Dont try to tell me you have had loaded fries until you ha e eaten at Lamama’s. Absolutely delicious and filling without spending a fortune. Very friendly helpful staff too. Will be back for sure!

The food is very tasty, the staff are professional, respectful and the price is fair. I'd recommend the chicken burger and chips or the loaded chips with chicken.

I don't know about the food (didn't had it cause they took too long) , you have to wait a lot for your order , you might starve to death. If you have lot of time to waste for food this is the best place. But in my opinion in the same time frame you can go to other place have food ,go home and digest it rather than waiting.

Cheap, delicious burgers, well cooked and served with a good amount of fries. Their homemade beef burgers are the best. They never fail to deliver good food.10/10

Ordered 2 Mediterranean chicken paninis and they were delicious and served hot. I have been eating from here for many years because there food is amazing. Don’t forget to ask for their special sauce it’s delicious not to spicy and goes well with chips and the baguettes or paninis. One of the best HALAL places in Leicester.

Known for there delicious "Lemon chicken". Falls off the bone. The taste and quality is always consistent. For under £5 it's the best chicken on Evington road.

All meats are unprocessed. Baguettes and paninis are freshly made. Recommend the Mediterranean chicken baguette with all the sauces. Friendly and welcoming owner and staff.

I took a bite and it was super chewy i couldnt get my teeth through the meat so I took a look at the meat inside and I was SHOCKED to see my “medium cooked” steak baguette was RAW inside. Not pink, RED and fully uncooked. I feel sick to my stomach.

Quality has gone ! Care in cooking gone! The chicken fillet was over done to the point it has gone dry !!! The pizza , Chicken was tasteless and dry the pizza was over done to the point the crust was crunchy and the base. Crunchy croutons springs to mind! There lamb burger is good, but not enough to rescue today's experience. The Loaded fries chicken was dry and crispy Absolutely tasteless...and the cheese was just a lump on top of the fries shockingly bad, definitely not worth £5.50 !!!! Have been buying from the Evington Rd branch for over a decade and there has been a gradual decline in quality!!! We used to enjoy there food, not anymore! On top of that they can be quite abrupt in their customer service which was worth putting up with in the days when the food was worth it. Unfortunately we all agreed it was not worth the £30 we won't be eating there again which is such a shame.

So ordered a steak baguette with chips and a 12 inch Mexican pizza. Took about 10 mins , the baguette was that good I nailed it so unfortunately no picture. The chips were hot and I got hot sauce on . The pizza was good but tasted like it was a shop pizza , think its the base that let it down. Total cost 14 quid

Very good food and well priced, the half chicken meal is very large and will fill one person up easily. Everything else also looked very good and the place was clean and nice. The staff were very nice aswell.

Travel from Peterborough for their grilled chicken and lemon gravy. I spend double on fuel than what I pay for the food worth every penny.

The food at La Mama was simply perfect the pizza was infathomably fresh and delicious. Furthermore the chips were perfectly guilded and the sauce so elegantly poured upon them was delectable. The burger spoke to my soul as the tender chicken was indulgent.

Still the best out of the two branches. Have been a regular customer since I was teenager and the recipe hasn't changed, consistently good food, at decent prices per head for some of the best roast chicken and lemon gravy, the chicken falls off the bone, need I say anymore? Always best to eat as soon as you get it and recommend chilli and special sauce on the chips

do not listen to earlier comment about no spices. there is 100s of indian places which do that if you want spices. la ma ma do great simple food. fresh tasting. meditarrian arab style. shame their pizzas are sold out atm

I’ve been here a few times recently. The food is legit and the people are nice. Has a few seats to eat in. Chicken BBQ pizza was gorgeous. However people in the area are a bit aggressive. It can be difficult driving through Evington Rd and side streets. As they say A HUNGRY MAN IS AN ANGRY MAN.
