra bucks from labour wages and treat your customers like thieves for trying to use them. As a company you need to do better

A very large branch (especially considering it's in the CBD!) with plenty of stock and options. Reasonably well laid out and plenty of self checkout aisles ensuring no long queues. Can get quite crowded though and if you enter QV from the wrong entrance can take quite a while to find it. Parking can be tricky in this area.

Daniel thank you thank you thank you. Enjoying these lychees so very much, reminding me of eating them in my home country and buying them from hawkers on the side of the road. Takes me back. You are a gem and your service is exceptional. Woolworths is blessed to have someone of your calibre, compassion and work ethic employed by them. Keep up the outstanding service I will say hi next time I am there at my regular Woolies!

Huge range of products. Lots of self-serve check-out kiosks. Slightly confusing layout of the store, but no issue for regular shoppers.

Well, a team member here named Daniel (tall, slim, middle-aged with glasses) obviously did not like his job at all. He said the F word to me when I accidentally scanned an item twice, and when he was avoiding the item he said "Why is everything so difficult" right to my face. I 10/10 customer service I would rate.

Never bothered to write a review in the years i've been to this place but a little nice appreciation would be nice when I pointed out your whole Campos brand Indonesian flavour had an expiry date from 6 months ago. Can't remember the staff member's name but he was even ready to argue with me that nothing was wrong with it but relented in the end to replace the expiry dates and you're welcome mate.

This Woolworths Bakery is by far the best I have been to in a long time! As soon as I walked down the escalator I could smell the freshly baked goods and to think I wasn’t even on my way there! My casual visit to BigW turned into a visit to Woolworths. I ended up buying the ‘Dreamy Chocolate Chip Cookies’ and they were seriously amazing! This is the first time I have actually bought cookies from Woolworths that were not like eating a brick. They were super gooey and melt in your mouth. Perfect size and just the right amount of chocolate. Absolutely beautiful! I should mention that the section was well stocked and looked great compared to my local stores. It actually looked as though every item had been delicately placed and presented to ensure each item was just as good as the next. There’s nothing more than I love seeing isles that are full and well presented. My wallet would say otherwise though. 😂 I will definitely be back to try more!

Convenient place for groceries, it's right across of Big W so you can get a lot done with one visit. Also accessible by lift for bigger shopping carts. . Shh! A little tip you get for reading my review. If you're a regular at QV Woolworths and usually buy more than 5 things at once, it's worth checking out the Scan&Go feature on their app. It's really easy and efficient to use, even compared to the self checkout counter. It's only a secret because they have one counter for this feature and I hope it doesn't crowd up because I always use it.

Don’t bother shopping here late in the day. Many of the shelves are bare. A lot of basics simply sold out.

  • 5/5 Anceef A. 1 year ago on Google
Every grocery under one roof. The largest Woolworths I've been in cbd. It's a bit hard to find the way in for the first timers. Just follow whatever steps go underground and you will find the store.

This is a big store. I dont go there often, so I get confused about the entrance of the store, as it is the other way around. Very well stocked for all products, fruits and vegetables, breads, frozen food, cakes, cookies etc. Waiting time to checkout is minimal.

This supermarket is located centrally in CBD close to several other shops and there is also a Big W. Good choice, bakery, meat, fish, veg&fruits etc. You can join the Rewards program which is designed for regular customers to receive various benefits including cash bonus. Even late evening you can buy what you might have forgotten ;-) Absolutely comparable with Market. Enjoy ;-)

Pretty much what you can expect from Woolies. It was crowded when I visited, the checkout counters were busy. I asked if I could get a box they might not need anymore, staff said no boxes available.

  • 4/5 Simon V. 1 year ago on Google
It's a Woolies store! The best thing about it is the range of ways you can do your shopping; either through the app (scan and go), or self check out. There is also a single staffed checkout lane like the old days. The store is usually well stocked but there have been a few times I haven't been able to find what I need. The size of the store also means the layout can be a little confusing as well. The store is very busy throughout the day but there are plenty of self checkouts so it's usually not an issue getting in and out, albeit it's a little out of the way having to go all the way down QV and then back up again to leave, if you're on foot.

For an inner city shop it is big, good and organised store. Plenty of self service registers, very nice produce and well stocked shelves. Only thing is you have to find it. Lowest level via escalators or lift. Opposite Big W.

  • 4/5 N C. 1 year ago on Google
Generally very good for what you’d expect at a grocery store. Good variety, prices (especially when discounted), fresh produce, etc. Some days, they don’t restock enough so if you go at night you may not get everything u want.

  • 5/5 Carly S. 1 year ago on Google
Well stocked city store. Amazing number of self checkouts means you can be in and out very quickly. We shopped here during a city stay. Very convenient.

I’ve lived a block away from this store since it opened and the quality of the management has gone down dramatically - there is often no staffed check out available even for people with disabilities and staff refuse to assist. Relying solely on self check out for people with disabilities isn’t just a bad idea - it’s also illegal. Let’s be very clear - Woolworths QV is acting illegally and I look forward to them being raked over the coles (pun intended) at the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission.

I was chosen by your security guard to search my bag on Saturday afternoon he seemed very disappointed when discovering I had paid for my shopping in Woolworths Big w and BWS, I have no problem in bag search but a rude arrogant man and not apologetic afterwards Sour taste on my shopping trip whilst queuing to go up the stairs exit as you are renovating it’s not an ease task. Maybe some customer liaison training might not go amiss

😠 Very poor experience today. While trying to compare 3 different coffee beans, when I set one down to look at another, I had a staff member take the packages away from me and put them away. When I'm still standing there and looking at them, I don't appreciate having them taken from me. And when I...
