Imagine you’re diet and salad is your routine food for every day, and every day you have lettuce and baby rockets from Woolworths. Today I had terrible experience when I want to eat my lunch. I found something trying to comes up from my food. Can you imagine how was my feeling about every day same food?

Convenient location in Southern cross station. Decent collection of food items. Reasonable prices and utility for quick grocery requirements.

I'm always followed through the store by staff and security as though I'm a thief. I work near by so I wanted convenience but I find myself walking down to the coles to avoid the annoyance. I don't get it. Stop doing this type of profiling please.

Having this full grocery store. in the train station, is super convenient! You could get off work get your groceries then head home and not have to walk and carry a bunch of things. This location is super clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. And they even have bonuses like a coffee shop, liquor store BWS, and bakery.

Woolworths Southern Cross Visited on 10/6/2023 This is a good supermarket cum convenient store just near the entrance of Southern Cross. The isles are narrower than many Woolworths supermarket, but it has a lot of snacks, confectioners, cheeses, pastries, drinks and even sushi for people on the go, including me a infrequent interstate / regional train traveller. It also sell flowers more as a gift for a loved one. I do not see may Woolworths home brand products, but the staff seem to be younger, with a bit more vitality.

Very convenient store inside Southern cross station. It's a Metro store so you won't expect all items available but it is very handy you can find all necessary products like eggs, milk, and eat and vegetables at the same Wollie price

Conveniently located with southern Cross station carries the basics for a meal back at home or for the tourist staying near by to get things better priced than a convenience store. After 7ish pastries baked daily in store are half price so perfect to grab on way back to hotel. Not a lot of variety though.

The variety here is amazing! Store is very clean and the self-checkout is a very seamless experience. 100% recommend checking out if you have free time before your train.

The prices here are more expensive than other wollies stores around the country. The advertised price in the weekly catalogue doesn't apply to this particular store which is ashame if you live in the CBD and this is your only Wollies store that's near by.

Awful experience, even not ones! rude staff, even rude managers!!!!! there is no costumer's service. But this time they even cross the line! They put the wrong tag in a wrong place not even a one place more than 3 different places, they tell you this, in front of register, and don’t even bother themself to apologise for they mistake and if you ask question, the manager( a middle age lady) act like: “don’t waste my time”. And you think what’s happen then, you have to go back all the way and put the wrong stuff( which in this case it was more than 12 items) in the shelf's by yourself, So they didn’t behave you well, they make you angry and at the end you didn’t by anything and you all wast your time. I never come back in this branch ( Woolworth metro, southern cross station). More than disappointed👎🏻

$3 takeaway 5 Seeds double espresso is great value. Better than you expect from a supermarket cafe. Great to be able to have a decent coffee at an affordable price, and within a minute of ordering. Thanks Team for an enjoyable coffee, and super fast service.

Impressive Woolies store buried inside Docklands. Has everything you need, lots of registers and self-service for a quick exit. Handy if you work or live in the area. Local store manager politely checked with me to make sure I was not taken shots of customers. Good to see they are trying to protect their customers.

The cafe is a disaster, very long waits, unable to take your order in one go, no order management system. Avoid if possible and walk down to the woolies on King Street

The old lady doing coffees at the cafe was very rude. Told me that ‘I can’t read your mind!’ when I was simply looking what to order. This was very shocking and rude!! You need to go back to training or learn how to speak to people !! Will not be returning. learn some respect!

I like this Woolworths a lot, the aisles are very well organised and they have lots of registers to pay for things quickly, very convinient.

One of the best Woolworth metro in CBD.friendly staff. Also there are less varities of item compared with Woolworth stores. Can my small snaks and sushi also there is coffee shop. Also there is disable access.

Worst supermarket i’ve ever been too (from new zealand), fruit salad was unripe and expensive, self checkouts for cash were confusing and staff were not helpful, exit out of the supermarket was confusing and block up slightly making me wonder how to get out of the horrible place. I’ve heard woolworths it bad and now i’ve seen it in person!

I bought a box of cut fruit mix with quick sale. It was originally 3.5 dollars, but now 2.73.However,when I open the box, I can sell really strong alcohol smell, which indicates this box of fruits has already gone bad. Then I tried, and it proved I was right. Now I am gonna throw it away, because this tastes absolutely bad. I had them about 10mins after i bought them. I couldn't take it back to the store because I am on the train already. Someone has to stand up and say something for this situation.I am very upset because I spent the money, expecting me getting a taste-alright box of fruits instead of a box of fruits that already gone bad. In fact, the fruits that already gone bad shouldn't be sold because of the food safety issue.

Great Metro store conveniently located at the Southern Cross Station. Recent renewal has given the store a new look. Wide range of goods as well.

The one time that security wasn't watching me - or anyone - in that dismal back corner was the day another 'customer' was verbally violent towards me and towards someone else, a parent and 2 small children juggling everything to get their shopping done. Also, just unpacked my shopping at home. The hot chook still smells amazing. Not sure what to do now with the liquid chocolates, warm berries and heated uncooked meat upon which the chook was sitting for the journey home, placed by a checkout staff member. Must remind myself to limit my shopping there. Consistently inconsistent and never as convenient as I hope.

For Woolworths southern cross You should give the job to someone who need and happy to work there. I went there the store not even buzy they was group up talking . After I paid I forgot to print out the receipt. I went to ask for 1 fix Ems for my daughter. You wish I take a photo of the young staff there. She should be more kind and flexible. It not the end of the world. Woolworths not going to be bankruptcy just to give 1 fix ems. One of the staff name Evelyn said it ok to give 1 fix ems . But I wish someone should see the face of that staff. Manager of the store should do some training to the staffs. I don’t think they have any idea about service mind.

Terrible service. Visited 10:30pm August 6th and a security guard decided to pull a power trip on me. I was at the self checkout when one of my items was input incorrectly and, since there was no customer service nearby (plus, so few customers and all other checkouts were free), I decided to just Re-start at another machine (I only had two items). The security guard steps in and starts consistently berating me for “stuffing up” the machine. I politely told him I didn’t “stuff up” the machine and only moved to a new one. He got so mad at me, continued to berate me, and for what? I wasn’t holding up any line or break anything. I think Woolworths should really think about the anger management issues of their security personnel, or don’t allow security to get involved in customer service issues. They should just be there for security, not to just make a fuss and berate customers for doing nothing wrong.

😠 Very poor experience today. While trying to compare 3 different coffee beans, when I set one down to look at another, I had a staff member take the packages away from me and put them away. When I'm still standing there and looking at them, I don't appreciate having them taken from me. And when I...
