A very special place for pho. The soup has very unique type of flavour if you pick the spicy options, you can pick a lot of extras and you bring the plates to your own table when it's ready. The price is also decent for what you get. This place also doesn't really care that much for restrictions as well.

I ordered premium beef pho in tiny hotpot. The soup is just great! Also beef and noodles. Worth $30. I will try thin noodles next time. 🫶🏻

Nice place, good staff and the food was decent, but nothing exceptional. I ordered a stewed beef pho with rice noodles ($13.80, if I remember correctly). It was all right. The quantity was very good for me but a few pieces of beef tasted strange, slightly tangy and chewy, which I found odd. Also the broth felt a bit lacking in flavour, so not entirely satisfied with the food. Still, a place worth visiting, might go for another dish.

I am a regular customer here and let me just start of by saying you have to come here, this noodles are soft and bouncy, soup is light and flavourful and the meat.. It’s tender and beautiful, must try the beef rib noodle. They also offer free pickled vegetables which is what I added to the bowl. Lovely staff who get the food to you quick. Always revisiting at least every fortnight 🤗

Good soup. We ordered the spiciest item on the menu and it did not disappoint. The jelly drink had a bit too much brown sugar but overall great experience.

Great food. I had the spicy lamb soup and my mum had the spicy beef soup. The lamb soup had a lot more spice than the beef soup so I had to scoop out a little bit of the chilli. It was still great

JUST ACCEPTABLE PHO This pho shop on Elizabeth St offers a range of beef and lamb pho dishes. It's very basic with a limited menu. Order at counter wait for your number to be called and collect your bowl of pho. The pho soup base is fairly bland and the amount of meat is minimal. At $18 a bowl, you might expect better. The cafe has both small and large tables and a row of stools along the front window. People with mobility issues will be fine as it is all on one level with no steps to negotiate.

Ordered plain beef pho, the wrong dish was brought out, sent it back when I finally got the correct dish it was so oily that it was ineatable the oil literally coated my mouth, the beef was fatty and had grisle, no corriander bean sprouts or lemon came with it. I had two spoonfulls and pushed it away.

The soup paste was freshly made, the rice noodles were unique and yummy! The tofu dish was delicious!

Spicy lamb rich noodle rated 2 chilli in spice and deep fried egg with runny yolk. The broth was spot on, wasn’t too salty, couldn’t taste the heavy beef oily msg like after taste. It had just enough seasoning and flavour, combined with the fresh thin noodles and lamb slices really topped it off! Beware though these broth also pack a punch with the added chilli flakes and if you slurp that the wrong way it will send you to a coughing fit, as another customer and I were coughing in harmony with blood shot eyes and forehead covered in serviettes :) Don’t forgot the self serve table where you can help yourself to their homemade pickled veggies. The dish was served very quickly and probably took about 2/3minutes, very impressive.

I just chowed down a bowl of the (new on the menu) stewed beef with special Chinese pickles. I must say that I am super impressed! the broth is sturdy and well developed, the portions of beef and noodles are lavish, along with the zesty edge of the pickles! IMO best enjoyed with a Wang Lao Ji facing out at Elizabeth Street people watching & contemplating your next move.

Pro: unbeatable taste! Con: the owner apprently passes every single cent cost increase to the customers, or even more. Started at $11.80 in 2018 and now it’s $17.80. And it’s constantly increasing so that I have to check the price every time I visit. :/

I should have read the review before entering into this disaster restaurant. We ordered 4 noodles/wonton bowls and a salad. All of them were unbelievably tasteless. I assume they put MCG into the foods as I feel unwell afterwards. The waitress showed no sense of hospitality. Same did the waiter/chef. Gosh, they should hire more people, or better train them. The music was too loud.

Always love coming here. They have a really flavourful, light broth that I just inhale every time I’m there. The noodles are just cooked perfectly and are nice and chewy. I love the fried egg you can add into your noodles it’s fantastic. It’s just a classic Chinese beef/lamb rice noodle restaurant when you need a quick bowl of noodles on a cold day. Also the portions are great; one bowl is already very filling for me and it comes with a good portion of meat. It’s definitely worth the price and one of my favourite places to grab lunch. They also added this fried rice cake dessert which is also just amazing and they make the rice cake fresh there. I’ll remember to take photos for the next time I’m there!

Yummy gluten free beef pho, wasn't much to choose from but that's our fault for getting there so late in the afternoon for a late lunch. Beef was tender, servings very generous and broth was full of flavour.

but the waitress had to call this as beef soup with a whole chicken inside being boiled. it’s tricky.

Nice place to sit and eat and the staff are friendly. Food however is a different story. I had the beef spicy pho soup, which unfortunately was not good. It filled a void but that was it. They don't have a rare beef option here but lucky the cooked beef they used had some flavour, soup broth was very bland and they provide no condiments like bean sprouts, Chinese basil or fresh chopped chilli.

I've been there 2weeks ago, and ordered a beef noodle, it’s soooo yummy and fresh. Very traditional Chinese food and will recommend my friends have a beef bowl too! Nice service and nice people;)

The restaurant mainly serves Chinese style beef noodles and hotpot. We opted for the individual hotpots with noodles, beef and veggies. The broth was tasty and ingredients quite fresh. It’s definitely a fun experience and quite good value for money. I’ll be back to try more in the future.
